Beautiful lake home on Embarrass Lake, 5 miles to one of the premiere ski and golf resorts in Minnesota, (the Quarry and Legend) and just over 60 miles north of Downtown Duluth. Almost 3600 square feet with nearly 200' of beautiful and sandy lake shore with a gorgeous swimming beach with two docks and a boathouse. Pontoon boat on site is available for rental, as well! Gaze at the stars from the beautiful wrap-around deck. Spend the day relaxing in the shallow sandy water. Enjoy the evening with a bonfire on the beach shore, playing bags from the walkout basement, with tons of activities to keep the family busy: playground, dartboard, Air hockey table, Shuffleboard table, pac-man video games, pellet smoker/grill, foosball, sauna, wet bar, TV's, Internet, and too many other things to list! Bonfires, star gazing, wildlife, 1000's of acres of public land, OHV/ATV Trails, Paved biking trails, and Giants' Ridge (skiing, snowshoeing, golf, top notch restaurant, ....) being a stones throw from the property... We truly believe there is something for everyone at this beautiful retreat. We picked this cabin as it was close to Giants Ridge and we couldn't have been happier with the location. Only about 6 minutes away from Giants Ridge. Overall House was great. The upstairs was a nice chill area by the fireplace. While downstairs was a fun hangout spot with the TV and game room along with a bar area and sauna! Overall was a great experience. Hopefully we can make it back again!

Worked great for our party of 10. We had so much space to be together, but also get away if we wanted to read a book. Would definitely book this again!

Beautiful spacious lake home with a fantastic view. The property location is perfect, and is exceptionally clean. This cabin has everything you need, and they layout is wonderful. We enjoyed Christmas here with our family.

12 of my friends and I stayed here for my 30th birthday. For many of us, it was our first time at any sort of cabin especially one that was so nice. We've all had a lot going on in our own lives so it was awesome to get away and spend quality time with loved ones. Some of us even cried from joy at one point. The cabin truely exceeded our expectations. Due to being so new to everything it was great that the host was increadibly quick to respond to any and all questions. I would highly recommend staying at this great location.

We were 3 families with ages ranging from baby to grandma. We had an amazing time and would definitely come back again. There were PLENTY of indoor spaces for us to hang out. Legos could be played with on the upper floor while baby crawled around in the living room downstairs. Parents could enjoy the sauna and jumping into the icy cold lake. Canoes and Kayaks were easy to put in, and lifejackets were available in all sizes. So many games and things to do indoors, like Ping Pong and Fuseball and old video arcade games. This was helpful since it was rainy on most of the days. A beautiful view of the fall colors!

Had a wonderful family vacation. Grandkids enjoyed the play equipment and all enjoyed the lily pad. Lake was shallow and had a sandy bottom. Pontoon was great for touring the lake and anchoring near the sand bar for swimming. House was perfect for family. Little ones especially enjoyed PacMan!

Had a wonderful stay at this house. Lots to do inside and out, which was great because a few days the weather was not great. Ended up having a ping pong and air hockey tournament.
Kids had fun fishing, swimming, and hunting for crawfish. They let us bring our dogs who also enjoyed taking evening pontoon rides and swimming.
Again, this was house is amazing.

We had such a great, relaxing time! This is a great space for kids of all ages with a lot of indoor seating and activities. Outdoor activities and a beautiful lake kept all of the kids busy and happy! We highly recommend!!

Great house; private location. Room for all of us; loved the individual bedroom a/c zones. Well-stocked kitchen. Indoor games, outdoor toys (kayaks, canoe, lilypad, swingset, lawn games) kept everyone entertained! Nice to have the pontoon boat available for rent also. Kris was a great host; responded to our questions/needs, made the process easy. We'd plan to come again.

