Located in Georgia, this lovely bed and breakfast for $75 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Get away from it all without going TOO far away. Located just outside the town of Commerce, convenient to Athens and UGA, as well as many things to do in NE Georgia. We are a FARM with many animals - a day on the farm soothes the soul. We love to make your stay fit you to your delight, so if you have any special requests or customizations, please let us know, we are happy to accommodate your needs whenever possible! We offer a variety of amenities to make your stay with us a true getaway with nothing to worry about. Our Birds & Bees Suite is a generously sized upstairs bedroom with excellent views of the farm that includes private bathroom with quaint farmhouse shower, a superbly comfortable queen bed, free Wifi, 40 inch television, microwave, small fridge, and desk perfect for working remotely. We also have a roll away bed that can be included, suitable for children 8 years old and up. There is also an oversize stuffed chair in the room which could be used as a place to sleep in a pinch. We are a favorite for animal and nature lovers! Staying with us also grants you time with our animals if you wish to interact with them - goats, chickens, donkeys, dogs, cats, parrots, rabbits, turkeys, and emus! You are welcome to enjoy the grounds, such as the porch with rocking chairs to watch the sunset, the patio to watch the sun rise as the songbirds sing, the firepit for some smores and stories after dark, as well as the common areas inside, like the living room, which holds our games cabinet full of board games and puzzles and our dining room that is furnished with a dining room set that is nearly 100 years old that has been in our family for 50 years. Every night stay includes a home cooked farm-to-table locally sourced breakfast for each person who stays with us. We use eggs from our own happy chickens and the produce from our property first, then get as much as we can from other local farms if we don't produce it ourselves. Additional meals (such as home cooked dinners) may be arranged and purchased separately if you are interested. Just ask us, preferably prior to your arrival. Thank you for considering us! Great host couple and setting at this nice centrally located small farm. The host couple, Christina and Johnny, were very accommodating to our needs and the accommodations were very comfortable. The farmhouse was tastefully decorated with lots of interesting and unique features. The six-year-old with us loved interacting with the multitude of animals at this small farm setting -- dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, donkeys, goats and emus. A very fun weekend.

The hosts are wonderfully kind and the breakfast is amazing. Highly recommend the French toast. So many fun indoor and outdoor animals - my daughter wanted to take them all home with us! Thank you!!

We were there for 1 night and wish it was more. We had the best experience and loved all the animals on the property. The host was very helpful and gave us alot of recommendations on where to visit.The whole experience was more than expected.

The best thing about our stay was the breakfast. It was sooo good! The bed was comfy, the owners are nice, and its a pet lovers dream. Im not as big of a pet lover as my daughter(shes the reason we stayed), so the pet hair was a bit of an issue for me since it was everywhere. Other than that it seemed clean and was a nice stay.

We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed Christina and John’s company. They were easy-going, and made us feel so welcome. The room was comfy just as the picture suggests and the breakfast egg dishes ( from their own chickens) were delicious! We would definitely recommend a stay here to our friends!

All I can say is that I would definitely stay here again Christine and John made it feel like home met as strangers when we got there left as family when we left breakfast is we're awesome and some of the best food that we had while we were in Georgia they made us feel like we were home not like we were a guest

I came to recharge and reconnect with myself and with nature. This was the lerfect place for both! The suite was perfect and fully stocked with all the amenities I needed. The wifi connection was great and allowed me to work remotely. Christina is incredible! The breakfasts and dinners were phenomenal. She truly has a gift. She and Johnny made me feel welcome and I plan on making this an annual trip!

My husband and I stayed at the farm while attending a family reunion nearby. Christina and her husband were so friendly and welcomingv. The animals were an added bonus and I was able to feed the emus and pet the goats and donkey and also play with the brand new puppy and the other dogs and cats. The animals were so calm and very quiet at night. Our room was very spacious and charming with everything you needed including a microwave and mini fridge. The bed was super comfortable. The attached bath was also spacious. The metal tub shower was a cute touch. Breakfast both mornings was plentiful and delicious with the french toast being my favorite. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again if in the area.

I can't say enough about this charming bed and breakfast. The owners were lovely. Kristina was very responsive. It was much more than a place to stay. It was a true experience. My daughter and I stayed the night before a big event at UGA. We opted for dinner and breakfast. Both were amazing, especially the omelets made from farm fresh eggs. So good! The room was cozy and clean, and beautifully decorated. Most importantly, our favorite part of the stay was the farm. The property was picturesque and the animals were so cool. My daughter and I enjoyed feeding them and giving them all the attention. Such a neat experience! This was a trip we'll remember for years to come.

This amazing property is an animal lover’s perfect stay! The hosts are fabulous and the cooking definitely leaves a smile on your face. Property cats are a wonderful bonus and love to play with you. Farm animals are fabulous as well- this place restores your peace for sure!! Definitely a five star stay!

I enjoyed staying here and Christina and John where great and understanding host. I was able to bring my dog and feel very comfortable about it. If you are looking to get a way for the weekend or longer I suggest checking in and take in all that this and surrounding areas have to offer. I will definitely tell people about this hidden gem.

