We spent a week here with four other families - a big group of friends, 10 adults and 10 kids (ages 2-12). It was a wonderful house for us! Highlights were the pool, the hot tub, the big backyard, the fire pit, the ample living space, and the fact that everything was well kept and in good condition. The pool was really spectacular, and it was great to be able to move easily from indoors to the pool deck, especially so we could keep an eye on the kiddos. The downsides: 1) the bed allocation is a little awkward, so we couldn’t split the kids from the adult couples as much as would have been optimal; 2) the beds are fine, but not especially comfy, and the sheets slide around on the mattresses; 3) the kitchen is only minimally stocked with cooking gear - we had to buy a bunch of disposable roasting pans and pizza pans, for instance, and there was only one spatula (maybe two); and finally 4) the oven is extremely ineffective on its normal setting, but works decently well on the convection setting. Also: there were no plastic plates or cups for kids - although the only people who broke glasses during our stay were adults. :) None of those things hampered our enjoyment of the property. It’s spacious, light-filled, and an overall fabulous place for a large group. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, the house was clean when we arrived and being cleaned again as we left, and Eugene was responsive when we had questions. We’d happily rent this place again.

Overall, I would rent this house again. It was roomy, comfortable and had a beautiful yard with a nice, clean pool. There are a lot of fun things to do just a few minutes away (Kalahari, Camel Beach, Skiing, Gambling, Really fun brewery with outdoor games and white water rafting). We took advantage of it all. The "outdoor room" was a great hangout with the large bar and plenty of seating. I think it is a good price for what you get. If these few things were fixed/improved, I would have given 5 stars: Need more comfortable mattresses (or a mattress topper), cotton sheets should be standard, the oven is 50 degrees off, you may need a better oven or get it fixed, have a linen closet with extra towels...one towel per guest and 1 hand towel in each 3 bathrooms was not enough for a house this large, have cleaning staff do a deep cleaning (ie: dust the headboards and clean areas that are very dusty that do not get cleaned each week).

We chose this house for our annual Pocono vacation with our kids and grandkids because it was roomy and had a pool … and it worked out perfectly ! There were 15 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone to be together, or to separate. Everything was exactly as explained in the listing, the kitchen was well stocked, and it was all very clean and organized. We all loved the pool and hot tub … and the game room was perfect for days when the weather did not cooperate. The fire pit was great for making s’mores, and the outdoor lighting was just wonderful for evening swims. Eugene was quick to respond to my questions and inquiries and was a pleasure to work with … and when we had a problem with the wifi due to a bad storm, he made sure it was resolved as soon as possible. It is such a lovely property and very conveniently located to grocery stores and restaurants … we would definitely come back again for another vacation!

We had a great time here! The house is well sectioned with different zones for people to spend time together and also have space. Pool and hot-tub were a big hit and the yard was great for afternoon activities. 10/10 will stay here again!

The house is fine but not luxury. We spent two nights here for a reunion and all ten of us agreed it was a lot of money for what it is. The sheets are polyester and everyone woke up sweating. For a luxury house, nicer cotton sheets and bedding would be appropriate. The stairs to the second floor area cannot be to code. They are very narrow and I would not recommend for elders/children. The stove did not work well and was hard to use. The house provided ample space and bedrooms but that is about all.

Just wish each room had their own bathroom. The Bar area was cold & the roof was leaking . I was informed it'll be fixed in March due to the weather. I & my family think it's overpriced but it is a beautiful house

We had an awesome time at this location! Everything was clean and Eugene was super efficient in answering any texts quickly. We were a party of 16 and had plenty of room. Only thing we didn’t realize was the bar area was outdoors so it was cold but we mostly hung out in the living room area. Everything was great!

