Wonderful stay at Choctaw Hall. Accommodations located in the "English basement" (ground floor) with beautiful historic home/museum located above. Rooms very comfortable and hostess very gracious. Would recommend if you enjoy being surrounded by old things.

Gorgeous property, and very well kept. Mr. David was fascinating and gave us valuable and interesting details on the home. This house is like stepping back into another century. It was a great adventure.

Our Christmas trip to Natchez was astounding while Staying at Choctaw Hall. The splendor of this house is beyond measure. We felt privileged to be immersed in such opulent surroundings. The tour with David was the highlight of our trip. The four guest rooms were Lovely and made you feel at home. The vouchers for Breakfast were at the Natchez coffee co, which servers a full scrumptious buffet. Bring good walking shoes and Just be prepared to go up and down many stairs. We are all ready planning another trip.

What an amazing home, incredibly historic and full of beautiful antique furnishings. The owner Mr. Garner was so gracious and welcoming and a true southern gentleman and charming host.

What a fabulous house! Everything was beautiful and welcoming including snacks in the common area. The hosts were wonderful and accommodating. There were several local restaurants within walking distance. The river is about 2 blocks away. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Outstanding! I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. I wish we had stayed longer. The mansion is beautiful and the collection of porcelain, which is very renowned in the USA and possibly the world, is unbelievable, not to mention the other rare pieces of art.
David and Lee are so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed.
David was so interesting, very educated in the finer things in life, and entertaining, not so much in a haha way, though he could be, but in keeping you spellbound in his stories.
I highly recommend staying at Choctaw. I look forward to my next visit.

We also took the tour of the house which was so interesting and an amazing combination of personal and historical stories. We were warmly greeted when we checked in despite being much later than we had intended and made to feel so at home. We LOVED our time.

My husband and I, along with another couple, spent a weekend at Choctaw Hall. We were not sure what to expect, because the accommodations were very reasonably priced. We were extremely pleased with our decision. Choctaw Hall was in a great location. Just down the street from the Natchez Brewery, a few short blocks to shopping and restaurants, and within walking distance to the river. The home was absolutely gorgeous!. Our rooms were beautiful, clean, and well appointed. I was amazed at the attention to every little detail the owner takes to make his guests feel welcomed. We were comfortable and felt safe at all times. The owner gave us a private tour of the home. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. We recommend this property to anyone who may be planning a visit to Natchez. You will not be disappointed!

My room was large and comfy. I was welcomed by a nice gentleman who showed me to my room. He was very kind and made sure I didn't need anything. Even after I locked myself out, he ran to my rescue ;). The location was perfect. Walking distance to the Natchez Brewery and Natchez Coffee Co. Both very important place. Look froward to going back!!

This is a great place to stay. It is an old mansion in fantastic condition. The rooms are large and the linens are high end. The host is terrific. There were plenty of snacks and beverages. Breakfast is at a place a few blocks away. Most of the mansions are in walking distance. Don't forget to take the tour which is included with your stay. Very well worth it. A few mansions in the area offer dinner and worth the drive to get to them. I was really happy I stayed. It was a very pleasant stay.

David, the owner of his beautiful and well-kept family mansion, was most hospitable. When I arrived, he gave me a personal tour of his home and the back and side gardens. My room was huge with an attached bath. I slept well in that comfy bed. The breakfast voucher to Natchez Coffee Co… Perfect! Delicious specialty coffees and breakfast made to my specifications… Also had a choice for green smoothies.

Comfortable stay in a beautiful historic mansion. Take advantage of the owner's tour of the property because that's what makes the stay really special. His collections of porcelain, silver, and antique furniture are truly extraordinary.
Your room is newer interior construction on the first above ground floor under the stairs, and furnished with comfortable antique furniture. The one television is in a parlor area common to the four guest rooms. Wifi is strong so you can stream any TV you need to a tablet in your room. Breakfast is a voucher for a full breakfast at a local restaurant. We enjoyed our stay.

I do not think it's possible one could do any better than stay at this personal residence in Natchez. We had an outstanding stay. Highly recommended. David and Lee are the best.

Chocow Hall is beautiful from the outside and in. Beautifully decorated entryway and dining room with antiques all about. The home is 4 stories and our room was downstairs on the first floor. The only downside is all rooms have queen beds, no kings that know of. Our bed was very comfortable and the private bath was nice. We walked into town and along the river and had a nice Italian dinner.

Lee had great recommendations for things to do. David presented a history of his family, the building, and the objects on display. Great location and sites were within walking distance or a short drive. Breakfast was not on site, but it was excellent.
