It is difficult to give negative review to this family owned motel. It is in a small town and is a very old facility. The water heater went out just before we arrived and they had developed a system to work around it. However, it took a very long time to get hot water. The staff was very understanding and very good, but it was a difficult stay.

Fabric softener was possibly used. We prefer white vinegar rinse. Doesn't leave a fragrance and is kinder to the skin and environment.

Was an older hotel, but rooms had been updated. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very nice and clean motel. Friendly staff. Only room for improvement in my opinion would be to upgrade the bed as ours was a bit squeaky and too firm. Management is in the process of several upgrades so perhaps that item is already on their to-do list.

The motel facility is showing its age, however the owners are trying their best to maintain and improve the motel. The motel was clean and quiet. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful.

This is an older hotel with a lot of charm. The room was very large and was so clean. The owner was so nice and I enjoyed visiting with her. We would definitely stay there again.

Plenty of room in room itself. TV sat low. Upgrades are needed! Towels had yellow stuff stuck on them and sheets appeared to have crumbs in them? Staff were very nice and friendly!

First ever motel we had ever stayed at. Motel looks recently renovated. Bed was nice. Was great parking directly in front of your room. Very sleepy looking town. Staff was nice!

This was the nicest and cleanest motel we've ever stayed in. The room shave tile floors rather than carpet which was a definite plus. Beds were very comfortable, ac unit was quiet, there's a laundry room (and someone even provided detergent), and they provide asmall breakfast but there were a lot of options to choose from. Will definitely stay here again if we return to this area.

We stopped for one night on our way east. The room was clean, bed comfortable. My husband really liked the chair. The bathroom is small but clean. The breakfast is small and simple and does the job. we always like parking outside of our room. We would stay again if in town.

The staff was really helpful! We checked in so late and left so early, we never met them in person. They were very helpful in assisting in this process.
The property is clean, and very simple, not a lot of frills, and none were expected. This was exactly what I would expect from a motel in tiny town. The room was clean, but if you are looking for pristine and like new, the moose pattern comforter may be a disappointment. A cute and quaint place, good for a short stay, but an EXCELLENT location!

Very very noisy air conditioner, couldn't hear the tv while it was running, had to turn it off when sleeping, to loud to sleep. Bathroom fan also extremely loud, couldn't stand to be in the bathroom. Bath towels extremely thin, bar soap wouldn't lather. If you want to sleep, avoid this place.

This property went from ashy to classy. New ownership has taken the Deer Lodge and ran with it. From a pleasant hello when u arrive to a friendly see u next time when u leave from ownership made me feel right at home. And it is CLEAN EVERYWHERE! Definitely recommend to any type of traveler, they got u safe and sound.

This facility appears to be a mid-century building where you park in the middle of the property directly in front of the door to your room. The property was recently purchased and is being renovated. Our room had fresh flooring and paint. As it is an older building, it does not have some of the modern design features of today's facilities. Don't expect fancy modern finishes. However, it was one of the cleanest rooms I have ever seen. Although it was a pet-friendly facility, there was absolutely no evidence of animals ever having been in the room. Breakfast is very simple with pre-packaged items. But, it was enough to get you down the road. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

The owner was so great and friendly! The room was very clean and newly renovated. Sundance is a small town. The owner told me of the best restaurant in town and it did not disappoint. The longhorn restaurant was delicious. And when we left we got coffee at the Wild west coffee stabd which was amazing as well. Will stay again. Kinsley the housekeeper did an amzing job cleaning the room.