Our stay over the holiday 2022 began with our pulling into the unplowed/icing driveway as the cleaning staff was finishing their smoke break outside. There was a full bag of salt on the front steps for the driveway, which I guess was the hint that this was a DIY project for the tenant. Upon entering the the "estate" the smell of weed covered by Pine-Sol was thick. The five families with kids poured in and took a first look at the sleeping arrangements and began rolling stuff in. The "three season room" had doors left wide open, assumably to further clear the weed from the air and was leaking from the tin roof. The bar area's "kitchen" had open gas lines with no stove, but a hood and a sink that was not connected. The main living area was large with oversized leather furniture, no pillows or decorations as if they would be broken or stolen. Light bulbs were missing or burned out throughout the home, the floors were dirty and worn and several garments of clothing (underwear, socks) were found around the inside and outside of the house. There were two fireplaces one inside the living space with broken fire tools and the other in the "three season room", which was not heated except the fireplace. No firewood for either though :(. The kitchen looked updated with a dirty, oversized commercial gas range. Once we tried to turn on burners, they did not work. Later we realized the gas from the burners was being blocked by tin pans around them to catch any messes (major fire hazard FYI). The rest of the kitchen was missing normal cooking tools and had a half broken toaster. The remainder of the house was pretty basic sleeping quarters that felt like a fraternity house or summer camp with heating elements that did not function (space heaters as supplement). Game room was more of the same. Outside was a spacious yard covered in snow with chairs turned over and partially buried in that snow. The hot tub was not fully filled and the hose was shut off from inside. The bathrooms were partially updated with a soaker tub that looked nice in one. Others had issues with hot water being reversed or not lasting long. Overall, the house was livable. It was not memorable. "Luxury" and "Estate" are not words I would use to describe this place. "Deferred Maintenance", "Overpriced" maybe... The owner did take a call from us, but offered a very small rebate considering the premium price we paid to stay.

The property was great! We enjoyed our stay and the house was largely spacious and accommodating for our family. This property is best suited in the less colder months. We spent a lot of money on fire wood for heat and because the house was so large, the heat from the fire place didn’t travel well. I am referring to the main section of the home. The other section with the game room was well heated. Space heaters were provided, but didn’t provide adequate coverage. We were very cold in the house the first 2 days. After that, the heat kicked in and warmed the house better. If there’s a way to warm the home prior to arrival for cold weather, this would be a great benefit. Other than the cold, we all loved the home and enjoyed our stay.

I would give this property a 3-3.5. The pros: It is a gorgeous, large, fenced-in property. We had 23 adults (25-33 year-olds) and 1 small dog. It didn’t feel cramped at all. The game room was great, and the living room was another fun place to watch some sports and hang out. The property was largely clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensil essentials (except a can opener). The location is also a short driving distance from everything you’d need. The cons: It rained while we were there, and the outside bar area was leaking everywhere. While it is an enclosed area, it was drenched. The ceiling drips at the picnic tables and the bar. We had a few people slip. The fireplace also wasn’t working out there, or if it was, we couldn’t figure it out and so we reached out to the host. He said he would check with maintenance and never got back to us during our stay. We purchased firewood and ended up not being able to use it. The bathroom above the game room’s shower handle is reversed (hot was cold and vice versa). The ovens in the kitchen didn’t get warmer than 280 degrees. We ended up having to microwave a lot of meals. The mattresses were also so thin that many of us had trouble sleeping. Overall, it is a great property for a large group. We stayed a few days. I’m not sure if we would book this property again in the Winter. Maybe for a Summer trip.

Really exceptional rental. It accommodated our group of 18 men for a bachelor party. The backyard is way bigger than looks, ample space for activities. The house is put together wonderfully. They’ve earned my recommendation!

We were 13 women in our 60’s and 70’s. It is a wonderful home, very large and spacious, plenty of room to spread out on your own . The only problem we encountered was there is a lot of different levels in the rooms and no steps or railings. . Also outside , none of the decks have railings. The house is beautiful and everything you will need for your trip is there. Plenty of bedrooms , the game room and bar area with fireplace is amazing. Definitely worth booking , you won’t regret it .

