Our group of 11 enjoyed 3 nights in this clean and crisp lakehouse while venturing to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. It was convenient to both. Well stocked kitchen and every single dish we used was spotless! Truly a treat. Loved sitting on the upper deck with coffee and gas fire table - pleasant view and surroundings. Kids had fun with the kayaks and foosball. Thanks for an easy stay.

Awesome home with fully stocked kitchen. Loved the kayaks. Host was very responsive when we had questions. Very quite neighbourhood and convenient to shopping and attractions. Checkout was very simple. . The steep gravel driveway was a bit of a challenge and more seating in the common areas inside would have been nice. Highly recommend this one and would stay again if we’re in the area in the future.

Would’ve been better if the weather was warmer. Was a little hard to find because we arrived late, and cell service was difficult to get. Definitely a nice property if you need more space.

3 night stay - very accommodating for 8 adults. Clean, relaxing and quiet. Would definitely recommend. The home is well equipped.

We had a nice stay! The house was clean and beautifully decorated. It was a cold few days, but loved fishing off the dock. There wasn’t a lot of privacy or places to put our belongings, but we did enjoy the house overall. We arrived at night. It was difficult to find the driveway without a light.

We loved this property and the space. It had plenty of rooms, plenty of things to do and we loved the openness of the house and the beautiful view of the lake. It was close to bigger cities and the Ark Encounter/Creation Museum which is the reason for our trip! Would definitly stay here again!

Peaceful, clean, very nice, and lovely place to stay. Would go back to this same spot.

We had a wonderful stay. We arrived at night and it was a little difficult to find the property. We accidentally turned into the house next door before realizing we were in the wrong place. The house was clean and updated with lots of amenities. We have already suggested this property to friends who have plans to visit the area.

We had a wonderful time at this home. Sunshine was very easy to work with. We had to make some last minute changes because of inclement weather and Sunshine was so flexible. The house is very well stocked! Kids loved playing with toys downstairs and we grilled on the back deck too. The sunrise on the porch should not be missed! We made some amazing memories! One piece of advice I would give…try to arrive during daylight. The driveway is pretty steep and the entry can be hard to navigate in the dark if you aren’t familiar with it.

We loved this property. There were plenty of beds and places to spread out, since we were traveling with our kids and grandkids. I was apprehensive about the driveway after reading previous reviews, but it was fine to get up with our van (not four wheel drive ).

Our stay was very relaxing and quiet. Everyone had a lot of fun using the dock and very large deck. It was nice and quiet and we saw a lot of wildlife.

The property is very nice and has excellent finishes inside. The location is beautiful. The only negative of the property is the steepness and loose gravel of the drive. One of our vehicles had to stay up on the side of the road. Some suggestions for making this a 5-star. The bedrooms are lacking a chest of drawers or the like and you have to "live out of your suitcase". This was disappointing. Secondly, be sure there are plenty of towels. We had 9 people and we were short towels. We did find some beach towels a couple of us had to use. The other thing is there were no instructions at all. I'm used to finding a sheet or binder which offers information for the local area such as places to eat, places to buy groceries, etc. There was nothing about how to handle the trash or if we needed to worry about trash pickup or the like. We just did what we felt was right which was all we could do. I would have communicated with the host, but none of us had cell phone service at the house and the VRBO app would not allow me to reply or send a message via internet for some reason. Everything was workable though, and we had a very nice stay and enjoyed the local attractions which were easily accessible. We would stay again.

Owners provide little extras that you may have forgotten to bring. This added a very welcoming touch that made the overall experience A+!!! Would recommend staying here.

Nearby amenities, like walmart, Dunkin are closeby. We enjoyed watching the numerous deer, geese and gosling. We also saw crane walking on the deck in front of the house, and even saw a young fox. Overall, if you have no problem with driving up and down a steep drive or steep walk to the water, this property is a great choice.

This property was amazing. The house was beautiful and in a great location. Host was very responsive and took care of a minor issue promptly. The big surprise was the steep gravel driveway. We arrived when it was raining and one of our cars almost got stuck. Caution renting if you don't have 4WD.

Lovely home on a small lake. Very comfortable. Feels brand new. Plenty of space to unwind and just a few minutes drive to and from the Ark Encounter. Lovely kitchen and living space with cathedral ceilings. The driveway is steep with fresh and deep gravel which can be challenging on a rainy day if you don't have 4 wheel drive. We spun some tires trying to get up the hill but thankfully we were able to stay off the lawn and out of the lake:)
