TRU hotels are nice like Hamptons.

Travelled through town taking my parents back home to visit their siblings, kids, and grandkids. We stayed in a first floor accessible room and my parents were thrilled with hardwood floors, the walk in showers, and the plush beds. My dad LOVED seeing a community pool table in the lobby and would have played if kids weren’t already playing. Highly recommend

The stay was great! Only thing was the space between mattress and frame needed to be vacuumed. But would recommend staying there.

The rooms were really small. The room wasn’t cleaned well, there was hair in the shower before we used it. There was a plastic fork left by the window. Our blinds were broken so we couldn’t shut them all the way. The batteries in our TV remote were dead when we got there.

Our air wasn't working and when we let the front desk know they sent a service guy up right away and since it was going to take time to fix they got us another room right next door so it was an easy move.
Breakfast was good every morning.

The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest but everything else was great. They were short handed so there wasn’t always an attendant at the front desk but left a message about how to reach them if you need them.

The hotel was very noisy all night long and kids were running and knocking on our doors at 3 and 4 am. We probably won't stay again.

Nice property. Large room, bed was comfy, Large Tv, Should be a smart tv for streaming. Front desk clerk was a snob, since when should they give advice like they know more than you. She took the wrong customer service course. It was probably named," the customer is wrong, the employee is right.."

The room was filthy! There was hair and dust everywhere and the bed platform was filthy. It appears that someone had puked and no one cleaned it up. Had on white socks and they very dirty from just walking around in the room.
The sheets are questionable they had even been changed. If they had - housekeeping should have seen the mess on the platform area.
Did report to the front desk and all they did is write it down and say sorry. No suggestions about changing rooms or any money compensation for the inconvenience.

We love the Tru hotels. They are simple and more European - meaning more practical than plush. After all, we go on a trip to do things, not stay inside our hotel all day!
One thing is that the Tru breakfasts seem to be less and less. A couple of years ago, even through COVID, there were more selections. Now it seems like they're cutting back on options.
Otherwise, it was another great stay!

Loved the room - It was clean and modern. I had a king bed and was alone in the room, so the size was fine for me but might be a little tight for a couple. The use of shelving and wall pegs made storage quite efficient. The refrigerator was a bonus.

Hotel wasn't bad, but there are no microwave in the rooms witch made it a huge inconvenience for us. Had to order in or go out to eat. No coffee maker either. They want to go down to the lobby to get your coffee. They might have had a microwave in lobby to use but thats worthless when your on the upper floors at the other end of the biilding. There are ice machines but no ice bucket in the room. We probly won't ever stay at any Tru hotel again.
