One mile south of MA 10 min to Great Barrington/Big Y 20 min to Ski Butternut 25 min to Catamount Ski 40 min to Tanglewood Private and peaceful on 4 acres with lawn and woods for you to enjoy the outdoors. Refreshing pool open in the summer. Deepest point is 8 feet. Grill and eat outside on the large wood deck. Deer, hummingbirds, and butterflies are often hanging around. Only 2.5 hours or less from NYC. Fast WiFi (200+ mbps) and good cell service. House borders commercial train tracks on one side, separated by trees and large lawn but in sight during the winter. You will hear trains going by or an old-fashioned train whistle occasionally. Our kids love to listen for it! Note that there is open access to the pool. The stairs going upstairs to the bedrooms and full bathroom are steep, and the upstairs hallway is open to the downstairs. There are handrails and railings, but house is NOT recommended for families with young children. All children must be supervised at all times around the pool.
