Sail away into a relaxing vacation in this 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom town home located in the coveted Water’s Edge neighborhood. The newly renovated and furnished home is ideally situated in the community with an unparalleled view of the Folly River and nearby marina. Located only one house down from the Water’s Edge community pool & dock, and a quick walk to the beach, you will enjoy the best of all worlds! The first level is a garage from which you can access the house and a ground level patio. The second level of the home houses an open concept kitchen, dining & living area as well as a screened-in porch. From anywhere in this room you can watch the fishermen, boats, wildlife, or the 42” flat screen TV including DVD/blu-ray. On this floor you will also find a full bathroom and a queen bedroom suite with a 36” Flat-screen TV. Up the stairs, to the right you enter the tranquil master bedroom suite complete with separate walk-in closet, master bathroom with jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, dual sinks, a king sized bed and an uncovered balcony perfect for outside relaxation. This room also has a 36” flat screen TV. On the opposite side of the house you will find the third bedroom suite. This room is perfect for kids, but will also comfortably sleep adults. The cozy double bed has a twin bunk bed on top and also includes a pull-out twin trundle bed. There is an additional, standalone twin bed. This room also has a flat screen TV and private full bathroom. Visiting historic Charleston for the day? Walk the Charleston Battery, explore the Market, picnic at Waterfront Park, or take a horse drawn carriage ride through the Holy City. Great location and Property
Excellent location close to many shops and restaurants. Golf Cart rental is a must if you have several kids. Quick ride to the beach or dining. Could walk it if you want to, but wouldn't recommend with several kids. Solid dock that you could use as a day dock if you wanted to keep your boat. Would return!

My only complaint would be the furnishings. A little tired. There needs to be more seating in the living area. Perhaps a sectional and a couch. Some of baseboards loose. ( where trash can is). The toilet in master bedroom noisy. Oil for chains on bikes. ( maybe a tool set for bikes). So basically Just little stuff . We had a very nice time and we thank you for letting us check in early. Perfect location!
Walking distance to downtown Folly and the beach. Pool was easy to access, as well as the dock going out to the inter coastal where we caught flounder, stingray, spot tail, crabs and shrimp.
Screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails, bug free.

Folly Beach is like heaven on earth. Such a fun beach town with hometown stores and beautiful beach homes without tall condos everywhere. My wife has decided we are retiring to Folly in ten years if we can afford it. Highly recommended.

Great Property
My family and I had a great stay at your propety. The house was well stocked and the location was perfect. It was easy to walk to restaraunts, shops and the beach and it was an easy ride to downtown charleston. Our son will be stationed here for the next two years and I'm sure we will visit and rent with you again. I have also recomended it to friends already.

We really enjoyed our stay at Waters Edge 123. Folly Beach is so much fun! The location of the condo is perfect! It’s walking distance to the beach and to the main drag of Folly! Great restaurants we loved Loggerheads and Taco Boy! The shops are cool. My kids loved Dulce Banana (ice cream/frozen yogo shop) and it great you can walk there after dinner! Water’s Edge is super easy to find. With everything being walking distance you do not even need to get back in the car but if you wanted to it’s easy to hop in the car, get on Folly Road and drive to Charleston for the day!Overall the condo was very comfortable! The sunsets from the decks were amazing! We had everything we needed for our week stay. Tons of extra towels and plenty of linens and blankets! It could use a little sprucing up and maybe a deep cleaning. It felt clean we just found cobwebs and dust bunnies. It was really nice having a washer and dryer too ( they were a little noisy though).Other families staying at Water Edge’s were super friendly. We would definitely stay there again! You can not beat the location and the views!

Falling in love with Folly!
We really enjoyed our stay at Waters Edge 123. Folly Beach is so much fun! The location of the condo is perfect! It’s walking distance to the beach and to the main drag of Folly! Water’s Edge is super easy to find. With everything being walking distance you do not even need to get back in the car but if you wanted to it’s easy to hop in the car, get on Folly Road and drive to Charleston for the day!

The house was equipped with everything we needed for our 9 night stay. The view from the living room and master bedroom was beautiful! We did have one issue, the neighbors next to us were being VERY loud (we could hear them over the TV) After awhile, we politely asked them to quiet down, but they began mocking us, cursing, got louder and started playing music. The neighbors were so disrespectful, they even yelled “NIGHT NEIGHBORS” across the deck before they went in. We tried calling the property manager, but there was no answer. I did submit a complaint for noise/profanity via email and never received a response. This only happened one night, so aside from the one Incident, everything was perfect. The property manager has little control over this isolated event, so I’m still giving this property a 5 star review! We would return in a heartbeat and would have stayed longer if able.

