An ideal getaway, this stylish 2BR/2BA condo is across the street from the Steamboat Springs ski area and a 2-minute walk from the gondola. Take in mountain views from a heated pool and hot tub. INSIDE THE CONDO This cozy, sophisticated West Condominiums condo is located on top of a small knoll, giving you marvelous views of the ski mountain and valley at every turn. Step inside the foyer, and find a nook area with a bench for taking off your boots. Towels for the complex hot tub and heated pool are stored above, and theres a coat rack for ski jackets. Take the stairwell up to the bright main living space. Here nature-inspired artwork adorns the walls, and the rooms are airy and inviting beneath vaulted ceilings. Please note the fireplace is not operational. To the right, the kitchen has three stools at a marble-topped breakfast bar. Make home-cooked meals with a fridge, electric stove/oven, coffeemaker, dishwasher, and dual stainless sink at your disposal. Light wood cabinets contrast beautifully with glossy counters. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining room, where a handsome wood table seats six below a modern chandelier. Beyond is the living room, detailed with a 42” TV, DVD player, and sound system. A hideaway bed for two lies below comfy window seating lined with colorful pillows. A sleeper sofa and two chairs offer additional seating. Take the stairs to the lower level to find the two bedrooms. The bedroom to the right has two extra-long twin-size beds with wooden headboards and plaid bedspreads. The bathroom across the hall has a tub/shower combination, and the shared master en-suite bathroom to the right also has a tub/shower combination. The master bedroom at the end of the hall has a queen-size bed, 22” flat-screen, a white leather recliner, and a large closet for storing all your favorite winter sweaters. After the slopes, warm up at the West’s Clubhouse Building in indoor hot tubs and an outdoor pool heated to 90 degrees during winter. THE LOCATION Skiers, snowboarders, and snowshoers rejoice! This tasteful condo is right across the street from Steamboat Springs ski area and a 2-minute walk from the gondola. For a change of scenery, check out Howelsen Hill Ski Areas trails, tubing, and terrain park (10-minute drive), and take the ride of your vacation at the Alpine Slide nearby. In warmer months, wander through the woods at Fish Creek Falls Park (16-minute drive), or travel a bit further to Mad Creek (22-minute drive) for absolutely gorgeous scenery. Wet your whistle at Steamboat Brauhaus -- a bar and beer garden, and dine on authentic American fare at the Mountain, both only 2 blocks away. Satisfy your sweet tooth with the many flavors at Ciao Gelato, a 10-minute drive away. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. This rental is located on floor 2. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Communication with Property owner was poor.
No one to speak to on phone during check in process, everything done via text long waits for communication. Internet info given was incomplete. Had to figure things out on our own. Took 24 hours to resolve. I will not rent again through Vacassa, very poor hospitality.

The unit had the best view we have ever had in Steamboat! The upstairs had lots of sunshine and an open layout. The downstairs was a little cramped, but manageable. The kitchen was fine. The hot tub & pool were very nice and close to the unit. We were expecting to have access to the Vacasa shuttle, since it is a Vacasa unit, but that was a bad assumption on our part. The Vacasa shuttle doesn’t serve this unit. We figured out the bus line (which was a little intimidating) and found it to be very convenient. Overall, the unit was very relaxing and conveniently located to the base. We enjoyed our stay.

The unit was in great shape and very cozy. The location was perfect for skiing and being so close to the transportation center made getting downtown to restaurants and bars on the free buses extremely easy. We really enjoyed our stay!

This is a lovely property. Unfortunately snowy road conditions from Laramie to SB precluded our stay
So sorry we were unable to check in and enjoy a stay at this lovely condo due to the snow storm and road conditions between our location in Laramie, WY and Steamboat.

However, the kitchen was poorly equipped, the lighting everywhere was insufficient, and the bedroom closets were stuffed with fans (7 total) and a huge old television. So, there was no place to put our things. The master mattress was very soft and saggy.

Very clean
Nice property with room for two adults and two kids. Possibly rooms for more. Clean property. Easy checkin and check out. There is no laundry at this condo. And if preparing food there are no seasonings (not even salt and pepper). Will need to bring or buy everything you need.

easy walk to lifts. The pool and hot tub area were lovely. I did have some issues getting the parking permit which was a bit frustrating. But, overall a nice place to stay for a ski vacation with the family.

Great views, short walk to Gondola
Amazing views - love the window seat! Love the high ceilings on the main floor and the convenience of the gas fireplace. Short walk (<5 minutes) down a small hill/knoll to the gondola - so convenient. Our unit provided so few dishes that we didn't have enough for the 4 of us to make it through breakfast, lunch and dinner without hand-washing or running the dishwasher. As I mentioned to the property management company, it's time to add a few more plates, bowls, etc. to the unit. The wifi was sufficient for 4 of us to do remote work/school. The property management company was responsive but not all that helpful. The bedroom with the 2 twin beds is quite small. It would have been nice to have drawers or shelves in the bedrooms to put away clothes. The hot tubs are nice and our daughter enjoyed the pool even with 13 degrees outside (and they're a very short 1-minute walk past a few parking spots makes it super convenient to use). Overall, a good value. Convenient, clean, basic, comfortable.

There were fans to move the hot air around, but sleeping was uncomfortable. We would happily rent this again in the winter though.

As you walk into the kitchen the threshold had fraying edges that bled into dingy tile grout and a tile granite countertop covered in a cloudy film. Onto the living room where the couch was almost as fine as those college kids set fire to after chugging beer bongs all night. Next we enter the first bathroom where we found gloriously stained towels and a shower head that did not work and more fifthly tile grout. The second bathroom did not disappoint where more stained towels and gross grout were found. Thankfully that shower head worked. The rental was clean and well furnished and in a great location. It is a little confusing to find with the parking lot and the road to the left. It is an older unit with older bathrooms, however, everything works perfectly.
