About this lodge
Nestled in Maryland, this lovely lodge for $170 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Tranquil lodge guest suite nestled on 3 wooded acres in Myersville, MD. Relax by the heated pool, enjoy the warmth of the fire pit, or walk the grounds and enjoy Mother nature. Minutes away from downtown Frederick and Middletown restaurants, shops, and parks. Visit the local wineries and festivals. Tour historic battlefields. Go antiquing. Take in a round of golf, bike the C&O canal, hike the Appalachian trail, boat on the Potomac River, or go skiing. Bring your fur baby with you to enjoy the activities! Enjoy the peace and tranquility of your private wing of the Lodge complete with a private deck and keypad entrance. The dining area is equipped with a table for four, a gourmet Kitchenette with a two-burner cooktop, mini refrigerator, sink, dish drying rack, microwave, and toaster oven with bake, broil, grill, and air frying capabilities. There is also an ice maker, Keurig coffee station, chopping block, dishware and utensils, heated tile floors, and a beautiful view of the property. An additional mini refrigerator and table for four is located in the loft. An outdoor propane grill is also available for your use. There are two very large bedrooms with Queen beds made with plush and luxurious linens. An air mattress is also available in the loft. Comfy bathrobes, suitcase stands, phone charging stations and plenty of drawer and closet space is available in each room. There is an iron and ironing board in the Aria room. The bathroom has two sections for privacy and soft hotel quality towels. The loft sitting area is equipped with a large 50-inch smart screen TV, sofa, table for four, books and games. Wi-Fi is on an extended network and is available throughout the property. You are welcome to explore the grounds and relax on one of the many benches or tables. The heated pool is available from 9am to 8pm seasonally. The cozy fire pit is available for guests year-round from 9am to 9pm. The pool is open May 1st through September 30th. A large fenced in backyard and waste cleanup station is available for your furry friend(s). Guests have access to their entire wing of the Lodge, the grounds, propane gas grill, heated pool, and fire pit. Please note that this is the only guest suite on the property. There are no other guest accommodations. We clean and sanitize the space in accordance with enhanced cleaning protocols. Dogs are the only type of pet allowed for a maximum of two dogs per stay. We do charge a $50 pet fee per stay. I give my guests space but am always available to help or answer any questions you may have. I would love to meet you and your fur babies! Nice respite in a central location close to Catoctin Mt, South Mountain, Hagerstown, Fredrick, and Gettysburg. The apartment is lovely and has everything for a nice stay, including access to a pool and dog run! Definitely pet friendly. There is a kitchenette, but not a full kitchen.

We arrived, check in was not clear, the description was not accurate, my daughter and did not feel comfortable staying there because the rooms were attached to the main house where the owner and her husband live. I wanted privacy, I wanted to have my family over for dinner but the kitchenette wasn’t what I expected. I spent a lot of money on this place on this place, 300 in groceries and ended up getting a hotel.
The property manager just kept asking if I read her reviews, she offered to give me a room fee refund and then decided she wasn’t going to do that. My daughter and I don’t feel safe!
Very unhappy and uncomfortable with the whole situation.

The family and our fur babies had an amazing weekend at Harmony Lodge. The cottage was ready when we arrived with a full service coffee tea bar, fresh plate of chocolate chip cookies, mini bones and water for the puppies. We even got chocolates on our pillows. The breakfasts were delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The service was top notch all the way!!! Will definitely go back. The location is perfect for anyone who loves to hike!

The unit was clean, cute, and very private. Loved the little back porch to drink coffee on first thing in the morning. The amenities are many and the hosts requests are extremely reasonable. Would definitely stay here again, especially in warm weather to try out the pool.

We had a great stay. The fenced in area was perfect for our dogs to run around unleashed at the end of a day at the dog show. Eliza was friendly and available if we needed anything.

We had a wonderful time at the property. Elisa was a lovely, warm host; we even got a doggie play date in with our pups in the fenced yard. The pool was a treat and the beds were SO comfortable.

We went for a quiet girls weekend to escape the city. At first we were reluctant to book given the property was attached to the owners property. . We had nothing to be concerned about . Amazing comfortable beds , delicious brunch of the owners own creation including figs from their garden. A fantastic fire pit. The deck is extremely private. Property is wooded and perfect for an autumn get away. A close drive to Frederick for a night out if you like. Can wait to stay again . Thank you so much Elisa!!!!

It was a relaxing 3 nights and two days. It’s a small place but cozy. They have two mini fridge, one upstairs and one downstairs. If you stayed for a few nights it’s okay. We brought two coolers to keep drinks and other foods. Maybe in the near future they could upgrade to a mid size fridge.
They had a grill outside which made it nice to grill your other meals. The grill was a bit old. The bottom of it was falling out. But it did what it supposed to do, grill/cook my food. Lol. So if your picky about stuff like that, get over it. It’s a large grill. Lol. I recommend to get the breakfast cuz it’s one less meal for you to cook and it was good breakfast. Kids enjoyed the breakfast too, that’s a plus. No stove but they have the grill. The pool was nice, kids enjoyed it a lot. It’s deep.
Cell phone service was not that good. But we didn’t go there to be on our cell phones so that was a plus. WiFi in the rooms. They only had one tv, upstairs. Again, we didn’t go there to be watching tv or to be on the phones. Another plus to our stayed. So we enjoyed that too.
The owners are very nice people. They will not bother you during your stayed. They are quick to respond to any questions we had. Pet friendly too.
Overall it was a stress free, relaxing weekend. Kids friendly. Pet friendly. Nice porch/deck to relax during the evening/night time. Place some cards/ board games.

My family and I stayed for a week, we loved it. We all had a great time, the property and pool were beautiful. The hosts were very friendly and fast to answer any questions. We would definitely recommend staying, it was fantastic! Thanks!

Good place to stay, but need some improvement
It would be really nice if you don't have to carry all your belongings around the landlord property and can drop your belongings directly to the property.
Also, it would be nice to have kettle in addition to the coffee maker. And the last: it would be much better to have one big refrigerator.

Just Perfect
I needed a peaceful place to get away and to serve as a base for some day hiking and biking trips. This place fit the bill perfectly. The entire area was immaculate and decorated beautifully. The bed was extremely comfortable too! And the setting of the pool amongst all of the trees was just magical. Elisa, Jim, and their pups were the absolute best hosts. I will definitely be back. Best vacation rental ever!!

I mean, chocolates on the pillows and every condiment you could want, an ice maker, tons of books, the comfy robes. I didn't know I needed heated tile floors but now I do! The huge fenced yard is perfect for the dogs. I wish we could have stayed longer. It's also great for remote work; good wifi and perfect silence up in the loft. A gem, for sure. We will be back if we come to the area. Thank you both!!

Just a great place for a late winter getaway. Very dog-friendly! A lot of great touches for us and our dog! Very good breakfast! Located close to several state parks for great hiking with our dog. We would love to return!

Harmony Lodge is a terrific place for a quiet weekend getaway. Cozy, nicely furnished, roomy, and has a great loft area for watching movies or just snuggling on the couch. Pet friendly, too, which is a great bonus. Highly recommended.
