First time in Charleston and one of the best vacation experiences. Loved the accommodations at The Ashley. The owners have thought of almost every possible need. Will recommend this place to anyone asking for a great place to stay. Thanks for making this first time visit so memorable.

The location and the condition of this property is definitely a five star. We thoroughly enjoyed being there. Wish we could’ve enjoyed the outside fire pit. Tank was out of gas. Very nice to have bicycles. Do use while staying on the property as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Are you and your partner looking for a place to spend your weekend in Charleston? Are you trying to stay in walking distance of King St. and historic downtown? Are you trying not spend half your life savings on a hotel that costs $500 a night?? Then man oh man look no further. The Ashley is gorgeous, newly renovated, clean, and quiet. My fiance and I spent mothers day weekend there and loved the king size bed and walk in shower. We loved having almost no interaction with other guests. Hotel staff was super responsive and easy to get ahold of if we ever needed anything. AND they had breakfast waiting for us in the lobby area from a local bagel joint. Its a quick 10 minute walk to King St. and 30 minute walk to the battery. Lovely, beautiful, safe neighborhood. They have bikes to use for free too (although we didnt think charleston was the most bike friendly). Look. Charleston is beautiful but its stupid expensive. If you’re a budget-focused travel-happy couple like we are, you’d be dumb not to stay here.

We were given the wrong password to get into the building and had to call twice. Also the place is really noisy being on a corner lot - all night long all I could hear was the traffic. The house is really cool lots of history and great location. However, I would not consider staying again as I could not sleep very well. The bed Also need's to be upgraded. Charleston Rocks and will be coming back again very soon.
