Honestly, I would stay here again, i’m traveling for work and only had one night there, but I was able to get the rest I needed and had a great place to eat right around the corner

The only reason I did not give five stars for the condition is as you can imagine this is an old established property that's been in business in a small mountain community for many years. They simply don't have the resources to update and remodel like some of the fancier big name chains. If the Hilton is what you are expecting when you come to Challis, well than better you just stay home in the city. This place was just fine for me! Clean, quiet, and comfortable along with owners who are extremely friendly and helpful.

Very dark room with poor lighting. Very soft,worn mattress. Shower did have lots of hot water. Coffee packets in room were already opened. Rug was disgusting

Motel dated but clean, quiet and comfortable our top needs met. The restaurant is convenient and has typical family meals. The veggie omelette for breakfast was delicious!

The room was huge. Need to update some and pit out towels for cleaning dishes. Need a fan as bedroom is hot and living room A/C ia way too small.

Extremely dirty carpet, hand prints all over the walls, and the worst part was the cooler stopped cooling in the middle of the night, in August.
With this being said, we were looking for a reasonably priced place that was easy to find, with a hopefully comfortable and clean bed...no bed bugs, clean sheets, and bouncy but pretty comfortable.

Staff was great and the place was clean. Just be warned it is old, smells a bit musty and the beds are extremely creaky and not very comfortable. The place looks like it has not been updated since the 70’s.

Old-time Vibe. The motel is rustic and has an excellent restaurant. It was clean and the staff were very helpful.

This town is small. But very nice. We chose the most updated room according to the website and it’s wonderful!!!! The owner was super helpful too!

Beautiful view of surrounding mountains from 2 nd floor room on the end and pleasant staff. Room is older but clean and bed comfortable. Carpet in open hallway very worn. Perfect for our one-night stay and visit to nearby hot springs

Nice place. Needs new carpet. It was kinda gross. Room was clean though and we would stay there again. Restaurant food is very good and the people were wonderful.

Gave us the key to an already occupied room. No dead bolts on the door. AC unit near floor wasn't able to cool the room off. No fan in the bathroom and window wouldn't open. Room needed a deep cleaning.

The place was very, very, clean. The people very nice and helpful with what you needed plus directions to various places in the area. The restaurant clean and great food. It was very quiet. A older motel but kept up. I would definitely stay there again.
