We have been staying here for years. Super friendly owners, great rates and conveniently located
1.0
The only good thing about this place is its location. The rooms are old, bathroom shower with mold on walls, old bathroom, noise street. Definitely a 5/10
4.0
Not a bad room but beds have soft edges making it hard to sit on and bathroom is extremely small. Other than that the location and price are good for visiting the old town area.
2.0
Walls are paper thin you can hear traffic and next door rooms. Room smell dusty
4.0
No outlets in bathroom . Coffee not so great . AC very loud !
But bed comfy ! Easy access to walk to town ! But overall great little motel
4.0
Quiet and clean. Nice to be able to walk to Old Town and leave the car. Good stay.
4.0
Perfect location for my trip! Everything you need within walking distance. Room is clean with all the basic amenities and comfortable beds.
Walls are thin, so be aware of your neighbors!
4.0
The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. It’s across the bridge from the historical centre, but it’s a short walk. The room was clean and fresh. I would stay there again.

Great room, great location.
5.0
Clean room with excellent daily cleaning. Friendly, helpful desk personnel. Excellent location just across pedestrian bridge from Old Town and Fort.
2.0
An older hotel, but well run and well-maintained. Just over the bridge from the historic district in a very easy walk.
2.0
Even though the room was small it was comfortable and served the purpose we needed without breaking the bank. It was clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The only drawback was that it was a cold rainy weekend and there was no heat in the room but some extra blankets at night did the trick.
2.0
Nothing fancy but well maintained motel. Clean, comfortable, convenient and helpful and friendly staff. Walked across Lions Bridge to get into tourist activities. Price was reasonable. Candlelight across the street had good food.
3.0
Wonderful location if you want to walk right over bridge to old city or short drive to the beach. Clean and friendly staff.

Excellent customer service. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. This is not my first time staying here and it definitely won't be my last.

On driving up, my first impression was that my GPS took me to the wrong place. What I saw was a 1950's style row motel. I pulled over checked, and yes, we were where we were supposed to be.
Checking in the manager was very helpful, very friendly and explained things. For the most part.
The room had been updated, clean, tiled floor (carpet is usually dirty, I prefer tile). The bed was sort of lopsided, linens clean. Turning on the heat was a challenge to get it working. A window heat cooling unit with the loudest fan I've ever heard even on the lowest speed. Just under the DBs of my lawn mower. Running the hot water for 4-5 minutes got actual hot water.
In order to sleep, we tried warming up the room, this is in Florida, and shutting the heat off because of the racket when it kicks on and off. It's not possible to sleep. The building must have no insulation, we were cold in 15 minutes. I can sleep cold, my wife can't. She put the bathroom towels on top of the covers and slept in her clothes. It was 50 degrees outside, maybe 5 degrees warmer inside. Paper thin walls, woke up cold and listening to the (German?) couple in the next room in some discussion- he had a bad cough.
The staff is pleasant, the property very clean. If you stay when it's 68-72 at night you may be fine. Oh, and no one in the next room.
I wish I could recommend this property, but I can't. The main issues are their AC/heat system, thin and/or uninsulated walls and hot water taking long to get to you.

Very nice, bed was very comfortable. A little noisy do to some construction on highway and also room was next to the road. But over all very nice.

It was clean recently remodeled by quite small especially the bath room , though the walk in shower was spacious. , hostess at checkin was very pleasant and helpful. Bed was comfy. Our room was very close to main highway but noise was not bad.

Ok

Staff was friendly and room was clean. I just wish that there were more hot water coming from the shower and maybe put an entrance rug at the front door. Good price for the location though with being a short walk across the bridge to get to the historical downtown of St. Augustine.

Great remodel of this smaller motel. Sam and his wife (owners) were so very nice! This was a neat little gem with just the walk across the bridge into the historic downtown of St Augustine. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was fairly clean, but the room was very small. The lighting was bad and we had to unplug the microwave to plug in coffee pot. Only one single outlet in bathroom above the mirror.

Good value. Clean & friendly
Stayed 3 nights in January, to explore St. Augustine for the first time. Great location; about 15-20 minutes walk across the bridge to old town St. Augustine. Check-in was quick and friendly, and the staff was available for assistance if needed.
It’s a basic hotel, but the room was modern and clean, and enough room for two people. The street noise from passing traffic isn’t bad, but if you are a light sleeper, earplugs do the trick. I’d recommend and would stay there again.

It was pretty nice except the toilet stopped working twice. Kinda an inconvenience since it was late at night when it happened and wasn’t able to tell management until morning. Then he fixed it and an hour later it happened again. That’s a problem.

I liked the smiling helpful staff members and the clean modern room. I'll definitely be returning!

Great property if you need to book something quick. Everything was clean and the staff were very friendly. 10/10

This hotel was great for an overnight stay to visit historic St. Augustine. It was a short beautiful walk over the bridge. The hotel was clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable. The staff was friendly and there was no noise despite being right on the highway. We'll definitely stay again when we're in town.

The room was surprisingly clean and spacious , and had been remodeled . Had coffee, fridge and microwave . All first floor , very easy staff to deal with. Just across the bridge , good location.
10.0
Great spot, easy to get to and short walk over bridge to downtown.
3.0
Great motel to stay within your budget. Very closed to the old historical town.
2.0
Very conveniently located within waking distance to the bridge that connects you to downtown area, restaurants and attractions. Great host and service. Spacious shower and soft pillows.
3.0
Owners super niece and friendly. Only issue is that you hear everything from one room to the other
6.0
Property was decent but parking was tight. If you are traveling with a trailer or truck the parking is not to accommodating.
1.0
Dirty shower, loud AC..if u want a bed and bathroom you got it...but someone elses hair in shower.
The only positive was its closeness to downtown.
8.0
I liked this place because it's within a short walk distance to the downtown areas where Nights of the Lights activities were happening, and the price for the stay was reasonable. It's, however, an older facility with upgraded fixtures and it's quite noisy with passing traffic as it's on a busy street. The owner was friendly and service was good. Overall we were satisfied with our stay.
10.0
It was great for the price. Short distance walk to the downtown area.
4.0
Friendly staff, clean, no frills room. If you need an inexpensive room to stay near the Saint Augustine Historic District, this is your place.
3.0
From the outside, the hotel looks older, but the room was great. The owner was on site, we had a nice conversation and he assisted with an issue that arose from my hotel.com booking. The walk across the Lions Bridge to downtown was short with a great view. The king bed was firm (I loved it, my wife prefers a little bit softer, but I slept amazingly!) If I have a complaint it was that the soap dispenser in the shower was a little tough to use, but that is definitely not enough to keep us from staying here the next time we vacation in St. Augustine!
3.0
The owners were super nice, and I hope to stay with them again! Thanks for everything!

It is a great and inexpensive way to visit the popular areas in the historic district of St. Augustine. It is only a walk across the Lion's Bridge (15 minutes) to the area of the Night of Lights and St. Georges street. We took an Uber back to the hotel room ($9.00) and didn't have to deal with the parking in the busy downtown area at all. We got there in the morning, well before check in time, and the property manager let us park our car there and walked into town and had a great time. The hotel room was just a place for us to sleep and it was clean and the beds were comfy. This place is a great value for those who want to enjoy St. Augustine and not pay the enormous prices for a down town hotel.
