I had an employee retreat in Bend and had two of my employees stay in this cute studio. The place looked exactly like it does in the pictures online and served it's purpose which is mainly for sleeping and if you want the ability to have snacks/small meals in, that too. But it's in such a great part of town that you don't really end up spending too much time inside. It's walkable to downtown, Old Mill and Box Factory with tons of food trucks, wine bars and breweries. It's also right across the street from Jackson's Corner. The only hiccup was that on the second day, the power went out in the bathroom and bedroom. Per their instructions, we tried to fix it by resetting a breaker but that didn't work. They had someone come out the same day to fix it which was great. Communication on this issue overall was great, but there were several hours in the afternoon where I hadn't heard a follow up on when someone would be coming out despite the property manager saying messages had been sent to me (which I never got). But - in the end, it was fixed and they were very apologetic. Check in went smoothly as well other than that I was getting nervous at not having any communication on the check in process up until about 3 hours before we were allowed to check in. I think having 12 or 24 hours notice on how to check in would be better, so guests are worried that something maybe hasn't gone through correctly! Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a great spot in town.

Nice little place with an easy walk to downtown Bend!

Great, modern, clean, safe one bedroom. The bedroom has a door that separates it from the living room / kitchen. Nice, firm latex bed gave a very comfy sleep. Good AC that kept us cool in a hot day. Bathroom is good, but the shower is a bit tight but has good water pressure.
Kitchen is small but perfect for snacks/ small meals. You’ll probably go Directly across the street to Jackson’s for coffee / breakfast Sammy’s and won’t eat in. They also have a selection of drinks for sale and stay open until 7 ish?
Unit is on the corner, behind a tree so it took us 2x to find it and the parking space. But once found it was great.
Bedroom is on a residential, but somewhat busy street with some traffic, but that all dies down by around 6 pm and it’s very quiet after that
Walking distance to the river to rent kayaks and the old mill so if your are doing local things you can bike or walk just about everywhere
Great place!

I was on my own for this trip, once I arrived I didn’t need to start my vehicle again until time to leave. I stayed 3 nights, the weather was beautiful, the little community was so inviting.
I will return, hopefully this little space will be available again.

Nice location and mostly clean and in working order. If the sleeper sofa is also used and left folded out the place becomes very small.
There are a couple of things could use attention and for these I will opt to try another place the next time I am looking to stay in this neighborhood.
The bedroom door doesn't latch, which would be fine for some small groups (myself most of the time), but I had one late evening work call to take and wasn't trying not to wake my son in the other room.
The other note is that the shower could use a different shower head so that it can be aimed down and not at the far wall or door - a temporary fix can be had by running the water at ultra-low pressure but is a hassle to adjust it to still get it to spray. Given that the corner shower is a very small one, this added acrobatics reminded me of budget college housing. The overshot on the showerhead directly against the door hinge is also a long-term problem for the owner as this allows water to leak out if opening the door when the shower is on, which then pools water on the floor and is generally not great for the life of the floor material under the vinyl flooring.
The kitchen is small, and just barely functional for one person. The fridge can be especially challenging to access - I used a cooler for extra items that would not fit. Many who stay here may opt to eat out most of the time - I made all meals using either the cooktop or the toaster oven. Note: a microwave oven was listed, but I don't remember seeing one during my 5-night stay.
A couple of the pans were not washed after previous guests had checked out. This included the frying pan and the broiler pan in the toaster oven. This was fixed by running both through the dishwasher.
I slept on the sleeper sofa, and this is a very comfortable sleeper sofa - was much appreciated. When moving the coffee table to fold out the sofa the first night, I noted the carpet and floor wasn't particularly clean under the furniture. Not super dirty, but enough to notice at quick glance.
Note: There is not much storage space, so if you are there with skis and a bike that you want to bring inside, the space gets tight fast. Also, there was no obvious access to trash/recycling (if there was, I missed it and did not get time to ask the property manager) and so after a 5-night stay, the trash bins were very full.

