wonderful night's sleep

Very courteous service, not fancy, but simple and enough for an overnight stay. The staff treated us kindly, efficiently, and we enjoyed our room.

This hotel isn't fancy, but is clean, comfortable, and a good value. It's clearly family owned and the folks running it are very friendly. There is breakfast available in the morning - primarily pre-packed items like donuts and Jimmy Dean sandwiches. I loved that there were real mugs in the lobby for the morning coffee so I could avoid disposable. This fit the bill for our stop at Tamarack on the way to McCall!

The biggest issues are:
1. The bed is extremely uncomfortable
2. The bad frame is metal and clanks every time you move
3. Pillows are flat, uncomfortable, and you only get two

The room we were given had two queen beds crammed into a very small room - about 18" wide where you walk to get into the room between the bed and wall, bed by the window was 6" from the AC unit. In-shower shampoo dispenser was nasty. Uncomfortable beds. Construction and supplies stored in hallways. Overall this hotel is worn out.

Awesome place with equally awesome staff. Tom was great on giving us pointers on what and where to go on our last leg of visiting ID.

The TV didn't work, and the nice young lady at the front desk in the afternoon couldn't have been more courteous, helpful, and prompt!
Found a great Italian Restaurant, Ragazza di Buffalo - go there!

Great staff and service! Very friendly and accommodating. Clean and comfortable environment. Nice area in lobby to enjoy breakfast treats. Excellent real coffee cups for breakfast. One small critique, if the fan on the heater/AC had slower and more quiet speed, it would be a perfect experience.

It was right off the highway on our way to Meridian. Felt bad for the front desk guy as we rolled in at 1 am, but he was very nice about it. Very clean and quiet. Loved the cabin feeling

Was convenient and able to book at the last minute. Was expensive as a result. Breakfast was limited. Building is older but remodeled quite well.

The room was clean but very sparsely decorated. Apparently at 10:00pm the front desk closes.
The outside needs some clean up to make it seem more welcoming.

For the price this was a good choice and the room was clean and very quiet. Continental breakfast selections weren't impressive and I dislike that there is no daily bed making or service to the room.

It was nicecway to begin our vacation. Staff was friendly, our room was clean and had great amenties. It was quite and we slept well.

Favorite place to stay in Donnelly

Room amenities were good enough, but lacked an elementary internal telephone service. There was no way to report the behavior of the guests on the upper floor who, between 2:00 and 3:30 am on Sunday 06/08, began to make a lot of noise, talk loudly, walk from one side to the other without any consideration of the neighboring guests. The indiscriminate noise only lowered its intensity for about 15 minutes, when I hit the wall with great force while yelling very loudly for them to stop making noise.
I couldn't get back to sleep until around 5:00am anyway. It was a very bad experience.
If at certain hours of the day there is no attention at the reception, one can less expect that there will be help during the night.
Although I understand that the internet signal is very weak due to the somewhat remote location, it was also somewhat uncomfortable. The breakfast was very meager considering the price paid.
Not very sure of returning to this hotel in the future or recommending it to acquaintances. FF
