The receptionist did not find my reservation , have to wait too long for the room . there is no lobby or any place to sit down until you are waiting for the room to be cleaned ! we did not take a shower because we didn't think it was clean enough. the good thing was that we had only one night !!! at checking out on the invoice the reservation said my name exactly and the number also so I don't understand why he could not find it in a first place ! weird . so i would not recommend this place to anyone .

All of the surfaces were a bit sticky. There is only one set of towels and more could not be provided. There were small holes in the thin comforter. Our neighbor next door asked us for money. On the positive, the area around it is super cool and lively, there’s free parking and shockingly good coffee in the morning. Overall you get what you pay for and I feel this could’ve been $20 cheaper.

5am argument outside our room, crazy’s hanging out in the street. Guy at the desk pissed when I woke him up to check out. Door lock broken on door toilet hard to flush and ice mch broke down. Not a quiet place at all Guess I should expect this for the price.

The location was excellent. Front desk manager was friendly. But very limited amenities. Room was clean, and bed was clean and comfortable Price was reasonable compared to others in the area Would return if visiting DC again

Was very easy to find and the distance was manageable and worth the price.

There were bed bugs in my bed I am beyond upset worst place ever don’t stay there. Not worth the price stay somewhere else. DO NOT STAY HERE THEY HAVE BED BUGS AND COCKROACHES WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN

Good value hotel. Wifi wasn’t worming. My room was clean, short walk to public transit. Suited my needs for a cheap stay.

The hotel on the outside looked really run down.

Two stars because I was still able to sleep and bathe here despite it being dirty and housekeeping not providing enough towels or cleaning the rooms well enough. There were cigarette burns on the bed blankets and insects in various places. Bathroom fan didn’t work and there was a hole in the wall from the door being slammed into it. Used towels were taken by housekeeping but not replaced with clean ones. The staff were friendly, however, and accommodating. This is a good place to stay if you’re just looking for somewhere to rest at night; I’d not want to stay here to relax during the day because it’s not very comfortable. It’s affordable and you get what you pay for.

We had to leave after our first night here. There were people parked across the street blaring music all night in their cars. The following day the people were back, so we left knowing they’d be at it again that night. The back alley running behind the hotel is sketchy and so is the immediate area beside the hotel. When we arrived it was pouring and rain came in through our front door soaking the floor. We used a towel to mop it up and asked the front desk for another one. They said they didn’t have any and would have to see if housekeeping was still there to bring us one (which they did). There was no shampoo - very basic. The housekeeper was good and kept the room tidy though. Would pay for a hotel in a nicer area with better security if I visited again.

No air conditioning and no tv

Thank you for the opportunity to review the stay on 7/18/23. It was a good place to stay overnight, however the next day 7/19/23 for an 11:00am checkout, when turning in the keys, no one was in the office. I did not just leave the keys for the room at the front desk. I waited for 30 mins for the desk person to return to make sure they received their keys in their hands. Need better instructions on what to do when you checkout, if no one is at the front desk. Thank you.

No kettle in room. Coffee at main office is crap.

It wasn't very clean. The "fresh" towels had stains. The ice machine was out of order and the vending machine for drinks showed 84 degrees. At least the staff was very nice.

The rooms had no microwave or fridge cable only had 6 channels and have of those were spanish

Bad customer service

I spent one night and slept soundly on a comfortable bed. The shower was nice and there was everything i needed or wanted for my stay.

Room was more a small cubby-hole that would be used for maintenance storage. The view was inferior to those facing the parking lot or with a view toward 4th St. and the Capitol. The wiring had the ceiling light and the power for the TV connected for simultaneous operation-even if one didn't want the bright ceiling light on. Their was a sticky glaze on the furniture. The WIFI was not good for laptop, though it was for my android. The neighborhood vendors-restaurant-bars made an other-wise dreary stay pleasantly better.

While cheap, this hotel really was the absolute bare minimum. Cigarette burns on the blanket cover, door didn’t close properly.

Good location but nothing fancy

Disgusting. Sticky surfaces. Used condom stuck in the trash can liner. A dozen visible cigarette burn marks in the “blanket”. AC unit was stuck on 74 & non-responsive- front desk told me (at 6:30 pm) I was out of luck until the following morning - when I was checking out.

If you advertise free wifi, make sure it works. Also, one day housecleaning didn't come. Location was convenient and interesting, with some great little cafes and restaurants but also socio-economically mixed.

They did not have my reservation. Was told l am not in their system and had to pay more. Was given a smoking room with burn holes in the bedspread, plastic top under the sheets and door did not close at the bottom, warped. We slept fully clothed. Drink machine had hot soda and no water and no ice machine. Dirty dirty dirty. We were no less than stunned. City unknown to us and to tired to travel any longer.
