Lakeview Getaway is across the street from Lake Barkley. You will have the house to yourself. 3 bedrooms, two queens, 1-full, 2-twins sleeps 8. Enjoy the comfortable décor with warm antique touches. Digital nomads will love the work space.The fenced back yard is perfect for furry family. Enjoy your coffee on the front porch with views of the lake. Then set out and explore the antique shops in historic Cadiz with year-round events. Go to the Planetarium or Bison Prairie. Try horseback riding, biking, hiking on and off paved trails, kayaking, the best fishing around. Boat ramp near by. Land Between the Lakes has several marinas with restaurants on the water, there are local cafe style, bbq, and Mexican restaurants. If you want to stay in and cook, fully stocked kitchen with double oven….and a grill in the fenced back yard. Entertainment for your whole family year round! Ask about the Kayaks. John and I are experienced hosts w/3 homes near Lake Barkley Ky & a local gift shop/event venue. We are full time hosts. We love creating special places for our guests. We own Stoneybrooke a curated gift/antique shop, hosting creative classes and private events. We fill all three of our homes with "one of a kind" items. This house was perfect for us. It was decorated nicely but plenty of room for our own items. Our pup loved the fenced backyard. We grilled steaks on the gas grill. The filtered water and ice from the fridge was refreshing. We enjoyed visiting the local attractions. It was an all around great vacation with plenty of r and r.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and welcoming and had everything we needed to feel at home. We brought our dual sport bikes and were able to ride the many country roads LBL offers. One thing that we really appreciated was the air purifier in the hallway! The white noise is always something we miss when traveling.
Thank you again for being such fantastic hosts. We hope to visit again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was equipped with everything we needed. The grill was clean and easy to use. Great location with several hiking trails within driving range. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard and walks around the quiet neighborhood. We'll definitely be back. Only thing I would change would be adding some blinds. There aren't any on any of the windows. No one is really around to see you, but it would be nice for the bedrooms so you don't have to wonder if anyone can see you changing.

The owners keep this home very comfortable for visitors. There were little extras that made us feel welcomed. For example, there was a bowl of fresh water 💦 for my dog when we arrived and also some sample size toiletries in case we had forgotten to bring something with us, as well as other conveniences.
The owners responded quickly when I asked a question. I look forward to spending some of my vacation time in their rental next year.

We love the house and it was perfect for individuals traveling with dogs! The house was very clean with new appliances (washer/dryer and refrigerator) made us feel welcoming upon entering the house. It had cool decor (country/lake decor with med modern) and it couldn't have felt more cozy. It was the right size for us even though we did not use the additional bedrooms. We had family staying at a cabin on the lake (they had 20 individuals in one house plus one big dog) which was old dated (it had some type of odor) that would not of worked for us but was just right for that many of people. We could join them for get togethers and leave for the luxury of peace and quiet and a clean environment. We have very busy life in Virginia and for us this was a luxury to have some down time to ourselves. I would highly recommend this home for people who want to visit the lake but also need time outside of the lake.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was stocked with all we needed to enjoy a long weekend at the lake—cotton linens, nice towels, WiFi, laundry detergent, kitchen necessities like paper towels, foil, spices, and more. Really loved that we could bring our pets. They even had treats for our pups! We will definitely recommend to friends and stay there next time we come! Thank you John and Julie.

This was a very warm and welcoming community. The hosts Julie and John were available to answer questions from pre arrival to check out. We stayed for two weeks settled in quickly and it felt like home immediately. We met many people in the community as well as explored other areas near by. We hiked, fished, kayaked, and relaxed in the yard or on the porch. Each morning our walk to the lake was a joy. On the way home we were already discussing when we might be able to return.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautifully decorated, super clean, and in a lovely location by the Lake. We needed a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house to accommodate our family, and this was the perfect place! We hope to visit again soon!

Property was beautiful and as advertised. Host was excellent and responsive. Perfect for dog owners. It is so rare to find a place dog friendly but this one was a winner. Fenced in back yard was great! We would definitely recommend and rent again!

The house was fantastic. We enjoyed the wildlife and the night sky was unbelievable, a stunning blanket of stars and planets.
The owners were great, quick to respond to any questions we had, and we had the good fortune of meeting them. Very nice people. If we plan a trip to the area in the future we will DEFINITELY book with them again. The only issue will be which of their gorgeous homes to book.
We can’t say enough positive things about our experience. 1,000% satisfied.

We didn’t get to spend much time at this property, just a quick overnight. But the location was very quiet and beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with pans/utensils. I would recommend this property.

Me and my wife had a great stay. The house was clean and very pet friendly. The views were beautiful and the fenced in back yard was great to let my dogs stretch their legs. Very close to the lake, highly recommend.

No improvements are necessary. Julie has carefully created and decorated a wonderful home setting for guests. Because she understands vacationers’ needs, linens, household items, and little extras are part of the courtesy she includes. The fenced in yard is a bonus as is the quiet neighborhood. Both hosts are available should a need arise. We hope to return.

This property was absolutely amazing! Very clean and spacious with plenty of room for all 7 of us plus our fur baby. Huge fenced in backyard was definitely a plus so our dog could hang outside with us freely. About 10 minutes away from most stores/restaurants etc. All in all great stay and definitely plan on booking again for future trips.

What a true pet and family friendly rental! They truly thought of everything from kids plates/cups and games to pet supplies like food and water dishes, extra poo bags, and even flea/tick spray for the season. We will definitely be using the Aldrich's for any future Kentucky trips!

Welcome home
This was perfectly located for us to explore the Bison and Elk prairie, the observatory, downtown Cadiz and all that Lake Barkley and the Cumberland River have to offer. Everything in the house was super clean. The fenced in back yard made our dog super happy. There were so many thoughtful things throughout the house and they paid attention to detail. The bed was so comfortable. We relaxed and enjoyed this amazing house.

Perfect Family Getaway
Four day stay at this lovely home was wonderful. The decor makes you feel at home and is beautifully decorated. The appliances are updated and loved the large kitchen table. It was very nice to have the pets which complemented the families comfort. The large back yard fenced in was wonderful for letting the children out to play and a great place for morning coffee . The boat dock is very close and within walking distance and the view of the water set the mood. The host was very nice and accommodating. Was a wonderful time together for my family.

Close to everything
We had a great time, and restaurants, grocery's, gas, water, parks, etc are all within no more than 20 minutes drive. The porch is in the shade in the afternoon, so not hot at all. Neighborhood friendly and even has a boat launch.

We had a great experience…we had a little trouble parking 2 boats but once property owner got with us and allowed us usage of the other property drive way it worked perfect!! Home was very clean, well decorated and slept 4 easy…we got to meet both property owners and they were very nice.
