Extra items needed are the responsibility of the guests. BYO coffee. ★ Special Deliveries - Upon request, we can deliver firewood, S’mores packages, and more from our concierge, just let us know what would make your stay special! ★ Pest Control - We take every precaution possible to keep pests and insects outdoors by having our property exterminated regularly. Keep all doors and windows closed when not in use. Please remember that our lodge is in the forest, which are home to critters such as beetles, field mice, squirrels, racoons, opossums, flies, wasps, deer, coyotes, moths, and butterflies just to name a few. They were here long before us, and they will be long after us. ★ Hot Tub - The hot tub is trained, sanitized, fresh water added, and treated before your arrival. They are ready for use at a warm 98 degrees. Directions for hot tub use are located on the wall next to it. ★ Linen and Bedding Service - All bed linens and towels are hotel-grade, fresh and totally exchanged by our cleaning service between every single stay. ★ Wifi Reliability - While we pay for top of the line wifi, we are in the woods in a rural area, and signals may vary occasionally.. We’re not responsible for any outages, delays, or issues with the wifi.

This house is very well equipped, stocked and maintained. We had a group of 17 adults staying at the property and we all enjoyed the house and the ambience of the house. The house is surrounded by trees at the back of the house, and we were able to catch sight of various types of wildlife.
Megan was extremely responsive to our minor maintenance needs, and showed a high level of concern that we enjoy our stay.
Because it rained a lot of the time we were there, we especially enjoyed the outside covered - very large - deck, including watching a baseball game out there. It also served as a good "get away" spot if you needed a few minutes away from our rowdy family - lol.
The property is located in a very steep hilly area with very little flat/level areas, so if you have people traveling with you with physical limitations, this may be a concern for them being outside. However, this did not stop our family from enjoying the property.
Overall, I would highly recommend at stay at this property, and with Megan as a property hostess.

We used this house for a leadership planning trip. It comfortably housed 14 adult men. It was never crowded. Lots of room and great outdoor spaces.

The cabin was impeccable. There were 20 of us, more than enough linen towels. The kitchen was stocked with great quality utensils and pots and pans. The temperature was perfect even though there were 20 of us. Everything was clean and it was evident that Meagan cares about ensuring her guest are comfortable. I highly recommend this cabin. The on-site entertainment options are wonderful. All you need to do is show up. My family is still in awe. Hats off to our host.

Paved road to cabin. Spacious Cabin… lots of indoor and outdoor space. Loved the layout of the home which was 3 stories. Super clean and comfy. The beds and bedding were amazing! Stocked amenities were abundant … soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, etc. The owners were easy to communicate with.

This was the perfect house for our group of 17 ranging from age 3-65! There was plenty of space for all of us and an abundance of things to do right there in the home. Megan is an amazing host — she has thought of everything and is SUPER quick to respond when you have a question. Check in and check out could not have gone any smoother!! The extra fridge and two coffee makers were great!! There were 17 of us but would have easily held the 24 that it is listed as being able to accommodate. Would definitely stay here again if we return to the area! Thank you Megan for all your help!!

We had a wonderful stay with our 4 grown children, spouses and grandchildren, celebrating my husband’s 66th birthday. The cabin was a great fit for us and the “kids” loved the bunk room. We never left the cabin (except a fishing expedition for son and SIL for a few hours), otherwise we cooked there and ate ourselves silly. It made wonderful memories!

Had an amazing time here. House is very large, clean and accommodating for big groups. Everything was in great condition and it’s well equipped. Previous review said there is only one fridge but there are two now which was good for our group. The backyard is private and the outdoor entertaining space is amazing. The house has surround sound speakers throughout for playing music and more TVs than you can count. Internet speed was amazing for large groups with lots of devices. The driveway is very large for big parties. As nice as the house is the host is even better. Very prompt with responses and ready to make your stay the best. We looked at 50+ houses to make sure it had everything we needed and this one did not disappoint. We will definitely be back.

This cabin was a great fit for our annual family trip. It had everything we needed for the weekend for the large group of 25+8. We were comfortable. It was very clean. The gas appliance brought back childhood memories which was a talking point for the evening with reminiscing. Speaking of childhood memories, for you 60s & 70s babies there’s a Pac Man game and other throwback games on site too. No quarters needed😍. The game room was stocked with board games, table games, card games you name it. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you may need. We brought our own large pots, pans & utensils but didn’t need them. Multiple refrigerators was definitely a need we didn’t know we needed. The pop out window in the kitchen was a great addition. The elders were ducked away from the younger ones but close enough to be check in on periodically. They really liked a “porch” being accessible right outside of the bedroom. The cabin was very spacious for multiple groups to have conversations without seemingly being on top of each other and voices overlapping. We had s’mores by the campfire. The jacuzzi was used by most daily. We had such a great time indoors we didn’t even get a chance to explore and check off things on the to-do list for outside entertainment. The experience was great and I would definitely recommend to anyone interested. Thanks Megan! It was truly a pleasure.

This was a great house. Very large, clean, modern. We had 4 families, 21 people total and there was plenty of room for all of us. It had dedicated space for the kids. Great outdoor space too. We had a great time. Property manager was easy to communicate with and helpful

Everything We Wanted!
I spent a long time scouring cabins in Hochatown to find just the right one for our family weekend getaway. After several trips to the area, we have a pretty specific list and this property ticked all of our boxes!
We traveled as a group of 6 families, 4 with kiddos between 6 m/o and 13 y/o. There was space for everyone, the rooms were well-appointed and private so everyone had their own retreat. The kids absolutely loved all of the games (air hockey competitions were fierce) and the TVs throughout their space downstairs. Beds were all super comfy and the house stayed cool and comfortable during some pretty hot days.
I think we spent as much time on the decks outside as we did inside, which was great. They had a huge table, plenty of chairs and serving space with a small, pop-open window with direct access to the kitchen. The kitchen was well-appointed with plenty of supplies and counter space. We easily cooked there for our crowd of 22.
Thinking about other things, the house is on a paved road (some of the new cabins are on white rock roads which is not awesome for a boat, which we travel with) and had plenty of parking as advertised. It was only about 5 minutes off of HWY 259A which made getting back into Hochatown restaurants breeze and also easy access to the Carson Creek access for the lake, the part we like to visit.
Last, the property owner was awesome to work with, easy to get in touch with, and super responsive. We had a quick issue with the wifi router and couldn't find it to reset it. I messaged her and, no kidding, there was someone from property management at the house within 15-20 minutes and the whole issue was resolved in less than an hour. Talk about service! Would definitely recommend this place if you have a big group looking for a big (but not too big) place to land while enjoying all of the fun of the Broken Bow area. We loved it and hope to be back!

Very bad smell sitting outside due to sprinkler.Also bed bugs in basement beds.Grill was not working and temporary gas grill was arranged.Also extra towels were not provided.Otherwise cabin was good and it’s in good location
