Cleanliness 3.0 out of 5. Carpet had several stains, bathroom had smudged tiles and walls, shower curtain rod about to fall off wall, bed was clean and smelled fresh, pillow clean, heater worked good. Outside was clean and organized. Free breakfast included but limited to certain amount per person if you want extra items they charge. Check-in clerk was friendly. Bunch of shops near by.

A nice room that was clean and comfortable and affordable . Dawn was very nice and super helpful with information about the area. We would definitely stay again. We come down just to see the sunrise so at 13 minutes from our favorite local beach, with a free breakfast. Met our needs perfectly!

A delightfully lovely woman ran the place from the front desk efficiency and a pleasant demeanor. The room was clean as a whistle. I'm definitely returning here when I'm in town on business.

As soon as we got there and we’re greeted by the front desk woman, she was so rude to us. She proceeded to run down the rules like we were children. I told her she could be a little nicer, and then a small And she told me she never smiles. Then my sister went into the bathroom and took a shower, and she got locked in there. I could not get her out. It took them 20 minutes to get her out. She almost had a panic attack and the woman was still rude to me because I had to go and get her and bother her it took her and the maintenance man to undo the handle on the bathroom to get her out instead of apologizing she just walked away. I will never stay there again, so unhappy with our stay.

Rooms are nice and comfortable, the complex feels a little bit impersonal.
Negatives Wi-Fi is not very reliable and it is slow and I need to work from my computer so I need a perfect Wi-Fi.
Big positive Front desk is opened 24 seven after midnight and a staff member who stays next-door is available to check you in after midnight
I work very long hours and this is very important to me. Thank you.

Great location to Belmar beach and restaurants, comfortable room, nice continental breakfast, safe, and easy parking. Have stayed here several times and will stay again.

Not exactly the Ritz but it was a great place to crash for 2 nights. Location was perfect for what we needed. Owner was super nice.

I always have a comfortable, safe, and cozy stay, The owner puts a nice personal touch to her inn keeping, and pays attention to details. I look forward to returning. The convenient shopping nearby (Aldi's, Target, Whole Foods, Starbucks) and proximity to the ocean make the location ideal, even in the off season

Friendly & responsive staff. Clean facility and room. Convenient location.
Can be a little noise from the road so if you're looking for perfectly quiet this may not be your location yet it didn't bother me.

The floors and shower in the bathroom were filthy. Doors were falling off the dresser. Rates should be re-examined.

It was what you can expect from a two star hotel. Overall it was clean, but the facilities were a little dated. The comforter in my room had a cigarette burn/hole in it from many washes prior.

What a cozy little locally owned hotel! Nice to get away from the big chains and receive personal service! Quiet. Clean and handy to everything. Lady at front desk went way out of her way to make it a personal experience!

I found the reception clerk friendly, efficient and very helpful. The room was clean, and well stocked with enough towels for our visit.

I love staying at this budget friendly hotel. The owner is fantastic and the lobby is very cheerful and welcoming. The bathroom in my room looked new and sparkling. The location is fantastic if you’re in need of amenities—snacks at Aldi’s or a new set of pjs at Target. Will be back soon.

It’s been clean and comfortable. What looks like long term tenants at the back is a little worrisome the first time we saw them. But otherwise it has been the best motel we have stayed at in the area. I plan on staying there again.

It was much nicer than we expected it to be, at this price. The layout of the room was really nice, with a desk area with nice lighting.

The location is good ,close to stores and a short drive to the beach. I dont recommend trying to bike ride way too much traffic. The lobby was nice, the pool larger then most and clean. The lady at the desk was somewhat rude, she was often found sleeping on the couch. The room was a nice size, no tub , the bathroom floor needed to be scrubbed around the toilet, the toilet was wobbly, the bed was comfy but the blanket had several holes and was threadbare. There is a wood roach problem and i seen about 5 or 6 but was told they aren't real "roaches". The little coffee maker was nice but creamer or sugar.I dont think. Breakfast was very minimal

Place is great, friendly, welcoming, clean and location is fantastic. This was my basecamp while driving around exploring the area and It could not have been better. Dawn is a great owner and host and will always be there if you need something.
