This unit has free WiFi, 3 flat-screen TV's, a large fully stocked kitchen, granite countertops, a huge soaking tub, a rain shower, and a view from your balcony that will take your breath away! The primary bedroom has king bed, 2nd bedroom has a new queen bed, the third bedroom has a twin over full pyramid bunk and a twin trundle. DIAMOND BEACH RESORT Diamond Beach Resort is a five-star, luxury getaway, located on the West End, just at the end of the Seawall, world’s longest continuous sidewalk. All units offer a private balcony with expansive and unobstructed Gulf Views. Guest will be able to watch the waves roll in and crash against the Seawall, watch the seagulls and pelicans fly overhead and look down below to the outdoor pool and lazy river, without leaving your condo. Diamond Beach Resort amenities include a three-tiered 300′ cascading infinity outdoor pool, 750′ outdoor lazy river (guests must bring own tubes), outdoor water slide (peak season 11 am – 7 pm), two outdoor hot tubs, outdoor swim-up bar and grill (peak season), sand volleyball court, cornhole, chess, ping pong, grills (9 am – 7 pm by reservation), cabana rentals (9 am – 5 pm by reservation), outdoor shower, indoor heated pool, outdoor veranda perfect for watching the sunset, game room, Ocean Movie Theater (open to public before 3 pm and private reservations after that time), Wine and Dine Room, children’s Jungle Playroom, 24/7 fitness center, 24/7 business center, conference room, vending machines, secure building and gated community. Diamond beach resort was perfect for our quick stay on the island. Took young grandchildren for a beach adventure without crowds. It was great. Amenities are perfect

We have been to this complex 5 or 6 times in recent years. This experience was truly disappointing. The floor tiles were broken and the management team rented the condo anyway. These broken tiles were in the middle of the primary walkway, mind you. Absolutely unacceptable. There were shards of broken tiles on the floor where my children were walking. I will never work with this management group again.

We loved diamond beach condos! The only thing I would suggest is leaving more toilet paper, paper towels, etc for guests that are staying longer.

We have been staying at Diamond Beach for years at Thanksgiving and have been very pleased with the accommodations. Our family rents 4 condos from Wed to Sun. This was the first time I was renting from a different owner. While the condo was clean, the tables and coffee table in the living room were unstable. The outdoor furniture was coming apart with frayed fabric and padding exposed. The lamp in the largest bedroom (orange lamp) is being held together with scotch tape. The toilet in this bedroom is incredibly difficult to flush. Hot water takes 15 minutes in the bathroom showers to get warm. The beds squeak in 2 of the bedrooms. It needs a makeover for such a high end property.

Just as pictured - only negative thing was the bathtub didn't drain very well and it was difficult to change from shower to faucet. Everything else was great. Diamond Beach is our favorite place to stay in Galveston with their amazing pools, hot tubs and most of all, the lazy river.

We have checked out early. The dishwasher isn’t working. The ice machine on the fridge isn’t working well. The cooktop is cracked and damaged. There is such limited kitchenware, that we struggled with serving meals. 1 serving bowl, one pyrex baking pan. Thats it. The condo needs a good overhaul or deep cleaning and re-stocking. The patio door doesn't lock! The furniture outside is also in need of repair or replacement. Broken chairs, and torn cushions is not what i expected in one of the most expensive rentals in Diamond Beach! We paid the highest price we’ve EVER paid for a rental at DB! Very disappointed. The beds were comfortable tho. The response to a AC malfunction was fast and helpful.

The condo was lovely. There are beach toys on the back porch I wish we would have known about before. Also we didn’t realize the bottom bunk bed had a trundle as well, so we were able to put a child there instead of the living room couch, which was great because it is too bright for someone to sleep there past 6:00am (no blinds).

Lovely

Quick Beach Trip
The condo was very nice. Patio was huge and had plenty of seating. It is one floor up from the pool. Pictures make it look level with the pool. The complex was nice. There were a few broken umbrellas. The cabana was nice and had a built in cooler.
I wish the fence around the pool didn't block the view of the ocean.

We were not notified until 45 minutes prior to check in that the pools at our condo were not in working order. We had reservations for over a month at a 3 bedroom condo on the beach with a view of the ocean and the pool. We had to move to a 2 bedroom condo with no view. My daughter had to sleep on the sofa! No one bothered to tell us any of this until 45 minutes before we were supposed to checkin. The pipes froze during the snow which occurred over 3 weeks ago!!

Misleading Condo
We were not notified until 45 minutes prior to check in that the pools at our condo were not in working order. We had reservations for over a month at a 3 bedroom condo on the beach with a view of the ocean and the pool. We had to move to a 2 bedroom condo with no view. My daughter had to sleep on the sofa! No one bothered to tell us any of this until 45 minutes before we were supposed to checkin. The pipes froze during the snow which occurred over 3 weeks ago!!

It was really nice to get away. The place is mostly fantastic, so here’s the reasons for not giving a 5-star rating:
1) Cleanliness: 3 stars. Finding food crumbs on the floor and on the furniture was annoying. So was having to clean “trash-splash goo” off the walls from previous tenants in both the kitchen and master bedroom. I get that kids and families stay here, but they may need to hire a new cleaning crew.
Location: 4 stars. The “close to the beach” is deceiving. You are absolutely right on the water. But finding sand is a bit of a walk (1.5 miles) if you’re carrying beach gear. Bring a wagon or pay to park down the road.
If you’re looking from a nice getaway from Covid, this will do. But keep in mind the bars onsite are closed, they no longer offer free float tubes for the lazy river, and staff (while super friendly and helpful) are limited in numbers. The hot tub heating element was broken on one of the two hot tubs the entire week...made it hard to social distance and warm up at the same time.
Overall, the views were just like in the pictures. Just bring misquote repellant!!!!!

Excellent for Weekend Family Getaway
We stayed here with our two kids for the weekend and it was wonderful. The pool is perfect for small children and so much fun. Loved that you could walk right outside to the beach instead of having to cross the busy street to get to the seawall. The playroom was also really nice to have for the middle of the day when you want to keep the little ones out of the blazing sun. The kids were so happy playing on the beach and in the pool. We truly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to go back.

Galveston Unit 212
Great location with wonderful amenities. The property is not as well kept as it was when we were there 3 years ago. Unit property manager did not respond to a non-critical but important inquiry from us regarding cable TV access. Left two messages, finally got a hold of someone who promised to call back and never did.

BOI returns home
As a BOI, my standards are high for when I come back home to the island. However, instead of staying with fam and friends we decided to try something new and this didn’t disappoint! The pools and lazy river and amenities were awesome- something for everyone!! Can’t wait to stay again soon!! Our new go-to! Clean and friendly.

Everything you could ever want!
We had a wonderful spring break with our 5 kids! The weather did not cooperate, but the condo at diamond beach had plenty of options to keep them entertained! So glad we chose the condo and not a beach house. The pictures did not disappoint!

Very pretty first impression
It needs a good going over for details, such as lampshades, drawers doorsteps, water toys. The are not enough towels for 8 people. There's not a fan or TV in the queen bedroom. The mosquitos are everywhere! Otherwise we had a great trip!
