Hotel was nice and the room was great however there was no room service because of short staff by the time i walk from the restaurant to pick up my food and back to room it was cold. The ice machine wasn’t working. I had asked for a ground floor and was told there were no clean rooms I arrived at 6:30pm not sure there were no clean rooms. I had pick this hotel because it was close to the airport and i had a very early flight.

Burst water pipes from a storm in the lobby and restaurant, 1-3” of ice in parking lot (forget walking to the restaurant across the street without ice cleats), no heat in the restaurant with the inside temps in the 30’s, very limited restaurant hours, pool, sauna, hot tub all closed, room not as clean as they used to be per carpets and floors. New ownership was dealt a blow with a big ice storm but the place was worse two weeks later with no help in getting heat into the restaurant. Front desk personnel were nice and did the best they could under the circumstances. New owners need to step up to the plate.

No more free breakfast. Limited menu for dinner. Restaurant closed early on the day I checked in so had no where to dine..

Again this day was rather basic service was OK. I tried to check in just a little early like maybe 30 minutes and ended up having to wait an additional hour for rooms due to their lack of employees they were they were shortstaffed and that’s OK and nothing nothing wrong there. The room key however consistently stopped working. I had to get it re-image I think three times so that was a hassle to be honest because one time I had my arms full of groceries and work stuff and I had to go all the way back downstairs to get reimaged so I said that was kind of a hassle, I only had one towel so not a big deal but like I didn’t have another towel to like put dishes on. And honestly, I felt like asking would you know some of the people just did not seem very friendly. Overall, it was a fine day. There was no real issues. The room was extremely extremely nice like it was very nice, but I don’t think it was necessarily worth the money for the service that was provided, and the area that that is in, so overall, it was a good day. There was nothing that stood out about the service or the room excepted. It was a very very nice room.

Pool and hot tub are out of service, toilet in room broken with per in toilet(wondering how clean it really was). Manager does not listen very well when you tell him you sister is handicap and puts u on third floor anyway.

This place has completely given up. I know the property changed hands relatively recently, but I’m convinced they are just going to let it fall down so they can rebuild. The pool & hot tub are closed (one of the reasons I booked it!), there’s no daily housekeeping, only two bath towels, two washcloths and two hand towels even though the room sleeps 4.I saw at least two toenails (large, not like fingernails), and multiple hairs that were NOT mine on the sheets, in the shower, and on the floor, it’s one of those places where you don’t wanna touch anything because nothing looks clean or maintained. The window didn’t even fully close (or OPEN-a hazard, no??) so I could hear every airplane and all the traffic and people in the parking lot. The one thing that was acceptable was the bed and pillow comfort. Three sinks but only two trash cans (for about 350 sq.. ft.?) I’m fairly sure some people are *living* here too. The Elbe terms parking spaces are almost always occupied by employees or people who are clearly not veterans. Do NOT recommend.

Hotel staff dishonest, then blamed the “new management.” Made absolutely no effort to make things right. Room was really dirty, stained towels. When staff was approached they were unkind and focused on blame shifting. Insisted no management available to speak with.

This place is a relic. Stuck in the 80’s. The pool was closed, the elevator was closed, no coffee in lobby. Just a ghost town. Needs an update and, at this point, it’s kind of false advertising if you go off the pictures of all the amenities.

Shilo Inn has spacious comfortable rooms. The friendly staff is always quick to help with any concern or question. For some travelers looking for a newer look hotel, this may not fit. Too bad, you'll miss out on a great value stay!

Really awful as I reserved and have a confirmation for a two queen room and my husband and son got a one bedroom room. I’ve never had this problem before at the hotel said they got the reservations from hotel.com as a one bedroom King and I have a reservation from Hotels.com that says I have a reservation for a junior Suite 2 queen room.

If you book with third party, it doesn't let you know that they aren't doing room service at the moment. The pool and spa is closed due to new ownership. They will start to remodeling soon. Other than that os was clean, and worth the money.

Stopover after flight to pdx. Prompt and efficent complimentary shuttle from airport .The suite style rooms are big and comfortable with a seperate seating area table and sink. Our second stay after a short trip and the welcome was like comming home. Its been around for a while but everything was very clean and well maintained . we had a good nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. Excellent value

I was suprised that the hotel room was so nice The staff was so accommodating and nice whatever I asked for was answered and given to me right away very nice experience the pool and hot tub was not working temporarily but the gym was open and I was able to use it Great experience and convenient close to the airport

Luke-warm welcome, desk lady was cold to me, for not being older like her? TV would not turn on, no medical wheelchair, boyfriend had outpatient surgery. Used luggage trolley to get him to the room still groggy. Oh I almost forgot they only asked for my last name, not my identification card. Made me feel insecure about someone accidentally getting a key card to my room. If you l pay less than 100$ this is what you get.

It was terrible, stay there was dirt in the shower. Dirty depends in garbage. And the pool wasnt good because the skylight fell in. We paid 341.00 for 3 nights only stayed 2. Im calling for a refund. You guys said pool and hot worked and false info. Ugh.

They have a huge hole in the ceiling on the fourth floor and all I could smell was all the mold. Our room smelled musty as well. The staff did as much as they could to make it as nice as they could. Shilo should never have someone sleeping that close to mold.
