I can’t say enough great things about this hotel! The location is perfect & the staff is exceptional! My husband and I met on a chairlift 34 years ago and just celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary! The staff went the extra mile and left a special note in our room with a cute snow globe and champagne with 2 gorgeous glasses. Deann at the reception desk was incredibly helpful, even helping us move rooms to a larger bed (double bed was too small for us). Thank you all for going the extra mile. We will definitely be back!

For the first time ever, I got a room with a Murphy Bed. The pleasure of paying over $600 per night for a Murphy Bed cannot be understated. It looks like the room was designed to be a 1 for a family rather than a real hotel room. In fact, I had a bird's ear view to both the conversation happening in the next room and the kids knocking on my door on the adjoining room. It was an exceptional disappointment. As in "this is one of the absolute worst hotel experiences I can ever remember" disappointed. On a Tuesday! If I should ever return to the Summit, I will be sure to make sure I do not get a room with a bed that folds down from the wall. Be sure to do the same. All that said, the setting and staff were lovely. They brought this review up from 1 star to 3. Overall, it was a MASSIVE disappointment.

Wonderful view of Lone Peak from our 7th floor window and the steps away from the Ramcharger eight and Swift Current six ski lifts.

As a ski in/ski out property, it was literally just steps from the lifts. Ski valet is also right there and extremely convenient. Staff was very nice. loved the breakfast in the restaurant, good drinks at bar, shower was amazing, TV options were great, storage in the room was the best we've seen in a ski resort hotel. For negatives, just 2 things: most importantly, the pillows are ATROCIOUS! Asked at front desk for anything else - different kind, different ones in general - to no avail. We all had to stuff bath towels, sweatshirts, Patagonia puffers, etc in order to sleep at all. To spend $7000 on a week for the hotel stay and need to STUFF your pillow is ridiculous. They are about 12 inches by 12 inches square and about 2 inches thick - all 8 in the room were the exact same. Not one of us could sleep without at least a towel, sweatshirt and a puffer coat folded and stuffed in the pillow case. Last, the self park lot was about a 10 minute cold, dark walk from the hotel. Valet was available for $35/night or something - if you can do it, it's worth it because that walk was not fun. Overall, it was a great stay but seriously, pack your own pillow or extra clothes to stuff the case with or your sleep will be miserable!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the bell station attendant were very hospitable. We will be staying there again soon.!

Everything was great except the beds! For such a nice resort, you’d think the beds and mattresses would be nicer. Both beds in our room felt very cheap and the mattresses were terrible! Other than that, no complaints!
