With numerous public docks along the Deschutes River, you'll have convenient access to a plethora of water activities. Spend afternoons rafting, fishing, boating, paddleboarding, or tubing. Back on land, you'll find miles of trails right off the river path that are ideal for hiking and mountain biking. LIVING AREA: Relax in the living area, featuring vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and easy access to the deck. THE LOCATION: Head to the Big River Boating Site (1.6 miles away) to set off on a fishing adventure or simply enjoy the Deschutes River. Hike the trails at LaPine State Park and the Deschutes National Forest. Practice your swing at one of several nearby golf courses, such as Quail Run Golf Course. In the wintertime, drive 30 minutes to Mount Bachelor for a fun day of skiing, snowboarding, sledding, or cross-country skiing. In the summer, enjoy more than 13 miles of downhill flow trails and hand-built single track at the Mount Bachelor Bike Park. The route to the ski resort from the house avoids much of the usual wintertime traffic heading up to the mountain. Visit Sunriver (11 minutes) for a variety of shopping, dining options, and recreational opportunities, including Sunriver Brewing and the Sunriver Village ice skating rink (winter) and mini golf (summer). THINGS TO KNOW River Meadows Heaven is located in the River Meadows local Homeowners Association (HOA). This is a residential neighborhood with full-time residents. Please be respectful of residents and the HOA's quiet hours each night from 10 pm - 7 am. Excessive noise complaints from the neighbors may result in fines or guests being asked to leave. Deschutes County Tax Certificate #77 Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 1. Security camera details: Active surveillance cameras are located outside of the home pointed at the front door and perimeter. There is a Ring Doorbell camera and an additional camera on the eave of the home facing the driveway for security purposes. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
