Great stay. Wonderful view of the Grand Canyon right outside our door. All amenities walking distance. Great price to stay right in the village.

The location of the Bright Angel Lodge is absolutely amazing and the view from our cabin is the best! Clay Tisdale and the staff are so awesome, and their customer service is Second to None. Our short stay was so perfect, and we are so blessed to have the opportunity to stay at your beautiful lodge. We highly recommend Bright Angel Lodge to all our friends and family!

If you want to be close to the canyon, this is a great choice.
THe room we had was small but liveable, had no TV, that was my fault for not reading the booking properly but had a great bar and good choice of food

Ok you come here to see the Grand Canyon. To be staying right on the rim is just brilliant. But a few issues with our stay. The room we had has an interconnecting room and you can hear the neighbours. Another issue was the food options. The steakhouse was shut and the cafe and tavern almost have the same menu. Other options within the park but have to drive. Otherwise it was a great stay PS don’t have the pot roast at the cafe….absolute rip off!

Booked a Rim Cabin but was not on the Rim. It wasn’t far but I thought booking Rim would be closer. The cabin we were in was connected to another cabin and we could hear everything the neighbors were saying. Absolutely no privacy. We would stay again but only in a stand alone cabin.

Such a great little cozy cabin steps from the South Rim! The Grand Canyon Village feels like a ski resort or a summer camp, depending on the season, but you can't beat being so close to the rim trail and Bright Angel Trail. Clean and comfortable room.

January 2024 was my 2nd stay at Bright Angel. It is right on the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Rooms are small but recently renevated and extremely clean. Great, reasonably priced food at the lodge restaurant. Love it!

If you are looking to stay in the park this is a great place to do it. Right on the rim of the canyon, easy walking distance to other hotels and places to dine. It is no frills but a nice place to stay

We were in a “historic cabin” which was lovely and quaint and right near the rim! The amenities are similar to a Hampton Inn, without free breakfast. The lodge building has a restaurant, and there are many walkable places for food.
The bathroom is tiny, and there is not a lot of space for toiletries. But, that’s what you get in a place with personality and charm! We loved it.

A great location but it appears some of the staff would rather be somewhere else!

I left my bag of reading material when we checked out, returned later and they had saved it for me!

The only issue i had was the noise isolation - lacking. But everyone is exhausted at the same time, so, in the end, this worked out. Keep in mind- this is in the middle of a national park....

Wished some cabins were available with king size bed, but understandable due to their size. Restaurant has a bit to be desired, quality for price felt poor. Loved being right at the rim and being able to wander around for different views at sunrise and sunset. Felt truly like good old Americana/National Park vintage allure!

Comfortable cottage with everything for a good rest, inside park in a location that cannot be better.

great place to stay located directly at the rim

It is 25 degrees here with windchills that feel like 19, it went down to 10 degrees last night and our cabin had NO HEAT. Maintenance did little to nothing to fix it, it was dangerously cold and 3 of us had to sleep in one queen size bed to use body heat to keep warm. Completely dangerous and unacceptable conditions to sleep in. We can’t even take showers this morning because it would be extremely cold to do so. We just want to leave and want our money back!!!

Wonderful cabin close to the rim and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Steps from the Bright Angel trail. The cabin was comfortable, clean, with a lot of charm.

The room was cozy and the bathroom was clean (except for the vent). It is a one minute walk from the Grand Canyon south rim trail
The only negative aspect was the cold in the room: it was freezing and the small air conditioner wasn’t very useful

Room was really clean, bed was comfortable and most importantly I was able to park my vehicle a couple steps from the cabin (this was important as we were in the middle of a snow storm)

Had an amazing stay and enjoyed the facilities and tourist centre. The staff were pleasant but not really helpful with answering questions, their focus was on superficial conversation only. Whether it be in the gift shop, reception, bar or restaurant, everyone seemed like they just didn’t want to be there. They looked overworked and understaffed - maybe management should look into how well they are treated.

Amazing location just next to the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Nice room in a romantic log cabin. Very friendly service.

Loved being right on the rim. Really cool to see the Grand Canyon through our window. Room was comfortable and clean. TV is old and small but watching tv should not be the plan here.

Being on the rim was great. However with our cabin, you could hear everything with the rooms around us. Also, the lighting was not good and it had a musty odor. The bed was great and things seemed clean. Also, there was very little lighting on the rim path back from El Tovar. We had to use our phone flashlight.

Darling rooms and a great location. Only wish they had a microwave somewhere. Would highly recommend, especially a freestanding cabin.

We loved being able to wake up and see the sun rise over the Grand Canyon. The cabin was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The dinner (at the steakhouse) was excellent, and the staff at the restaurant (and the breakfast cafe) were terrific. The only negative was during check-in. We came in at 7:20, one person ahead of us, and the clerk didn't even acknowledge our presence until 7:40 -- no "hello, welcome, I apologize for the wait," not even eye contact. Luckily, the dinner and the views the next morning wiped that rudeness away. I would stay at the same place again.

Loved that it is Steps from the Canyon Rim!
Did not like that we could hear every sound ie- conversation, snoring from the room next door!

Remembering that they are cabins, it was great. It was clean, had a full bath and was heated. Very close to the rim of the Grand Canyon. Would definitely go back.

This is our first time staying in the park, right off the rim trail. Great location. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an opportunity to stay in the park.

Historic location next to one of the most stunning views in the world

We initially booked three nights at Bright Angel Lodge, but left after two nights. Our room was in the Powell Lodge building. When booking, we understood that this is an old building, and understood there are constraints in running a hotel in a national park. However, be prepared that you can hear EVERYTHING that guests are doing, saying, etc., the the next room. There is absolutely no sound barrier. When doors open in the hall, it sounds like someone is opening your door, which is startling. Also, there was a dumpster right outside the window, and the garbage truck arrived while it was still dark both nights. We did not sleep well because of all the noise. The queen room was the largest available, but it was still a tight squeeze for two adults; although the bathtub/shower was a good size. There is a small mini fridge in the room, and I recommend bringing food because the on-site restaurants were pricey (as can be expected). Other than that, the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. The Bright Angel Trail was steps away, which is very convenient if that's something you plan to do. At the time we were there in early December, there was a lot of parking, but parking may be an issue if you book at a busier time of year.
