Mediocre. We’ve been staying at this location for years and I see a decline. No housekeeping service the first day. Barebones. Bed is hard and pillows are mismatched. This hotel is sufficient- no frills.

From being greeted by Dave at the reception desk to the courteous Valet Servicemen, we were delighted with our stay. Your complimentary breakfast was well stocked and replenished constantly by your great staff. Housekeeping was excellent. We highly recommend Hampton Inn & Suites Portland Pearl District. Location is wonderful! Thank you!

Clean and comfortable, superb location to Burnside and other attractions, great complimentary breakfast spread, friendly staff. We especially loved the check out at noon so we could enjoy an easy, no rush morning in Portland.

We didn't care for such a late check-in, coffee maker in room was useless, microwave was almost on the floor, very inconvenient, especially for elderly guest. Not enough cups were provided. Pull out bed sheets had not been changed and had debris on them, we had to ask for new sheets and pillows, not enough trash cans. Elevator floors were wet from pool users and someone slipped. Food at breakfast was poor quality and messy. Parking fees were outrageous

Place was clean and staff was great. Nice that everything is in walking distance. Little market and restaurants and bar's. Indoor pool was nice caue Ihad it all to myself😁😁.

The hotel itself is clean and customer service is top notch. Breakfast is ok but it takes a while before some items are replenished. My issue is the a/c in our room. It is LOUD. Which made it a little bit harder to have a good sleep.

Nice hotel, clean and safe with spacious rooms. The hot water takes forever to run to the shower. It took nearly 5 to 10 minutes to heat the water up. Otherwise you’re taking the cold shower. Also, the hotel Wi-Fi was down for a few days. I’m sure it was just an anomaly, but it was a nice stay overall.

We chose this hotel because of the pool and were not disappointed. The water was a good temperature for our small children and they had the best time. Lots of seating too. Our room was a great size, clean and extra pillows & blankets were waiting for us, as requested. The staff was great and the hotel was secure. Will come back when in Portland again.

We had a really good stay overall. The pool is very kid friendly though the level of chlorine was very high. We really enjoyed breakfast except for our last morning where the line was super long and every time we got up to the food it was empty. But the other 2 mornings we had no issues. The valet parking was very easy and quick. It is a good location.

It was a very bad experience there. We paid for the valet parking, but the rear glass of our car was broken. We travelled in Portland without a car for one day. They paid for the glass, but did not pay the Uber expenses. However, they promised they would pay both. We tried to reach out them by the phone number provided. No one answered. Never this hotel in my life time.

This hotel is A LOT nicer than expected. It has a nice restaurant. Overall it’s a great choice if you are staying downtown. Downtown is a bit sketchy but if you have to stay here this hotel is in the best possible location & is nice. Great Value👍

The location is attractive in the middle of downtown Portland. The pool and continental breakfast seemed better for families and kids. Overall, the stay was pleasant and acceptable for us Seniors...!!!

The lady who manages this hotel in the evening is amazing! She helped me reprogram the air conditioner to get it cooler (which I need to sleep). She was just smart and resourceful and made my stay so much better! I’ve been to this Hampton more than 10 times - always great!

We don't stay in hotels very often at all, we typically can't afford it. So that tells you our budget and mindset when hotel shopping! For my husband's 28th birthday we got tickets to a show at the Moda Center and wanted a hotel that met all our needs. I searched for great price, location close to the public transit and close to the Moda Center, free breakfast and preferably an onsite bar/restaurant. The Hampton in the Pearl District was a total delight!! Met all of our hopes and dreams, twice over. The staff treated us like important people. We decided to splurge on valet parking which was so worth it since we planned on using public transit to get around. You needed your room key to use the elevator which made me feel more safe. The restaurant had amazing food and fun drinks. Our room was so quiet, we felt like the only ones there. The free breakfast was crazy good! We've never had such a great free breakfast at a hotel. Overall, The Hampton in the Pearl District was a big part of what made our Portland stay enjoyable and relaxing. 😁

We stayed during an ice storm - tons of families and pets there in really stressful conditions and the staff was so nice and understanding. Some staff stayed overnight in order to be there the next day. Also, the property is really clean!

They were amazing. Our Broadway play was canceled, and we were able to reschedule it for the next day, so they extended our checkout time so we could get ready at the hotel. They also allowed us to leave our cars in the valet parking until after the performance for no extra fee. They were so accommodating.
