Situated in Shenandoah Valley, this attractive bed and breakfast for $117 per night is a great option for your next break. Professionally decorated studio loft apartment offers a king bed, quality linens, local art, free wifi and a beautiful view of House Mountain. Snacks and coffee are included in your stay, we have plenty of parking and a quiet, low-key, friendly atmosphere. Come for alumni weekend, parents weekend or events at the Virginia Horse Center. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed on the property and kenneled when left alone in loft ****FOR AN ADDITIONAL $45 PER NIGHT PET FEE, PAYABLE BY PAYPAL OR VENMO.***** Horses welcome too--contact for details about equine layovers. Please let us know in advance if you need the blow-up bed prepared. Please note there is no TV in the loft. *Side note: Laundry facility is not available at the moment

This loft was very cozy and comfortable; it had everything we needed: a small fridge, drinking water, a comfortable couch and bed. We particularly appreciated that there were bedside tables and lamps on both sides of the bed. We both like to read until we go to sleep and so often there is only one (or no) reading light, no place to put eyeglasses / a glass of water. Communication was very easy and quick. And Alice gave great suggestions for dinner and breakfast places in town. Her directions and info about her place were also quite clear, making arrival and our stay very easy. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

The loft sits centered on a delightful ranch with horses, chickens, ducks, and a friendly dog. We enjoyed the vista of tall trees and rolling hills from right outside the front door. Inside were very clean, cozy lodgings- we enjoyed the king-sized bed. It made spending the weekend in natural bridge state park a blast and we never had any issues during our stay. I would recommend this spot for a couple or small family looking for something a bit more personal and cozy while staying in the mountains of Virginia.

Was exactly as listed. Small and cozy loft where you'll see horses, ducks, chicken and even a friendly dog as you come up the driveway. Very peaceful and safe and Alice and family made us feel very welcome.

I was looking for a place to stay overnight off the beaten path to break up a trip. Alice was super friendly, as were her horses! The room was clean and well appointed, cool furniture and plenty of coffee. Idyllic, exceeded expectations. Thank you, Alice!

Perfect place for my horses and myself to layover going home from a show. Alice keeps the place very nice. Clean and comfortable. Easy access with horse trailer. I would definitely stay here again!

Very nice safe place for my friend and I to stay on a weekend trip. The place was really cute and very clean. Just a couple discrepancies: the listing said there were snacks, there was one small pack of crackers, the coffee maker didn't seem to work, and the towels didn't smell very good. Great atmosphere and I can't stress enough how clean and safe it felt. I would totally stay here again!

Easy to find, was lots of fun viewing the horses. Very roomy and clean. Perfect for a stop on our road trip. Only thing to keep in mind is that the wifi is not the strongest

Alice Bruno, the host, has created a great spot for an overnight stay or a hub for exploring the Lexington area. Rural, yet easy to find, the loft is clean, warm, well laid out, and spacious. There is a small flight of stairs to climb, but well lighted and with a useful handrail. Definitely would book again.

Super comfy and horse friendly for our overnight stay ! Alice had a nice sized stall ready for the Fell pony as we received needed rest after a 14 hr haul from Ocala. The loft apt is stocked with everything you need, including hand creams…We loved it‼️

Chose this property for a short overnight trip to the mountains. It did not disappoint. The property was comfortable and the surrounding area was picturesque. Alice, the host, was welcoming and available if we needed anything. I would recommend the property if you like quaint, comfortable, and quiet. Just an FYI, there is no TV, but we were not there to stay indoors!

This property was only 10 minutes from downtown Lexington, yet it was in a quiet, secluded area that was so dark at night you could see the Milky Way. Clean. Efficient. Wonderful.

Second time staying at Alice’s place & once again it was perfect! She’s a great hostess & her property is in a beautiful area close to downtown. Plenty of privacy, comfy bed, snacks & coffee add a nice touch. Our “go to” place any time we’re in the area (if we’re lucky enough to find it available).

The loft was very clean and the property was beautiful. The views of the mountains were very nice. We walked around the property and checked out the horses. Check in and out was a breeze. Only a few minutes drive to downtown Lexington. Great experience.

This is our 3rd stay here. We choose Alice's farm loft because it's peaceful and homey yet minutes from bustling downtown. We are delighted it is consistently clean & comfortable. We enjoyed the cozy home quilts with the cold change of weather. So wonderful to stay here.

Property was just as advertised. We were in town for VMI Ring Figure. It was an easy and short drive from town to this working horse farm. Host provided snacks, water, and a good assortment of coffee for the morning. No hassle check in/check out. Clean, welcoming space.

Due to an improperly installed window AC, when we arrived the studio apartment was infested with about thirty stink bugs on the ceiling, in light fixtures, and on the windows. I tried to call the owner who did not answer. My husband found her on the property. She left a hand vacuum on the porch outside--without coming in or talking to us--for us to get rid of the bugs ourselves. I found a relative downstairs in the garage who helped us. My husband stuffed paper towels around the window unit to prevent more bugs from entering. We would not stay on this property, again and we cannot recommend it.

This room was incredibly welcoming and a great place to crash for the night. It was wonderful to wake up in the morning, peek out of the window, and see horses playing/nipping at each other. Very comfortable space! Thank you!

It was nice to be in my own element. I have a paraplegic dog and this was as easy as it comes. The large loft is adorable, scanty in luxury, which is what I love about it. Has all the amenities. Wifi was great. My only suggestion would be a smart television with the apps people use. I’m absolutely fine without it, but some aren’t.
