My family came over to stay on our confirmed night. However, there were about 20 to 30 men that looked very sketchy.they were all smoking and drinking at the front of their hotel. We have a 13 year-old daughter that they all locked eyes on and we felt very uncomfortable. we basically told the front office they can keep our money and we’re going to book somewhere else with another hotel.

positives-breakfast was modest but ok. room was clean. a/c effective and quiet. shower stream real nice. room was quiet.
negatives-furniture a bit dated. towels thin and non-absorbent. couple minor repairs needed.

This location wasn’t the worst but the stay was uncomfortable. To begin with we get into the room and the tables are weirdly placed to block a conjoining rooms door. There was no microwave in the room only one placed in a common area that was outside. The room had a muggy stale smell to it, I had to go out and by air freshener. I tried to wash a load of laundry since we were in a near by river just before and the machines didn’t work, they just sent me across to the street to a sketchy laundry mat. I had specifically booked the room because it had a hot tub, we showed up and the hot tub was empty. If you’re going to literally just sleep, wake up and leave, it’s a good fit for you. The good thing was that the breakfast was decent, had quite a few options.

Fiest it snelled of string mold.Turning on the heat made it smell even worse. The dark carpet was nasty and also smelled bad. There were nasty stuff on the bathroom wall. It looks like the house cleaner pretty much just made the bed and wiped the counters off. Dont let the internet pictures fool you.
They do allow pets. Thers a $25 dollar a day fee with a possible $200 cleaning fee.

It wasn't an expensive place in fact it was very inexpensive but it was clean enough, had a great shower and comfortable beds.

This hotel is nothing flashy, but rooms were clean & bug free which is a huge plus! When I checked in @ the front desk the man said my booking was for a smoking room so I immediately requested to be changed to a non-smoking room and he was able to accommodate without any problem or change in rate, which was nice. They have a small breakfast area in the lobby which looked to have waffles, juice, coffee, pastries, & a couple fruit options but we didn't have time to sit down and eat as we were leaving early the next morning. There was nobody at the front desk or in the breakfast lobby to formerly check out with when I went in at 8 a.m. so I just left my key in the "checkout" box and left.

The shower head pointed to the bathroom floor, getting the floor wet. the security door latch was loose, needs tightening. We were charged for a night, that I couldn't call to say we would be there in two days, no direct number to the hotel. The bed was hard as rocks, woke up with a major back ache. Requested extra bath towels, didn't get.

For the price it was perfect. Pool and hot tub were awesome and the staff were helpful. Room was clean and comfy.

There was really no major issues with the room. The sink was clogged a bit, but I had never seen anyone to tell after we checked in. They claimed that the pool closed at 9, but there were children screaming and playing until at least 11. The continental breakfast was pretty good though. They had the basics. The waffles were great.

Not too shelf but not terrible. Decent place to stay for a convenient visit to the church we were married at. Not fancy but nice enough. Thank goodness for great company (the Mr in my Mrs)

If you are looking for a simple stay, meaning you just want a clean place to sleep, then this is the place. The Front Office staff was very friendly upon check-in. The free breakfast was average - no eggs or bacon, but do-it-yourself mini waffles and cereal - also a few pastries, bagels and fruit. The room was comfy and mostly clean (no bedbugs, we always check). There was a dead bug in the emergency light in the bathroom. Pool was very clean and overall, the entire property was quiet.

The hotel is clean and well maintained overall. However, they only had the air conditioner fan on and it was set at 73. It was 102 that day, so the room was hot and took hours to cool down.

This was the fastest check in and check out I have ever experienced. Everything was fine during checking in but when I went to my room and started to unpack my son opened one of the dresser drawer and was yelling “ mom there are roaches look” indeed there were. I put all my stuff in the bags and left right away. I went to see the manager and he said that he wasn’t aware 😡 . He stated that probably someone put them there😡😡😡he refused to refunded my first night . I told him I wasn’t take them home. I took my receipt and left. Please ! Don’t go.

We liked having a couch in our room. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast provided had plenty of options.
There wasn't a parking space available in front of our room. There wasn't enough soap in the room for showering.

The room smelled good as soon as we entered. The bathroom was very clean. The sheets smelled good and the bed and pillows were comfy. We stayed here on our way home from taking our boat for a spin at canyon lake. They offered extra parking for our boat. Service was excellent and the complimentary breakfast was good too! We had a great stay.

Front desk was friendly and helpful. Room was okay I reckon. Beds were comfortable, was disappointed in the fact there was no microwave in the room. 1st night was okay, but last night I was woke up with my right hand itching like crazy. Turned in the light, to find I had been bitin by a BEDBUG. Searched the bedding to find there was spots of blood from where bedbugs had been. I will spent the extra money next time on much better accommodations. Went to the front desk to check out and told the desk clerk what happened and showed her my hand. She neither apologized or showed any concern. The Health dept should be involved with hotels like they are eateries.

The beds were clean but Tv remote didn’t work and a giant hairy booger was flicked on the restroom wall. It wasn’t too far from the river. Next time I’m probably going to drop a few more dollars and stay somewhere nicer.

For starters the rooms were very musky and dingy, 2nd and most of all, the vending machine that had drinks supposedly was filthy and diplayed with OLD products, I put in $2.00 to receive a water and nothing dispensed, it did give me .50 change back but NO WATER. The clerk did mention to me when I asked her for a vending machine, she told me and did say it was probably out. She had been telling management but they DID NOTHING. Very disappointing and embarrassed that New Braunfels allows this kind of hospitality. P.S. I was born and raised in NB.