Great layout for spending time with a large group. Pool was heated and clean. We loved the fire pit, the indoor bar area, large living room and the playroom. The air conditioner kept the house nice and cool and there was good water pressure. The large oven was great for reheating food and they had two refrigerators! The only cons would be the amount of random steps between every area (it was a bit difficult for grandma and her walker to get around), some of the mattresses were uncomfortable/thin and the house was not very clean on some areas. However, the counters, toilets, showers and beds, linens and towels ( basically the things that really matter) were extremely clean. The bed sheets and towels smelled freshly washed. Overall we did enjoy very much the stay and had a great time during our family reunion. Already looking to go back!

My family (11 adults, 8 children) had a wonderful time at this home. The layout really gave everyone a chance to do their own thing and we had everything we needed at the house. Eugene (the host) really went out of his way to quickly respond to any questions we had, even on the weekend. Would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

We had 16 family members 10 adults, 4 teens and two kids who enjoyed every aspect of our stay at his home The home was cleaned thoroughly before we arrived and every room was as described in the ad. The game room was used day and night with ping pong and pool tournaments, and there was ample space to gather as a group or to escape for some quiet reading time. The pool was beautiful and the yard large enough for different games. Kitchen was well equipped and the two refrigerators were appreciated for s ask the hood we had. Eugene was very helpful and answered all emails quickly. Home is 10 minutes from grocery stores, shopping and Dunkin’ Donuts . Lots of activities nearby too! I would highly recommend this home for any large function that you might have. It was wonderful!!!

Stayed at the house for a week the family really really enjoyed their time there . The house is beautiful and it is exactly like you see it on the website. We had a few issues but the owner took care of them right away. Would definitely go back and stay there.

We had a very good experience at this house. My family and I enjoyed everything the house had to offer. If at any point we had issues (mostly on my part), I was able to contact the owner and resolve the problem. A must stay!!!

I was lucky enough to have my 30th Birthday party at this wonderful location with all my friends and family! Even with a full property, there was plenty of room for everyone in the house and the large stove made sure that we could cook food in bulk for the large crowd! We enjoyed spending time in the pool and hot tub, as well as playing games together on the many tables in the house.

We were a group of friends and family! We enjoyed staying here so much. Especially our parents. It was such a spacious house and we really didn't want to leave the house because there was so much to do and simply relax. The only issue is that the floors are SUPER dirty-- couldn't walk around bare feet. Also the steps are tricky. Have to remember there's this one random step. We had someone fall and sprain their ankle since they forgot. Overall, Deff recommend this house.

This property was exactly what we were looking for! Great house with tons of space and activities. It’s close to camelback for the skiers in our group, and close enough to shops, etc for the non skiers. We had a great weekend!

The house was large, clean, and just an overall great space! We had a wonderful time celebrating my 30th birthday! The owner was very responsive and made everything so easy! Would absolutely love to stay here again next year! Only small complaint was the beds were very firm. So if you are used to sleeping on a softer bed bringing a mattress topper or sleeping bag etc would help!

We had a wonderful time at this house. This would be an incredible spot for summer adventures. We went for a family Christmas celebration, and enjoyed it as well. (Please note for the cons below, we did not reach out to Eugene, he may be willing to adjust things. It's worth checking with him as this place was really great.) PROS: - Plenty of room and beds for everyone. Comfortable mattresses. - Multiple portable heaters, very helpful since the house is so large and take a while to warm up. - Plenty of kitchen supplies - pots/pans/cutting boards/etc - Amazing heated game room - Living room fireplace - lots of eating space, 2 dining room tables and island - Good wifi throughout the house - walking distance to a beautiful lake - huge back yard, lots of space for kids to roam. CONS - There isn't really a comfortable seating area in the winter. The main living space has very low couches (not comfortable or elderly friendly). There is a small couch area in the basement, but it smells of mildew and isn't welcoming. We ended up having most family conversations at the dining room table. - There is a great TV, that is really hard to watch. It's far away from the couches and in a very awkward corner. - There is a linen fee, but for towels you are only provided large towels, no wash cloths or extras for the hot tub. - The new oven takes a long time to heat, and the new stovetop is very hard to light. - It's very much a rental only, so no extras to be found such as pens/paper/lighter/foil. Make sure to bring everything you need.
