Relaxing and quiet location, extremely welcoming and helpful, polite staff. Updates that have been done in rooms of this iconic classic motel are great, with the mattress being a bit on the hard side for my boyfriend, a mattress topper would be perfect. The water pressure was amazing, took a long soak in the tub with plenty of hot water. Quick walk to the beach, within close enough proximity to drive north or south for restaurants and such. The mini fridge worked nice for leftovers. We brought our dogs. They do a fabulous job of accommodating family pets and kept that in mind with the vinyl plank flooring and welcome bag with doggy essentials ❤️ rinsing station in the rear lawn area. Great clean spot if you’re more laid back with price that won’t break your bank!

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The beach is easily accessible via a short walk down steps. Parking was convenient right outside the door. If you have technology that needs charging you may want to bring an extension cord as there are only one open plug on each side of the bed. There are other outlets - just not near the nightstand (at least not that I noticed). Front desk staff were nice and helpful.

We stumbled on this little beachfront hotel and were really glad we did. It was super clean and comfortable and our check in felt like we were visiting family. We can't wait to come back and stay a little longer.

The location is a 10! The staff is a 10! If we could have hoped for anything more, a mattress foam topper would be helpful. Feeling the springs not so great. Yes, we came in February, so outdoor table not a choice to sit at for a meal or activity, but only one chair in the room left us also wanting… The staff made it all pleasurable to look forward to coming back and of course the OCEAN! Thank you.

What a fantastic little Inn! So welcoming and the room itself was clean and really well done. We left before the office opened and the staff came out to see if everything was okay and to bring us coffee for the road! So thoughtful! Beautiful ocean views and great back patio. We will absolutely stay here again!!

This property is exactly as advertised. It’s a quaint motel steeped in history with upgrades that offer some modern conveniences. If you appreciate accommodations steeped in history, this is the place for you. The best thing is Team Tillicum Beach Motel. Hands-on owners Chad and Emily, and support team…Josh, Janice, Kim and others. Easy access to the beach in front of the motel, other local beaches, the towns of Yachats, Florence and Waldport make this an ideal spot for bumbling from adventure after adventure on the Central Oregon Coast.

Very cozy and comfortable quaint motel right on the beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Stayed in #1 and really enjoyed the two separate rooms so our daughter could have one to herself while we watched one of the movies you can borrow from the motel lobby. Great stay, we will definitely be back.

Great escape with our small dogs, easy to find, great and friendly staff. Only issue we had was that it took a really long time to get hot water for a shower. Will definitely stay here again.

This place takes you back in time! Nice property-walk out back down the stairs - great beach (you can walk to Yachats) . Staff very friendly! Rooms are clean! My only negative = mattress gets a 2 out of 4 and the pillows get a zero! Because I am a spoiled American.

Friendly, helpful staff and management, and a very nice, spacious room. Great place to come with a dog, and the location really can't be beat. We'd definitely come back! The bathroom was spacious and had an effective heater. Plenty of hot water. My room had a fridge and a microwave. My only hesitations: Something used to clean the floors made them a bit slippery and sticky, and I would have liked more effective window coverings to block out the sunshine. Otherwise, really wonderful. We will be back!

This was a wonderful stay! The lobby & room were so cozy and warm. The room was clean and bright and had everything we needed including movies and games to borrow from the lobby which really made the experience so nice. Being able to walk directly to the coast was lovely and the service was friendly and accommodating. Thank you!

Great one night stay just before Thanksgiving. Good rate for a sunday night, very friendly staff and just a minute to the beach. Great back yard off of rooms, picnic tables grills and a huge fire pit that must be great during the summer but it was flooded out when ww were there. Just a fewminutes to Yachats for good dining and drinks. We loved it!

Older property but a completely refurbished room - Deluxe, King with Ocean view...... Ocean view a little farther out than I thought, but location to Yachats and hiking trails and amenities and cleanliness were awesome!

The view from our room is gorgeous & private. We felt comfortable sleeping with the curtains open all night, even on the bottom floor. That being said, the room itself is mostly clean if you didn’t look too closely at the walls. The couch is pretty gross Also, the entire closet was taken out, so there was nowhere to hang up clothes. My biggest issue is being under a room where people are stomping around like elephants shaking our entire room beneath them. I would have made sure I was on the top floor had I known. We’ve been traveling down the coast for days & this is the first time we’ve had to deal with insanely heavy walkers in the room above. There wasn’t a lot of people staying here last night & it would have been thoughtful to space out rooms so customers wouldn’t have to deal with this. This instance alone is enough to deter me from staying here in the future. That being said, the front desk clerk was nice & there’s an indoor pool, jacuzzi & sauna on premise for customer use - which is a cool feature.

Not fancy BUT for a truly dog friendly coastal roadside motel it was great! Very nice staff welcoming to dogs. Each room had a back door out to a huge lawn. Very convenient for taking dogs out. The grounds were great for a happy dog to run around and had access to a large beach. Rooms were cozy, clean and tidy. Will definitely go again with my pup.

Front desk guy was smug and rude. The place was not even a quarter full and would not allow for a late check out. The room was pretty bare bones. On a summer day and in a good mood, I may have called it old school and quaint, but after the rude, check-in it just seemed cold and unwelcoming.

It's not fancy, but Tillicum Beach Motel just earned a spot as one of my favorite places in the world. The staff is so friendly, I felt right at home, feeling that was increased by the ambiance and character of the motel. Best of all, I was surprised by the warm welcome my little dog received, with a package including bed, treats, water bowl and poo bags. All that and the Pacific Ocean roaring onto the shore!

OK, nice location, quick walk to great walking beach, bring your kite. Clean room, decent bathroom. Had an ok night. But that’s it - ok for an overnight. For the money I would try somewhere else on my next beach trip.

Friendly staff in a very basic but clean old motor court (skipped the shower because it was so small). Breakfast was "meh". A bit of a drive to Yachats for dinner. For about $20 more, we had a very romantic place in Lincoln City the next night and the difference in breakfast options more than covered the extra cost.

We travel a lot and have booked dozens of hotel rooms (23 just this year). This place is a little rustic, but nicely maintained and backs up to the ocean. Nothing like sleeping to the sound of the waves and ocean breeze through the windows. The guys running the place were super cool and accommodating – real pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend.
