This was the perfect place for us because we went on two different excursions close to here. The room was big enough for two couples and it was quiet and had a kitchen. It had a pool, but we were too busy to use it. It didn't offer breakfast.

My sister, niece and I had a great stay in the two queen suite with kitchenette. The staff was very warm and welcoming. We were given an extra hour to check out with no fee, which was much appreciated as our boat tour went till 11:15 am. We would have liked a toaster in the room, but everything else was perfection!

Very clean recently renovated hotel. Best of limited choices in the area. Pay attention to check in notice as later check ins are accommodated by putting your key on a bulletin board.

Large room. Limited lighting. Kitchenette without toaster or much of anything to make it worthwhile. Very basic limited TV channels. Helpful staff. Central location.

This is a great place, handy and well-kept. Within walking distance of some really nice restaurants. I will stay here over and over again. No question.
Note for those who are handicapped or traveling with someone who is:
Tell them when booking as it may limit your choice of room-type. Check-in is on the 2nd floor, accessible only by stairs. There is a ramp up to the suites. It is in the back of the hotel, off of a gravel parking lot.

It was a wonderful stay!
If you want your room cleaned you have to explicitly ask for it.
It is written in the room, but if you do not see this, your room will stay as is.

Wonderful reception and housekeeping. Safe and walkable town. Great restaurants. Booked kayak tour through hotel. Matthew,our guide, was friendly and informative. Great place for nature lovers. Unfortunately, our room’s remodel was unfinished (ours was the only one unfinished). It was minor, but ……

I liked the location close to stores and restaurants. The town itself is full of friendly people. A very pleasant stay. But i was upset because my Expedia app told me that the place i was staying had a lower rate than i paid. It seems i paid more because I booked ahead thru Expedia. Next time I won't book through Expedia and just go straight to the property. I was also unable to use my AAA discount.

We loved this motel. The only negative is that there is no elevator, so we had to lug our luggage up the stairs, in the rain.

It was a lovely adventure arriving after a rainfall and waking the next morning to a tidal surge surrounding this very nice hotel and flooding all the streets in Evergreen City. We were stranded for most of a day inside our hotel room without food until the water subsided as the hotel had no provisions that could be purchased. Not being from FL we had no idea what being marooned in a hotel room surrounded by lord water was like

There are limited options when staying in everglades city.
Pros: rooms could fit our family of 6 comfortably, one of the few options for staying in everglades city, location is convenient to everglades national park, clean, staff is nice, easy after hours check in
Cons: one bed was squeaky, the bed squeaking made it hard to sleep, the flooring stopped short under the air unit (probably damaged in storm and repairs not completed??), baseboards werent finished in bathroom exposing holes (again-probably storm damage and uncompleted repairs)

It’s a clean and comfortable place to stay if visiting Everglades National Park. I wouldn’t call this a 4 or 5 star property but it definitely was comfortable for the very limited choices that were available in the area. If I would rate it, I would say that it is a 2-3 star property. The town is very small but it has everything you would need around it. I would return if I visited this area again.

The room was very clean and spacious. Debbie was very helpful in giving excellent directions on checking in late after front desk was closed.

The building and rooms look like they were fairly new. The pictures such what the rooms look like. The building and rooms have a dorm or barracks feel to them. The photo of the pool is in the hotel next door, The Ivey House. Probable under same management so they let you use their pool. The pictures of the rooms were taken with the lights on during the daytime. We wish it was that bright. They may have switched out the bulbs with dimmer bulbs. But, our room was could have used more lighting. On a plus side, the rooms were clean and well maintained.

Amazing place to stay. Suites were very roomy and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Everything was neat and clean and updated. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Pros - The rooms are very roomy and were clean. In addition, the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Cons - The outside of the hotel seems to be falling apart and it gives it a bad appearance. In addition, the beds and pillows are horrible.

Convient location for fishing charter. No continental breakfast. There was evidence of mold in room looks like it was in several spots and tried to cover it up with bleach

Very quiet at night, rooms are nice and clean. Best place in the world for a fisherman visiting Chokoloskee area for some Everglades fishing!
