About this house rental
Situated in Faubourg Marigny, this lovely house for $160 per night is a great option for your next trip. Our newly built Creole Style double home is the perfect little spot just on the edge of the historical French Quarter, the lively Frenchman Street party zone and downtown New Orleans (1.0 miles equal to 4- minutes driving and an 18-minute walk). We are 6-minutes away (driving) from Canal Street, outlet and upscale shopping malls and many tourist attractions in the downtown and Central Business District area. (Harrah's Casino, Aquarium of the Americas, WWII Museum, The Outlet Collection at the Riverwalk, and upscale fashion shopping located in Canal Place (Saks 5th Avenue, Brooks Brothers, Tiffany & Co. and Ann Taylor). We are located in the historic Treme' area one block to Esplanade Avenue and the street car line on N. Rampart Street which travels to Canal Street. Nearby our home are the historic Louis Armstrong Park and Circle Food Store. In close proximity there’s a Robert’s Fresh Market, Starbucks Coffee and Walgreens drugstore only a 3-minute drive away (1.0 miles). We are a 4-minute drive (1.0 miles) to the Basin Street Station a nearby tourist information center. Our living and dining room area includes a full kitchen with all the appliances and cookware, washer and dryer, central air conditioning and heating, wireless Internet Wi-Fi connection and local cable channels. There is an ADT security system. Two full bathrooms are located in the unit, one on the hall near the bedrooms and the other in the living room area. The private balcony is right off of the living area for your personal enjoyment. For your convenience, there are televisions in each bedroom and in the common area for your viewing enjoyment. All wood flooring throughout the home. In the rear of our home there's an outdoor sitting area. We offer a few emergency personal hygiene items for your convenience (complimentary) just in case you forgot to pack them. (liquid bath soap, shampoo and conditioner and laundry detergent). Please feel free to bring your own items. There’s also a cellular charging station as an extra amenity! Hope to host you soon! Safe travels. There is a large grassed parking lot to the left of the home for guest availability, all we ask is not to block any cars in. **BE ADVISED THIS IS AN UPSTAIRS UNIT**

The house was exactly how it was described and very clean. It’s within walking distance to French Quarter, the bus line and trolly. We were with in 10 min drive of shopping box stores or fast food with easy access to highway. Communication was quick when we had questions about parking. House has a great security system so alway felt very safe. Would 100% recommend and book again.

Everything was wonderful. Property was a described and very clean. Property manager was very responsive and replied almost immediately. If I ever vacation again in Nola, I will definitely be booking again.

Nice house near enough to walk to the Quarter or Frenchman St. Seems to be fairly recently built. The neighborhood looks a little sketchy but everyone we encountered was friendly and I had no reservations about walking around at night.

Condo was amazing-appliances are top of the line-well appointed decor-very very clean-nice towels in bathrooms. The location was close to everything but we found our neighborhood was pretty shabby compared to just a few blocks over which were much cleaner and nicer. We walked everywhere-caught the trolley to go to cemeteries, garden district, French quarter.

It was nice that this property was around the corner from bourbon street and French quarters. The property was nice and clean, no issues with communication from the host. However, if you like privacy and or like to sleep in.. this isn’t the place for you. There are no curtains on any of the windows in the home and the place is mostly windows. We also noticed we didn’t have instructions for Wi-Fi or access to the backyard. They also have the AC set on a set temp where you can’t adjust it. The rooms were warmer than the living area. Overall, we feel as though we paid for the location as we have stayed in much nicer homes that provided us more for way cheaper.

The property was spotless and comfortable. It was easily walkable to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. There was plenty of parking. Excellent communication with the property manager. The neighborhood was in decline with areas of accumulated garbage. Thankfully, it was safe to walk. There were also occasional drag races nearby making it noisy at times. Nevertheless, it was a wonderful property that my family and I enjoyed very much.

It was spotless. So clean and all amenities were supplied. Very quiet except for the drag racing Saturday night. Definitely would recommend this place. If I’m ever back, definitely would book this place!

The property very clean, was always able to reach my host. Within walking distance of the french quarter. Really had a great time. My child stay in New Orleans had not seen her in 3 or 4 years it was really great.

