About this bed and breakfast
Located in Savannah, this lovely bed and breakfast for $103 per night is a great option for your next trip. This studio is tucked behind a Liberty Street row house in the Historic District. Gorgeous granite counter tops in the kitchenette, bar table, queen bed and easy chairs plus large flat screen tv will make you feel at home in this romantic retreat. Bathroom has walk in shower. A 'carriage house' is a behind a main house, which is a common setup in Savannah. The private entrance for this unit is in the Lane (alley) that is technically Perry Lane and there are stairs to the main living space. This is above a garage. The balcony overlooks a shared patio. There is no shared interior space in terms of bedroom/bathroom that is all private for you during your stay. You have a private stairwell leading to your private interior studio. The studio has a mini kitchen, private bathroom with real door, Queen bed and sitting area. The garage below is shared with the owner but when she is out of town you would be permitted to put your car in her spot so just ask! The living environment was very clean, compact & functional. The convenience to all the venues we needed to attend was perfect. Exploring was fun. Shops, restaurants & historic architecture was wonderful. The room is so compact yet comfortable. Bathroom could use a vanity that has some flat space & some more rods & hooks for towels, robes & clothing.

First off this property is clean, has a garage so you don''t need to find street parking and its in a location thats easy walking distance to popular attractions in downtown Savannah. The only things i would say that we not so good was the small freezer doesn't get cold enough to make ice, the street noice is noticeable during the latter hours and the main room doesnt get very dark due to the outside street lamps. However, overall its one of the better VRBO's I have used and the property management was very professional to work with. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at this small but very nice apartment. It is a nicely renovated spot above a stand-alone garage and so felt very private. Everything except the shower head was nice and clean. We relayed a request to the owner to replace the shower head.
We sat out on the back balcony a bit although we were there during an extremely hot July. The air conditioner worked well and it was pleasant inside. The 2 easy chairs were really comfortable for us as we are both under 6 feet tall.
Our only suggestion is that you bring a lamp or two with you as there are only overhead lights so if one of us wanted to sleep and one wanted to read we had to put on the masks. There is not much room on the sides of the bed so each side has 2 small round tables which might be able to have a lamp on them.
We would stay here again - it was quiet, cozy, and clean.

Great location. Easy to get 'downtown' by walking, only 20min to the market square area by foot. Bikes would've made this location/stay a perfect 10/10 so bring some if you have some.

Very convenient location in the Historic Downtown. Trolley tours did pickup/return to our door for a good day of sightseeing. Use of the garage was a nice bonus!

The place was more spacious than expected. Overall it’s small and cozy! Not pristine in terms of cleanliness, but tidy and comfortable. The major star for this stay is the location!! Tucked away from the busiest areas, so it’s quiet. And a 5min walk from anything and everything in the historic district!! Would recommend for a party of 1-2!

We had a wonderful stay! The cottage house was decorated very cute, the mattress was on the firmer side but was very comfortable. Centrally located in Savannah, we were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go. Restaurants, shopping and the Riverwalk were all just a few blocks away. The room was like a studio apartment, nice & cozy for my wife and I. All at a reasonable price.

We traveled to Savannah for our birthdays. Last minute trip and this was a perfect find. Nice price for a nice place to stay that is close to everything!

Cozy and clean, had everything I needed. Lots of natural light, and a little balcony to sit in the sun and relax. Very walkable to local shops and restaurants, and even the riverfront if you are a moderately active person. The stairway going up is a bit long, but not steep and is carpeted.

After circling the block and blocks we finally found a parking spot on Liberty St. We read all the information about this property so we knew that this might happen. Later, after we checked in we called the property management and we’re pleasantly surprised that we could use the garage. We enjoyed our stay the property is well maintained and is in a great location. We will be back!

Great location for a convenient walk around the historic district. Small but has all the conveniences you need - kitchen, lounging space, and bed. Bed access might be tight for larger people but was fine for us. Most comfortable mattress of our whole trip so far. The inside was more attractively designed than the outside front stoop would lead you to expect. Front step area could use a bit of touch up. Owners kindly let us use the garage - a great help.

This property was perfect for my husband and I. We walked everywhere and had a blast. We loved the balcony. Our only complaint was the bed, it was awful. I saw reviews that the mattress was just replaced, but we both found there to be a huge indent in the center that we both just rolled into. If the mattress was recently replaced you’re going to want to invest in a new bed frame. This property is otherwise PERFECT for a couples getaway. The bed situation needs resolved though :(

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights and definitely recommend it. The space was clean, private and well furnished. Although we had a car (which Mary graciously allowed us to park in the garage), we thoroughly enjoyed being able to walk to the riverfront, downtown historic sites, restaurants and even a grocery store. We also appreciated having a washer/dryer, and would definitely stay here again if we return to Savannah!

This was a very nice studio near downtown. Only complaint is the bed. The cheap memory foam mattress was way too soft. Once in bed, you basically sink in and it's nearly impossible to get comfortable. I spend 150+ nights a year in hotels for work, etc., and this was by far the most uncomfortable bed I've ever attempted to sleep in. Otherwise, the the property was great.

This property was absolutely perfect for my partner and I. You can walk to everything downtown, the area was safe, and we got lucky and were able to park in the spot with permission from the owner! The home is perfect for two people, equipped with clean linens and a little balcony to hang out on! We will definitely be returning :)

This was a lucky find and an excellent choice for a quick getaway to Savannah, and Mary was very gracious in accommodating a request to add a day on to my booking. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, out of the way from the touristy and busy parts of downtown, but close enough to venture and explore. The location is just a few blocks away from the fancy Parker’s, Fox & Fig, Screaming Mimi’s, E-Tang, and other pretty solid dining options. Mary was very communicative, and the location was very clean. I was able to use the garage during my stay, but there is ample street parking all over. My favorite thing about this place was grabbing a dee beers at Parker’s and enjoying the balcony at night.

Great location
We were pleased with the "carriage house" that we stayed in for (2) nights as we explored the sights of the city. We walked almost everywhere from this location and visited a few great eating places. The only negative comment is that the mattress needed replacement because of lack of Firmness. (We did see that there was a replacement ordered it just wasn't ready yet!)

Quaint Getaway
My boyfriend and I came to Savannah for a weekend and loved staying here! The property is tucked away on a quiet street in the historic district, and is walking distance from plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes, and shopping. The host was responsive and left lots of restaurant recommendations, shuttle information, and clear checkout instructions. Would stay here again!

Nice Stay
We had a good stay here. Mostly used it as a resting place. It was clean and neat, but the mattress is awful. If you are young and in great health, probably not a problem, but for the 55+ crowd like we are, it wasn’t quite as restful as expected. Also could use a throw blanket!

We loved that the apartment had a digital board for all things about our stay, things to do and places around us - that was really cool I’ve never seen that before it was very handy. The place is also is a perfect location in downtown savannah, very close to everything we wanted to do. SUPER easy electronic access too.

This is probably one of the best locations for a vacation rental in downtown Savannah. Half of downtown Savannah is within easy walking distance, the other half is less than a $10 Uber ride away and the Ubers get there quick (pro tip, walk to the corner to get picked up, the “alleys” in downtown Savannah sometimes confuse the drivers and there’s a nice spot on the main road for them to pull in).
Getting into bed can be a bit of a tight squeeze (the bed really fills up that little corner) but that wasn’t really an issue for us YMMV if you are a little larger.
We loved how quiet it was at night, slept very well.
Definitely keeping this one in mind for our next visit.