For the purpose of our trip it was perfectly fine since we weren’t inside much, kitchen was nice and the bed was comfy. The views of the boats and the sunset from the decks are amazing though!

Great location!
The rental is in great location - an easy walk to the beach and restaurants in Folly Beach and a quick drive to Charleston. The pier is next door and a great place to watch the sunset. The condo was a great space for six adults - the bedrooms were spacious and having three bathrooms was convenient.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at your place! It was very peaceful and the views were great. The sunsets were amazing! We had business meetings in Charleston and it was a great place to come back to and relax. We were able to Walk to the beach and restaurants.

A Destination Worth It’s Location
Sail Away was a Destination to remember for its view, it’s sunset, the dolphins morning swim and the place was a perfect set-up for our two families and kids. Wonderful vacation!

The house looked very much as the pictures showed.
Overall we were very happy with the property. The location was perfect...able to walk to town and to beach if not carrying anything much. The sunsets views were great and the proximity to the pool was terrific. There were a couple of issues that we reported and Dunes Properties were very accommodating. We reported that the cleaning crew had done a less than stellar job and they offered to have a crew come in to clean. Also the parking was not properly explained so that a guest of ours had a boot put on their car. Again Dunes properties agreed to reimburse the cost for removing the boot and to insure that all employees would be trained on the explanation of the parking. There is a slight tear in the screen porch but it did not affect any insects getting in. I would recommend this property for a great location and because Dunes properties appears to be anxious to please and meet the needs of their guests.

Good location difficult parking
My family Had a great time in Charleston. We enjoyed our time at Sail Away Folly Beach. The only problem we had with the property was the parking. The neighbors were always in the way with cars and golf carts. We had to ask on several occasions for cars to be moved to exit and enter the garage safely. The carpet was very worn and the walls were dirty. The location was good and we enjoyed fishing off the pier. The parking was such a diseaster not sure we would book there again.

Peaceful setting with a great view!
Loved the creekside view with a beautiful sunset. Enjoyed watching a few dolphins from the screened back porch as they scavanged for food right in front of us. Perfect relaxing setting!

Wonderful Spring Break week with Teenagers
We stayed in Sail Away with 3 teenagers, plenty of room for all 5 of us . The condo has a wonderful view. We saw dolphins several times close to the dock. We loved watching them. I can't believe they were so close. The condo was very clean and spacious. The location was the perfect. Easy walk to beach restaurants and shops. We felt safe letting our teenagers venture out in town on their own. The town has lots of pedestrian crosswalks. They loved the freedom. We loved exploring the north end of the island and photographing Morris Island Lighthouse and making the easy drive into Charleston. This is a great kayaking location too.
The management of this condo is very attentive . They were always on top of things in the reservation/check in process. We had a brief problem with the wifi, they sent someone out to take care of it. Easy peasy.
We would definitely stay again.

Perfect for families with children, BEAUTIFUL
We stayed at Sail Away for the second time this year and can't imagine renting another house on Folly. First, it's beautifully decorated, has classy island charm, and the views can not be beat. It's so relaxing to watch the tides come and go, and we have seen dolphins in the Folly River a couple times. Even though this house is part of a community it feels private and relaxing.
One thing that makes this house so special for us are some of the amenities that are so close. The pool is fifteen seconds away and is gated- that was important because it's easy to run over there with the kids but we don't have to worry about the accidentally getting in by themselves. The fishing pier also provided us with entertainment on a couple days; plus, there is a playground within walking distance. If you have small children this is the place for you. And as others have mentioned the short distance to Center Street and the beach make all the charm of Folly so very accessible.

The Perfect Escape
We had a fantastic time on Folly Beach and "Sail Away" was absolutely perfect. The property was so well maintained, stocked with all the necessities and beautifully decorated, oh..and the best views around. We loved how easy it was to get into Charleston to do our sightseeing and some great eating, but were pleasantly surprised with the dining selections on Folly Beach. Overall this was a five star vacation, cannot wait to return!

The only thing that could have made our stay better? It needed to be longer!
We had no idea what to expect in arranging to visit for a relative's graduation. What a series of wonderful surprises lay in store for us! Every contact with the staff when arranging the stay was easy, clear, and satisfying.The property photos made the place look nice enough, but the reality was much better. Though my brother and his wife, who drove out to stay with us, had packed an enormous amount of utensils and cookware, we really didn't need to use anything they brought. We absolutely loved the short walk to the beach, the grand views of the river - with dolphin sightings each evening near sunset, and the accommodations. We'll definitely be back, and hopefully soon!
