We had a great guy check us in. He was friendly and check in was quick and easy. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Less than 15 minutes drive to Downtown Charleston. Will definitely stay again!

The gentleman that checked me in was so friendly I was suspicious at first. Was he trying to sell me a timeshare or take me to dinner?? No… he was just a master of customer service. The outside of the building has a hint of 1980’s Beirut but don’t let that scare you. The room was very clean and had a generously sized TV and a mini fridge with a separate freezer, which was nice. I’ve seen a couple other reviews with complain about the bathroom fan being loud… I did find it noisier than the average fan but while I was “doing my business” in the bathroom I was focused on more important things. I would say my only major complaint would be the hot water was lower case h hot, and to flush the toilet took more effort than one would expect. Minor complaints for the price.

Great location. Close to airport and also to historic Charleston. Plenty of restaurants and gas stations right there would definitely stay again

I picked Econolodge because the recent reviews stated how clean it was and that it was just renovated. Plus it was more affordable than all other hotels in the area for one night. Pleasantly surprised and it was probably cleaner than the expensive hotels! The guy who checked us in was very nice too.

The rooms are newly renovated and very clean. Big flat screen tv. Really good water pressure. House keeping kept my room very clean. Would return again

I liked the fact that it was very clean. When i travel, all i want is a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. Was very satisfied with my stay.

It was too loud and the exterior lights were so bright that it made it hard to sleep even with black out curtains.

The receptionist was very nice during check in. Everything went smooth. The room had been remodeled and was clean. The area seemed safe and quiet. I would stay again if I'm ever in the area.

We have stayed here before, mainly because the people who run it are extra friendly & want your stay to be memorial.. Clean & updated rooms. The only thing I have a problem with is the bed, its too hard for me.

Hotel was easy to access. The room was very updated, clean, and nicely decorated! Our stay was very quiet until the garbage truck woke us up at 4:30am. Would definitely recommend simply because it was a total bargain! Would stay here again!

So the outside looks run down but the insides are nicely appointed and clean. The immediate parking lot area also seems run down but once you go outside of that it seems like a nice location. We felt safe. I’d recommend this location with these caveats plus that you will hear some fairly loud aircraft noise. We plan on staying here again.

I booked this hotel several months ago and upon trying to check in the clerk said I was nowhere in the system and wouldn’t give me a room even though my bank account was charged for the room. They never sent me an email with a confirmation number but charged my bank account when I booked. Scammer hotel. Will never book there again.

It was clean and comfortable. Would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room being I went to the office at 7am to get coffee there since I noticed it at check in. But 7am no one was in the office.

Had.a 1 night stay. Overall, very happy with my room. Very clean and quiet. They don’t have a big lobby area, so it was a little confusing where to enter.

It was good for a one day stay, close to the airport. It looks like they remodel all the room, but for some reason left the old worn coach chair. Outside is old, parking in the back was limited.

Our room had a handicapped shower that I have never seen in a hotel! We are not disabled, but we are getting older!! Close to the airport was important.

Guy at the front desk was the nicest. Unfortunately the room was quite small and you’re basically sleeping the flight tower of the nearby airport. Every 10-15 minutes a 737 roars overhead and you’re waiting for someone to parachute into your room. Otherwise, it was okay (not if you have better options).
