A great stay at the dormer hotel bed, and breakfast was our first time. It met our expectations and more.

The room was very nice. The breakfast each day was excellent. The hosts were very pleasant.

Breakfast had only one option and we waited 30 minutes for that to be brought out.

The Dormer House was so authentically Victorian that we felt transported to another time. Our room was clean, beautiful, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even provided beach chairs and beach towels. One of the best things about the Dormer House is the incredible food: breakfast was delicious and afternoon tea treats were to die for. We really enjoyed our stay.

We’ve stayed at quite a few B&Bs & expected more from a B&B in Cape May which is known for their beautiful homes & hospitality. We booked lat minute & should have been more cautious to find anything available in middle of high season. Check I. Was impersonal, the room was basic without comforts. Linens/pillows, etc were a let down & the bed was very unstable. The list goes on including lack of comfort in grandmoms very outdated home. Breakfast was less than exciting but what was completely WRONG was the lack of help with a food allergy. I notified Celiac disease 2 weeks ahead. No substitutions were made, just do without. Now imagine for the rest of your life you have to do without & everyone has the attitude like this place? How would you feel? Celiac is a disease not a choice don’t make people suffer more for no excuse other than lack of care.

Great staff and even better location! Really convenient also that they have their own parking lot as parking is a challenge!

I liked the Victorian ambiance, the breakfast and afternoon tea, the convenient location, the friendly staff, the clean room with a comfortable bed, etc.

A great B & B. Very nice hot breakfast with home-baked goods. The staff is very accommodating. Good location! They supply beach chairs and towels. I would definitely stay there again. Thanks Nancy for making our stay so enjoyable.

Very clean nice space. We stayed in the Cottage, was a little disappointed that Expedia’s pictures weren’t accurate and it was not the room with the jetted tub. Only odd thing was that the room has the tiniest garbage can (in a full kitchen) and we were only equipped with two towels and one roll of toilet paper for a 4 night stay. Having a parking lot in this area was amazing. Would stay again!

Was a beautiful and relaxing stay! Very comfortable accommodations and so close to both shopping areas as well as beach area. Parking on site was so helpful as parking throughout town was slight or needed to be paid. Breakfast was included and was freshly made! Definitely felt like a home away from home can’t recommend Dormer House enough!!

The property was clean and quaint. Breakfast was perfect. The cookies were delicious.

There is no coffee available only one hot water pot. We don't mind checking ourselves in but we would like coffee. Also there was no ice available so if you want to make yourself a drink that's out

Easy parking, great breakfast. Room location was not listed on the site. Room entry was outside of main entrance using a different (steep with uneven stairs) staircase. Dust accumulation on harder to reach surfaces in room.

The Dormer House was very charming & quaint. Our guest room was very well appointed & bright. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful sun porch where our delicious breakfast was served. Check-in was very easy, especially since we arrived later in the evening on the first night of our stay. The staff was ver friendly & welcoming. We would definitely look to stay here again when we travel back to Cape May.

We love it here! A little outdated but it’s an old Victorian Bed & Breakfast. Breakfast is great and the rates are very reasonable. Nancy, the Innkeeper, is so warm and welcoming! We wouldn’t go anywhere else!

The Dormer House is a beautiful place for a get away to Cape May. Victorian House charm… clean….comfortable room On-site free parking- Amazing breakfast….afternoon teas with cookies saved for you in a bag with your room number! Close to town and the beach!

Great location and on site parking which is a big plus, easy walking distance to Washington Square mall and places to eat. Rarely used the car. Our hostess Nancy was very warm and inviting providing good restaurant options and things to see. Breakfast was excellent.
