We had a wonderful, fun-filled week, with lots of lake activities. It felt like the whole family was in summer camp. We also ate at Pizza Hut right off the water. 8 people stayed in the cabin. Plenty of room for everyone. Our boat stayed down in the slip. Figuring out the logistics of dropping the boat and where to park the trailer was a little confusing at first. It's a climb to the cabin from the boat house. I highly recommend it. We are trying to figure out dates to return next summer!

Cabin was nice, roomy and adequate for nine adults and two kids. Beds were comfortable too! There were plenty of pots, pans and dishes plus a dishwasher. There were a few downsides though to the property. Parking for four cars was very tight. In summer you cannot see the lake at all. Thought I’d take grandkids to the dock to fish with fishing poles, tackle box and minnow bucket and headed down, literally, the path to the dock. Once you get down, there’s a bouncy plank to walk on, no railing, to get to the dock which is nice once you get there. Getting back up the path encumbered with gear was a little challenging for me, hey, I’m a 74 year old grandma!:) Summary: cabin is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, property ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lacks the "at home" touches
Lacks the "at home" touches
My biggest problem with this cabin is that it felt like the owners are cheap. This is in comparison to other cabins I have stayed at that are the same price range, size, etc. A few examples: the hot water ran out really fast, many of the faucets dripped, the towels are really cheap, the pull chains on the ceiling fans come off with each pull, even if you're very gentle, there are not any closets available for guest use. It seemed like everything was just half way thrown together so they could rent it out. A few places have latches on the door, but there are not locks on most of the doors, not even for the bathroom! Plus, some doors cannot properly even close. The table (which wasn't the one pictured) was covered in something sticky. There was random trash we kept finding, under the edge of furniture. There was old trash in the bathroom, including an old diaper. We found multiple nails and screws in the driveway. You could have a chat with the neighbors while on the deck because they are very close together. There is not much privacy, even though it is in the woods. They just added on a new part of the deck with stairs that go down the hill. While that is nice, they probably should have spent their money on things the cabin actually needs. If you do decide to stay here, there is a really cool waterfall nearby (not part of this cabin's property). It was really fun to take my boys up there to explore and play.

Quiet Cabin in the woods
Quiet Cabin in the woods
Great Thanksgiving with extended family. We had 4 adults 6 children, including a toddler staying in the cabin and 6 others came for dinner. The kitchen table seats 8 and there are plenty of seats and a picnic table outside. Everything was as described and just as it appeared in the pictures. On the campground property we walked some trails, used the free laundry room and took a couple soaks in the spa. Everything was maintained and easily accessible. It is a beautiful campground and property perfect for a peaceful getaway in nature.

We rented out the cabin for a Wednesday-Saturday stay as a base to go into Branson. It was an hour drive but we wanted to be a little further out in the country rather than in a hotel or condo. We traveled with our moms who are both in their 80s. It was important to find a place with 2 bedrooms that had minimal if any steps/stairs. This cabin has 2 small steps to get on the ramp that wraps around the side and to the entry door. It has 2 rooms and a bathroom on the main level with the kitchen and living atea so the moms could move around freely and confidently. The terrain around the cabin is pretty steep so they couldn't have walked the grounds but it was rainy anyway. The kitchen is smallish but well stocked and the beds were super comfortable. We wish it was better weather so we could have enjoyed the porch swing more. We had one question before we arrived and the property manager responded quickly. Overall we really annoyed our stay and noted that because of the 2 bedrooms and 4 beds downstairs we can bring more family next time!
