This was our first trip to New River Gorge NP and the place was excellent! Well kept up and closely located to all the attractions. A must stay place to choose!

My husband and I travelled from Texas to hike in the New River Gorge National Park. This house is perfectly located for accessing the park. The neighborhood is quiet and very near to downtown Fayetteville. We have stayed at many vacation rentals and this one was exceptionally clean and well stocked. The foliage was unbelievably beautiful this year. We would definitely stay here if we visit again.

Great location -- clean and comfortable. This property is thoughtfully equipped and decorated; it made a great home base as we explored New River Gorge National Park -- hikes, history and great food in Fayetteville.

So clean would definitely stay here again felt very homey. Beds comfortable loved the keurig and ice maker on the fridge. Only thing concerning is the property owner contacted us by phone after we had dropped our belongings off and then left for dinner to alert us that the previous guest had left a loaded Glock handgun in bedside drawer. 😳. The owner offered to have someone come to the rental and pick it up. However my husband is comfortable around guns and we didn’t feel comfortable having someone we do not know come in and take the loaded gun. I would highly suggest in the future housekeepers check all cupboards and drawers to be sure no belongings are left behind. Had this been a family with young children staying it potentially could have not been a safe situation. I know things happen but just cleaning staff doing an overall check would be beneficial.

The home was perfect for our stay. It was clean and close to everything. We did the Bridge Walk, hiked many trails, and went to the Coal Mine in Beckley. Would definitely consider staying again on our next trip to the New River Gorge area.

What a cozy and comfortable home to stay in while we explored the NRG area and many state parks located within its boundaries. We are long time VRBO renters and this home met and exceeded our expectations. The home was extremely clean, well stocked, and was a very relaxing place to come back to after a day in the national park. The owner was quick to respond to any questions prior to our stay and emailed us the day of check in to let us know the rental was ready early. The location is good no matter what area of the national park you want to go to and the town of Fayetteville offers some excellent dining options. We would stay here again and highly recommend this home to others.

We were very happy with our location choice. It was just what we needed for our get away. Communication with the host was wonderful! She was very helpful with our payment process and getting into the house. The property was very clean and exactly as described. Very cute and exactly what we needed. Some reviews mentioned some issues with the parking - parked was right behind the house and no issues at all. We highly recommend the Cathedral Cafe for breakfast. Great Stay!

Stayed here for 1 week in July with wife and 2 kids (2 & 5). House was really comfortable for us and had everything we need (cooking/relaxing/etc). Best part is it is literally 5-15 mins from tons of trails for hiking. Day trips to Beckley/ACE/and more were 30-60 mins which was perfect for small kids. The house is also a half mile walk to downtown (with a decent sized hill in between). But the walk was doable with kids and made for a nice way to explore the town without driving everywhere.

We spent 3 nights here while exploring New River Gorge National Park. It was just right for our needs. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was comfy. It was very close to the park and restaurants. Just note the parking is behind the house, up a bit if a hill.

This Fayetteville B&B is unpretentious from outside appearances but has everything necessary for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Comfortable furniture, good beds, well-stocked kitchen with good appliances, great big screen TV with excellent resolution, black out curtains in second bedroom, wonderful shower head, plenty of towels, a coffee bar with a Keurig that can make a single cup or a pot and beautiful decorative touches everywhere. We were thoroughly pleased and satisfied. We are in our 70’s and ambulatory but the walk from the parking area to the house is downhill and could present a problem to anyone who is less mobile.

Cute little house. We utilized the extra bedroom as a "closet" which allowed our bedroom to be uncluttered and calm. The only thing lacking was a W/D, but that was mentioned in the listing. The house is close to hiking trails and restaurants.

My sisters and I stayed in Fayetteville to explore New River Gorge. The house is in a residential area, which was quiet and only a couple minutes drive from the bridge and main visitor center. It’s also very close to restaurants, a cafe, and ice cream! The property included all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The owner was very friendly and responsive, especially when my sister left behind her headphones. They were shipped to her house within a couple days (thanks again!). Highly recommend!

We spent a few days in the New River Gorge area hiking and exploring there area. Lots to see for folks interested in getting outside, learning about coal mining history of this region and hiking. Trails are plentiful! The house was clean and comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood. It worked great for us given our objectives.

This is the perfect home base for your stay in wild and wonderful West Virginia! The house is so cozy and decorated in a fun mountain theme—we were just as happy staying inside relaxing as we were out exploring the town. Sarah was wonderful, super accommodating, and very quick in her responses. We would absolutely stay again!

This was a perfect location to explore New River Gorge National Park. My cousin and I were very comfy with the 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. The living room had just enough furniture for relaxing and doing jigsaw puzzles. The kitchen had everything we needed. Oven worked great. The heater/air-conditioned was automatic (we didn't have to adjust anything). Had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Quiet neighborhood. Easy check-in. I would stay again.

We stayed here to spend some time hiking in the New River Gorge area. It was a great location for reaching multiple hikes. Easy access to the home. Excellent restaurants in the area - particularly Pies and Pints. Very clean and well-stocked. Exactly as advertised. Would certainly stay there again.