There were many things to do inside and outside thanks to great amenities such as paddleboard, kayak, pontoon, shuffleboard, ladder game, bag game. dart board, ping pong, air hockey, foosball!
Loved the wrap around deck, the house is a very nice size for a large group. There were 8 of us and we all had our own space. The Master Bedroom Suite was awesome! Loved the whirlpool bath!
Lower level was a great space with a beautiful bedroom, bath, theater area, and bar and play area.
The huge yard was beautiful. The lake was gorgeous, the kids had a blast swimming,
It was very private. we enjoyed the quiet, peaceful beauty surrounding us.
The kitchen was fully stocked, the furniture was nice and very comfortable..

Very enjoyable with plenty of space for the entire family. The lake is pretty shallow but very nice to use for canoes and kayaks. The game room wasn’t fun as there wasn’t a fous ball anywhere and the shuffle board had no sand. The electronic dart board also didn’t really work at all.

Our family had a great time at the Biwabik Bunkhouse! The property manager did a terrific job with communication — he was prompt and super helpful. We are hoping to be back next year!

Lake and sauna a great combination

We had a group of family members from three generations for an extended weekend. It was enough space for everyone to get together and also have their own space. There was something for everyone to do - darts, air hockey, pac man, bags, sand castle building, kayaking, paddle boarding, and lounging. We had a small fire for s’mores and rented the pontoon boat for a couple of days to swim in the lake. The shallow area had a lot of crayfish, which were fun to catch and release. We had a hard time catching fish, but we had a good time swimming from the pontoon. The lawn space is large and allows for a lot of play! The hosts were responsive and easy to work with before and during our stay!

This was the perfect place for a family ski getaway. My Grandchildren loved all the fun things to do and asked to come back again. We were all pleased with the property.

For a rental property, the how was in good shape. For a family with kids, the layout of the house worked great.
A few littles things like burnt out light bulbs, smoke alarm battery low ( unable to reach ), refrig could have been cleaner and the in-floor heating took a long time to warm up the house. The beds were very comfortable.
Overall the good things about the house out weighed the not so good things.

The place far exceeded our expectations! It was modern, clean, convenient, updated, accessorized, and had many fun activities to do inside and out! Just walking down the road was stunning. There were three beautiful common areas, and the bedrooms were large enough to hold several people comfortably. The water was always warm, and the appliances were very easy to run. Which made clean up and departure quite simple! I would highly recommend staying here! Also, the hosts were incredible! They were friendly, accommodating, caring, and easy to access.

The house is beautiful and the location is great. We skied Giant's Ridge and it's less than 10 minutes away. The house is a great fit for families and the communication with the property manager was absolutely excellent! They really want you to have a good experience and are very responsive. Highly recommend!

Great communication with hosts. Property was perfect for our family. Great games and spaces for all. Only problem was the internet went down for a short period. Great location for a large group and for access to Giants Ridge.

I reserved this house for a weekend golf trip with some friends and had a great experience with the lake home. With all the amenities like cards, darts, shuffle board, air hockey and more there was plenty to do when we didn't have the best weather. Couldn't recommend this place enough and the host was incredibly helpful whenever we had a question or request he was very responsive and helpful!

The property, home and location was wonderful for our large family gathering and afforded everyone ample space to be together or get a little privacy. Plenty of room for preparing meals as well as having a fully stocked assortment of kitchen cookware, servingware and place settings. Parking is plenty and yard area spacious with some great sunset views across the lake. Highly recommend this home for a large group.

Awesome property and owner! Very nice house with games and a nice little lake. Only downside to property is a neighbor that is a couple hundred yards away that complained that we were being loud outside well past dark. We actully went in at dusk because bugs were intolerable. We did have windows open and assume that is how they heard the noise. Next night we closed windows and I think it improved the noise factor quite a bit. All in all, great place to stay!

Well appointed property, and quiet corner of the lake made for simply a splendid time for my family and I. Lots to do, which kept our teenage sons very busy. Nice kitchen to cook in, and Traeger-like BBQ to grill on. Comfy and abundant beds!

4th of July family gathering
Loved this place! Kitchen/dining was perfect for our family style meals (and it was fully stocked with everything we needed). So many things for the kids to do from catching crawfish out of the lake to the little playset, to shuffle board and air hockey. Swimming off the dock was great. View from the deck is awesome. Really great place for all 18 of us!
