River front property with beautiful views of the cliff. Fall River is a spring fed river that flows through Hot springs, Evans Plunge and empties into the Cheyenne river. Sit on the deck and enjoy the sounds of nature! Perfect getaway for 2. Snuggled along the Fall River beneath the red cliffs of Fall River county. It has a Carport for parking, garden path to the cottage & beautiful views. This cozy cottage has 1 bathroom with shower, 1 bedroom and an open living room & Kitchen layout. The deck is equipped with 2 rocking chairs for you to enjoy the views and sounds of nature. Downtown Hot Springs is only 3 miles. There you can shop our unique little shops or walk the Freedom Trail through town to view all the sandstone buildings our town is known for.

C&D's Cottage was set up perfectly for my wife and I to have a weekend getaway. We could tell the host went above and beyond making this space welcoming, clean, and comfortable. The sound of the creek just off the balcony was a big bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

This property was gorgeous!!!! The view was amazing and the cottage was so wonderful! It was the best “base camp” we were in. This part of South Dakota was breathtaking!!!!! This cottage was perfect for two people!!!! It is worth every penny Thank you!!!!

Wonderful little gem in the woods. Enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings and watching the deer and turkeys in the yard. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The town leaves a little to be desired, had to drive for restaurants, etc. Used the grill in the evenings for dinner which was nice.

Cottage was spotless. Janice was very friendly in communication with her. Comfortable living room furniture and bed. Great place for a couple to stay. Nice deck overlooking a river in the back yard for a relaxing stay. Location an easy drive to many National and State parks and monuments. We would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Perfect little getaway cottage. Even though the property is right next to Hwy 79 the cottage is set back on the property and behind trees and foliage so isolated from the hwy. Was great to have a car port for my car and the creek behind the cottage was a major factor in selection of this property. The creek gives it a very serene atmosphere. Would rent this cottage again if going to be in the area.

Beautiful cottage nestled into the southern black hills right outside Hot Springs. Quiet and semi secluded property with an amazing back deck that overlooks a babbling creek! Spent hours in the evenings sitting on the deck just enjoying the scenery and the sound of the water. Wonderful for that couple looking for a peaceful getaway! Will definitely be back soon!!

Enjoyed a quiet rest from the routine but more of a rest from the usual vacation issues with normal motels, hotels or rentals Spent our days enjoying the sound of the stream nearby and our nights on the wonder deck watching the stars in the clear South Dakota air. The location was a good place for the center of our activities. We rode on the Mickelson Bike Trail, visited Wind Cave National Park several times to tour the cave and hike the beautiful trails. We swam on a beautiful beach at Angostura Reservoir several times. We loved the view from the cottage deck of the rock and the river. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed.

This cottage is perfect! Gives you the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere, but just minutes from town. We felt very at home, the kitchen had all the necessities for a back porch bbq by the river. The cottage has all the comforts of home. Great location for taking advantage of all that South Dakota has to offer. The hosts were super helpfull and attentive. Can't wait for a return visit.

The cottage is immaculate and located on an amazingly maintained property next to the Fall River. The view from the back deck is spectacular with the river backed by cliffs. The hosts are very cordial and attentive to their guests needs. This location is indeed worthy of return visits.

Everything about this place was what we were looking for, peaceful, cozy, clean, well stocked. We loved sitting on the deck listening to the water, watching nature, and discussing how we would climb the bluff if we were 30 years younger. We would definitely stay again.

We had a relaxing time exploring Custer State Park, Needles Highway, Sylvan Lake and Little Devil’s Tower from this prime location. Updated and well-appointed property with gorgeous view of the river and red rock cliff from the spacious deck. Comfortable bed, too. Planning to come back next fall!

Sweet cabin for two! Comfy chairs, comfy bed, full kitchen, and back deck and yard with a swift moving babbling creek (Fall River) with a backdrop of a towering cliff. Didn’t want to leave - we loved our stay! Five minutes away from a supermarket and ten minutes to town, half hour to Wind Cave Visitors Center. Bring bug spray if you’re coming in July!

If you’re looking for a place with great proximity to the attractions, but yet quiet and secluded, this is it. Pick up some groceries and don’t leave for days, or load up and go a few miles to several restaurant options (better for breakfast/lunch than supper). Kitchen is well stocked. The cottage is very clean and comfortable. Don’t forget bug spray though if you plan to spend much time on the deck. We just opened the sliding door and closed the screen to enjoy the cool air and sound of the nearby river. Hosts were friendly and accommodating!

We really enjoyed our time at this property. It was the perfect location for visiting the parks. The kitchen was fully stocked and the view off the back deck was beautiful.
