The front desk worker was very friendly and accommodating, but that's where the positive things stopped. I expected a budget hotel. However, while I wouldn't say my room was "dirty," it was not tidy. Also, there are no hairdryers provided, so just be aware. There was no trash can in the room, the tub faucet leaked, the walls are paper thin. There is no carpeting in the hallway, so you hear everything when people pass by. Large home-sized trash bins were located in the hallway just outside my door for some reason, and they were filled up with trash. Also, they advertise breakfast, but the only thing provided was packets of instant oatmeal and hot water. I have a high tolerance for budget hotels, but I wish I hadn't stayed here.

The hotel is under remodeling. No continental breakfast as promised. No maid service. Limited staff. Workers all over the hotel. Is going to be nice when completed. For now, I would not recommend it.

This is a tired and bare dones property, but well located for my visit to Madison. Plusses: Clean, inexpensive, ample parking, near attractions, interstate and services. Minuses: This is a run down property. Paper thin walls, no amenities except two vending machines, no clerk at checkout, tired mattress (but clean) , deadbolt wouldn't lock, hvac and bathroom fan very loud, halls echo. I would stay there again, but not with family. It was clean.

I liked my room. It was clean and modern. I never got woken up by noise. I did deduct one star though, because the pillows were about as thick as cotton candy.

Staff wasn’t there stood at the counter for like 15 mins it gave me a number to call but no one answered very unprofessional.

If wasn’t clean the plummeting was back up.

Horrible experience. The hotel is run down!

Staff at front were great. Looks great from front lobby. However, the property is rundown. Roach ran across floor. Room had no TV remote. Checking in room toilet had a poop in it due to extremely low water pressure. Bathroom door in 243 doesnt close. Not worth 81 a night.

This was advertised as higher quality than it actually was. This was dirty smelly and nothing matched, was clean, or without need of repair. The mattress was a sinker and the bathroom was unfinished.

Room 202 whole place need to be remodeled

the rooms wasn't ready, there was only 2 people on staff the lady at the front was multi-tasking at the best of her ability , doing check-ins, front desk , taking in cleaning supplies , housekeeping and check outs etc.. I cancelled my room and searched for other available rooming elsewhere

They need to fix on the wet floors no ice just alot

We didn’t have any clean towels and after asking for some we were told they’d be brought to the room in an hour. We asked twice. No clean towels ever came. There was black mold on the shower head. It was loud and you could hear every word from next door and in the hallways. There’s no locks on the doors. We had to ask for a remote to the tv and were given one that didn’t even go to the tv. We wasted money because we didn’t even stay. There is no housekeeping there at all.

The clerk put us in one room, well we went to said room and beds were stripped and bedding laying out in the floor. So told the clerk about it. He gave us another room and keys. We took keys and 3 hours later came back to what we thought was our room and the door would not unlock. I then after some confusion tried to open the door down from that thinking we made a mistake. The keycard opened that room and it was a totally different room. I panic and to ask the clerk what room was ours, why our keycards opened a room we knew wasn’t ours, and where is our stuff because I left my very expensive insulin in our room. The clerk ran back with us and said well your room is the original dirty room with no bedding. We told clerk no it isn’t we were moved. I panicked and said where is my stuff. So he opens one room the room that opens and I said that not my room. He opens the other room and there was our stuff and thankfully my insulin. He said he would make key cards and return after we asked. He never did so my husband went and got the keycards. Well one card worked and one didn’t. So it’s very noisy and people keep walking Down the hall loudly in the middle of the night I can’t sleep. We did get towels. No trash can. And no mattress pads. My comforter is a down insert I believe. Tv is snowy. Air conditioning works. Fridge works but these kids needs to do better.

The most pleasant thing about the property was the entrance the room had no running hot water the microwave was filthy the bathroom sink and tub were dirty the floors seemed to be under construction it was a horrible experience.

The property was like a trash, Specially my room. The bathroom door did not even close properly. When I asked them to repair, they said it’s just you alone living so why do you need to close the door. Shower did not had shower curtain. Room was very humid, even floors were sticky and towels were also not clean, had stains.

No toilet paper or towels in the room. Went back 2nd day for towels since none were brought to the room and was told again no towels, sorry in the laundry. Begged for a single towel, Mason found one. Hallways were hot so until we put a towel under the door our room struggled to stay cool.

Changed rooms several times. Some rooms had broken tv, missing door latches for safety, faulty or leaking appliances, missing shower curtains and curtain rod, no pillows or bed spread, paint drips in shower, sink did not have running water, the entrance door which is suppose to be key card entry only did not even latch or close completely so anybody could come in, the entire place smelled heavily of marijuana, the gym was closed, and I am sure there are a few other things I am forgetting to mention.

This was the worst hotel ive ever seen in my life.

No power

This is more of a halfway house than a hotel.

Friendly staff however not the cleanest place or most serene. Renovations going on everywhere so a lot of traffic, dirt and dust being tracked in from every which way, multiple fire alarms beeping needing new batteries, and side access doors are loud upon entry and exit.

If check in is at two front desk shouldn’t make customers leave and come back an hr later to check in

You get what you pay for. The front desk attendant was actually good. I had to move rooms because the noise from the bathroom vent was horrendous even when it was turned off. No pillowcases on the pillows and no remote control for the TV initially. Went to another room. People talking in the hallways all night long. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Never again.

It appears to me that this is a very old motel that they are trying to re-do with minimum assets. No microwave or frig as advertised. No maid service, only one lamp in the room - and it had a low wattage bulb, you have to turn in your used towels to the desk to receive clean ones. A lot of outlets don't work. I can only rate it as fair, and they get that high because the employees were all great!
