Great location downtown. Nice hotel. $300 a night I expect a breakfast. At least a muffin. $18 for eggs to order and not much else. Parking i. Savannah is ridiculous. We knew that a wanted a hotel with parking. Nothing in their ad said it was valet parking a $45 a night.

Front desk was very helpful about answering questions, getting car parking, site seeing... Room nicely updated, comfy and clean. Right near City Markets and Hop on bus.

Don't even hesitate to book a room at the DoubleTree. The hotel was clean and the staff was exceptional! The location is great! I would stay here again without any hesitation whatsoever.

Bathroom seemed to have sime sort of leak that left the floor outside the bathroom wet. This causrd some concern over possible mold since the door showed signs of long term moisture.

Great location! Parking was challenging other than valet but there’s a lot behind the hotel that’s cheaper. Everyone was very nice and accommodating

Beds were comfortable and nice fluffy towel. We had 4 people in the room but only 2 towels so we had to ask for extras. Beds seemed smaller than queens, which we had booked. Room and hotel were very nice and quiet. Parking attendant was not very friendly and no one helped us get our luggage to our room.

Our stay was mostly great. Great location, great staff. But I never like forced valet, and I thought the place was over priced. Admittedly it could be because it was during the busy St Patricks Day celebration - which we didn't account for, since they have it on 3/16 when it would otherwise land on a Sunday. Also, there were a few minor issues with the room - bathroom door was sticky, AC was incredibly loud, the "gym" was miniscule - that they apologized for, but still were a bit annoying. They offered another room, but once you're all settled in it is a pain to switch again. Otherwise all was good.

Enjoyed our stay! Service was excellent. Room was clean. Loved the fireplace in the library and the bar was great. The bed was a little to soft along with the pillows but manageable. The only con is the outside noise, you could hear the cars up and down the streets like they were in the room with you lol. Overall the stay was Great!

The hotel was very nice and very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful and acted like they appreciated your business. My only complaints are that it’s very noisy but it’s on a crazy busy road and the parking situation is a challenge if you don’t valet park.

This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel. I love the location; right in the center of Historic District, everything I wanted to see and do was in walking distant. The staff was very friendly, and the room very clean.

Property needed general upkeep with paint and trim issues. Staff somewhat interested in your issues. No breakfast but for an overpriced menu. Parking expensive. Three stars

Hotel.com said I will pay on the hotel, which I did, but the hotel did not give me any receipt (according to them hotel.com should provide that)

The hotel itself was great but I got no sleep because of the street side vehicles revving and blasting music. It’s not the hotel or staffs fault but it’s not a good place to stay on weekends

The property it self was excellent only issue was the night we checked in the girl running the counter didn’t know what she was doing and didn’t check me in properly and I woke up to a note under my door asking me to come to the front desk and when I got to the front desk the day shift tells me I was never checked in or paid even though the girl took my card the night before

While the hotel and the staff were great, our room overlooked the street, which is one of the busiest streets in Savannah. The amount of noise the tractor trailers and large work trucks produced was insane. Unfortunately, the traffic and noise went on all night so sleep was not an option. The windows are clearly not noise cancelling, making the sound seem amplified during the night. I would HIGHLY recommend that if you do choose to stay here, ask for a room that doesn't overlook the street!

If your room faces MLK Blvd it will be noisy overnight. Use the noise diffusing machines in the rooms. They really work.

A great experience. Our D/T overnight in SAV was a stopover on our way to FL. D/T was the perfect location for walking around the river. Juan at the bar did an outstanding job.

Check in is actually 4 instead of 3. We waited in the lobby for an hour. The only way to get parking on-site is to use valet parking. $45 a night. These things need to be updated.