I stayed for 2 months to get away from NewEngland winter and bicycle. Had the best time and enjoyed all the animals! Food was fantastic as where the hosts ! Highly recommend for short or long term stays. Amenities are easily accessible.

I felt comfortable with Christina and Johnny right away. They're such friendly, down-to-earth people, living out their dream of having an animal farm and Bed & Breakfast. Very inspirational to see!
The food is incredible. In additional to the breakfast, I ended up opting in for dinner every night too because everything was so delicious. For the month that I stayed there, the menu did not repeat! So many amazing dishes to try.
I also loved the animals: both the indoor and outdoor ones.
It was a beautiful month that flew by. I'm excited to see how this place will grow and change in the future as more of Christina and Johnny's visions for it come into being.

My husband and I stayed here on our way up to Tennessee last week. Christina & Johnny were great. They are very nice and welcoming. We felt like we were staying with friends. The food was very, very good!! We were introduced to all the farm animals and fed them. I love all their names they have for all the animals. 🤣.

The room was very comfortable with a small fridge and coffee maker. The bathroom spacious and had a great farm feel. Finally the breakfast was delicious and our hostess very gracious and made us feel like royalty.

Enjoyed my lil 2 night get-away here! Christina and Johnny were terrific hosts…very friendly, easy going and knowledgeable about the area around them. Room had a great view of the animals and a lil ottoman my dog enjoyed jumping on to watch them as well. Super comfortable bed paired with bamboo sheets made for 2 nights of deep sleep. Hosts gave great tips on nearby places to see and I even took Christina’s suggestion on my way out of town and stopped for some local syrup and other goodies!

We visited in order to see the fall foliage. Our day trip to Tallulah Gorge and then Black Rock Mountain State Park allowed us to enjoy the beautiful scenic colors and stop by the historic Foxfire Museum, and shopping at the outlets in Commerce was productive. As for our stay, the B & B was simply charming, the decor adorable, and the hosts were considerate and so thoughtful! The breakfasts were delicious. The room had many thoughtful touches and was very comfortable. We had a wonderful visit and hope to return in the future.

My wife and I had a wedding to attend to out of state, and didn’t want to stay in a hotel. So we began our search. WOW, did we stumble upon a diamond in the rough! Gem of all gems!! Great communication through email. One of our favorite parts, was the overall comfort and privacy. We LOVED every animal on this farm (I mean literally went out in the field and pet and fed them all, and enjoyed the indoor companions as well). We are huge animal lovers, and Christina and Johnny made sure that we were ok with their indoor companions before letting them out to roam with us. We LOVED it.
Breakfast. ON POINT!! Even got a cooking lesson! The owners of this amazing property are truly one of a kind. They are kind, funny, interesting and caring. Will 1000% be going back.

Took our daughter who is 8 here for a 1 night stay. She loved the animals and the shower with the wash basin. The check in was easy and everything was great. Such a large choice for breakfast and Christina genuinely was happy to host us in her home. My daughter was given a token key as a parting gift...she loved wearing the key around her neck on a lanyard.

My friend and I just completed a four night stay over Labor Day 2022. We saw the bed & breakfast had great reviews on VRBO so our expectations were set quite high. Christina and Johnny exceeded our expectations in every way. Much thought and planning went into creating an environment that is comfortable, flexible and well equipped. This would have been a 5 star stay if it were just based on the room. However, the food is fantastic, the property is delightful, the animals are amazing and Christina and Johnny went above and beyond to ensure our stay was magical. I cannot promise your experience will be as great as ours, but I can say with great confidence, your hosts will be committed to maximizing your enjoyment. Make sure to ask about adding home cooked dinners and don't let Hodie and Lloyd hog all the animal crackers!

The birds and bees suite was exactly what I was looking for! The room had great amenities like a mini fridge/freezer, nice TV and sofa chair. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom was also a good size. I loved meeting the animals and breakfasts were definitely a highlight, I loved how the food was locally sourced. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet country getaway.

I can't say enough good things. I stayed for a mo th with my two dogs and I was able to telework daily without a single lapse in access - better than at home. There is a beautiful view of the property from the room and I felt like I was in the country, but was 5 minutes from everything g I needed. There are several places to take nice walks I. Town with the dogs , very nearby and so many options of day trips- Helen and Cherokee NC were my favorite. The bed is so comfortable and I had everything I needed and more. Christina and Johnny are perfect hosts and amazing cooks - breakfast started each day with a reminder that LIFE IS GOOD ON THE FARM! They accommodated my low carb requests and were flexible when I wanted to indulge. I left refreshed and restored and booked a longer stay for next year - this is an excellent choice!

Loved this stay and these hosts! The room was comfy and cozy. The breakfasts they made for us were out of this world. The plot is peaceful and beautiful. The best part of the stay for us was the hosts. Christina and John are so nice and very interesting people. We had a work event that took longer than expected and Christina offered to take our dog out for a walk! Highly recommend and hope we have a reason to come up again!