This is a cute one-bedroom property in a fabulous location (especially for non-winter activities). The kitchen is minimal which was fine for me. Jackson’s Corner across the street is a great plus!

Great stay and a great location :) bed was very comfy

The location is great and the house would be okay for one or two people, but it’s very, very small for a family of four. It’s on a very noisy street which made it hard to sleep at night. Also, my biggest complaint is that the shower is so small it was nearly impossible to take one. The shower head doesn’t move either so it was extra tricky. We wouldn’t rent this house again.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Bend. The place was a nice size for a couple and it was great to have a small kitchenette. Even better was the location directly across the street from Jackson's Corner restaurant. Very clean and comfortable, and a great location, walking distance to many things in the Old Mill area. Recommended!

What an amazing location!
The place smelled like bleach upon arrival (this is a positive for us, cleanliness is the goal). Easy to get around Bend on foot so this was a perfect home base. Don't expect to cook a lot, the kitchenette is small but it was perfect for our needs for this part of the trip.
Really sweet little place. Some noise because of the location, but that's to be expected. We wouldn't hesitate to return to this location and would absolutely recommend it to others.

This place was clean and easy to find. Parking behind the unit was perfect. Loved the ability to walk to the concert I was seeing at Hayden Homes Amphitheater. Would definitely stay at this place again.

Absolutely loved this place! Sits right across from a café that has amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner! Also just a 10-15 minute walk from downtown! Serious the best spot to stay if you’re busting Bend!

This cottage is perfectly sufficient to meet the needs for (2) people very comfortably that want a place to rest their heads after experiencing the many optional ventures available in Bend. The options to walk or drive make this a good central location depending on activities chosen and is very conveniently located to a local grocery store to purchase any desired or forgotten items.

Cute and convenient
The overall trip was nice. The house is comfortable and in a good location for walking to many places. In general, it was very clean, though a few things could have used a check, such as the dishes on the open shelves--some were dusty; some had fingerprints/smudges and one had lipstick. I realize that with a hide-a-bed, sheets get wrinkly, however on the main bed, 2 of the 4 the pillows did not look as though the cases had been changed--they looked wrinkly from use. While it was nice to have info. in the form of brochures and take out menus, we discovered that some of them were old and outdated (ie. a pizza place had changed their menu--years ago--one of the owners mentioned when we ordered a pizza that was no longer on the menu). There is carpeting that is nice, though there is also an area rug (on top of the carpet for protection, I'm guessing). This carpet is old, with stains that blend into it and a massive trip hazard on one side, and yucky-sticky tape coming out from under it on the other. Lastly the shower is utterly ridiculous. I'm 5'4" and in the tiny space of the shower, the spray hit me in the back between the shoulder blades and I had the shower wall in my face; if I turned to face the spray, it hit me almost in the throat. The water had no chance of hitting my legs! So if you're shorter than me, you'll likely have the shower in your face or the back of your head. Regardless of these things, it's a cute place and we had a nice time.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay in Bend. From this property you are within walking distance to Downtown Bend, Old Mill, and River West neighborhoods. The brew pubs, taprooms, amd food carts are very plentiful. We had a great time in Bend and will be back at some point. The accommodations worked well for our needs. There isn't anything too fancy, and suite was clean. We really appreciated the location and would stay here again.

My son and myself enjoyed staying in this small, but very clean spot for 2 nights as we went to ski at Mt Bachelor daily. The linen was crisp, the amenities were perfect and the location was so central that we could walk down to the river and have pizza for dinner at Jackson's place. I managed to cook dinner on the provided utilities on one evening. Though the accomodation is small (my son slept on the sleeper couch which folds out to a full, comfortable double bed) we were comfortable and did not lack any comfortable. We will consider this venue again for future ski weekends!

The location was fantastic! The Deschutes river trail was easy to access as was walking downtown and to the Mill District. Jackson's across the street was amazing as was the Honey Pie that was highly recommended. I would highly recommend staying here.