We were in NOLA for a long weekend and this property was a welcome reprieve from the chaos of the French Quarter. Easy 1 mile walk to Cafe du Monde, it was close but not too close, which we liked. The property is immaculately clean, well appointed and all new everything. Highly recommend for anyone looking to spend days on Bourbon Streets and nights at home.

We loved the walkability of this property. It’s in close proximity to Burgundy, Frenchman’s Street, Louis Armstrong Park and Washington Square, and even Bourbon Street if you have decent shoes on 😉 Host was super responsive and easy to get in touch with.

The house seems newly renovated. Everting is very nice. The beds are very comfortable. The house is located a short uber trip to everything You would want to see in New Orleans. A short walk up the street and there is Robert grocery store for everything You would need if You want to cook a meal. My friend left his watch there, the manger texted the next day and arranged to have it shipped back to him. All in all a great place to stay

We had a nice time at this Vrbo for a long weekend in NOLA. We were fortunate enough to be able to drop our bags off early. The place was clean and tidy. Easy walking to the French quarter in about 8 minutes. Well lit at night to help get in. Nice place.

Only complaint was from 11:00-pm-3:00am cars doing donuts (extremely loud!), in the street and blasting music. Sounded like drag races. Couldn’t believe the residents didn’t call the police…no one could sleep.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the James’ French Quarter Creole Style Home. The hosts could not do enough to accommodate us. Their suggestions were very helpful in crossing all things off our NOLA bucket list. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and the location allowed us to park our cars during our stay and walk to the sights. To be perfectly honest, I could not see what I was giving five stars for but the whole experience was a five star adventure. We would highly recommend this home to all contemplating a New Orleans vacation.

The apartment was wonderful. We booked for two couples but it ended up just being my husband and I. It’s spacious and modern with all conveniences. The host had some additional toiletry items on hand for guests -which we appreciated.
The location was great. We wanted to be an easy distance to the French quarter but far enough away that it would be quiet and safe at night. We slept wonderfully as the area was very quiet. We were about 15-20 min walk to bourbon st. And less to Frenchman st so we were able to walk everywhere for our stay.
It’s such a charming city and one of our favourite places we have visited!

Best part of the house was location in terms of proximity to popular spots. Bourbon St was a 15 min walk and Frenchman St was a 10 min walk. It had good restaurants/bars/convenience stores at walking distance as well. Works great if you decide not to rent a car which we did.
The house itself was neat, clean and quite cozy. Adequate supply of towels, kitchen utensils, and basic kitchen stuff.

The property is conveniently situated in the Treme neighborhood very close to the French Quarter. We had easy access by walking to so many different experiences. The property was like new and we had everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable. I would recommend this home to anyone wanting ease and convenience to the French Quarter without being directly in the middle of the noise and crowds of people. It was an extremely pleasant place to stay for our 4 days in New Orleans.

Nice apartment with top of the line appliances tvs and fixtures. Beautiful wood floors and a nice little balcony to sit on. Not too bad of a walking distance to the French quarter. We averaged around 7 miles a day walking. But if you’ve ever been in the quarter you know that there’s lots of walking no matter where you stay because of the lack of parking. Host was pleasant and easy to get in contact with.

The home is beautiful and had everything we needed! This was a perfect location for our trip; it is only a short 20 minute walk to the center of the French Quarter. It was so much fun going out to see NOLA and coming back to such great home to relax in! When we return, we will surely return to this vrbo home. The property was amazing! Updated and very clean. After all the walking we did everyday, it was great to come home to a comfortable bed to sleep in. The host was welcoming and replied quickly when we had any questions. She also offered many suggestions of things to do and see and her restaurant recommendations were fantastic ~ we visited several of them and weren’t disappointed! The neighborhood was quiet and within walking distance of all the attractions visitors come to see. You won’t go wrong booking this property! If we make a return visit, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home and making our stay a pleasant one!

Had an excellent experience. The property was as pictured and very clean. Walking distance to the french quarter made for easy access to local attractions. The host was very accommodating, even with a late change to our booking. Overall, an excellent experience and would definitely return for a future visit to NOLA!
