My friend joined me at the house and we went antique and thrift store shopping. The location is ideal for quite a few activities. My mother lived in Kilmarnock for 10 years before moving back to Mt. Vernon so as we approach summer there will be a whole lot more to do regionally. Some have said the yard is not fenced. It has a type of fence that does contain even small dogs. The lot is very large in the back. We were not able to use the fire pit due to the rain coming in. Would I stay here again? I would if I decide to go back to Kilmarnock to shop around.

Amber is an excellent host. She keeps the house extremely clean and her decorating touches make her guests feel at home.

We spent several days at Farley and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the perfect home base for us for our stay. Our only issue was figuring out the tv and how to use streaming apps with it. Really not a biggie for us but might be for someone. Thanks for the hospitality!

This house was very comfortable and clean and perfect for our family. It’s a short walk to nice little shops in the town, and the neighborhood is very nice. We brought our 2 dogs, who loved the big backyard. The fire pit was very inviting, although we didn’t have a chance to use it. There was a slight hiccup with the door code but the host responded immediately and the problem was easily cleared up. Highly recommend this property!

Very clean, cozy, inviting little house with beautiful decor. Comfortable, easy check in, and nice added touches, like coffee pods, Kilmarnock popcorn, water added to the hospitality. We enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for the 4 of us. The neighborhood was quiet and really close to a lot of shops

We loved our stay at the Farley house. Our plans were to go to the Urbanna Oyster Festival. But we fell in love with Kilmarnock and decided to stay local. So many awesome people, restaurants and shops. We also brought our two cocker spaniels which both are under a year and a half years old. They had a field day being sporting dogs. Our groomers are going to hate me. And we really enjoyed the fire pit was used every night. We will be back.

Our family took a quick trip down to Kilmarnock to visit my grandparents who weren’t able to make the trip north this year for the holidays. This house was perfect for our stay and we’ll definitely use it again for future visits to the area.
