Our classic, craftsman home built in 1908 is renovated with modern amenities, but boasts early 1900s character. We love this unique space and the history & stories it must have to tell within its walls. Contactless checkin with door code provided day of checkin. This designated vacation rental is equipped with everything you need, along with a community cabinet with some cooking essentials if you choose to use shared items. New stainless appliances, gas range stove, full size laundry, and all new linens on new memory foam mattresses. Large smart TV to stream favorite programs along with a plethora of local channels will satisfy down time. As locals of the Black Hills, we are delighted to share our favorite things to experience, depending on your interests. We have a long history of serving guests in the hospitality industry and have loved branching out in this new industry. Home owners and hosts. There is so much to do and see in the black hills & this house was the perfect central location for us & our dogs to see everything but still have access to stores & even food delivery when we were too lazy to cook. The kitchen had all the tools we needed to make our morning breakfasts & dinners. The house is exactly like the pictures & was so comfy to come “home” to after a daily hike. Thank you!

Beautiful little house that's bigger than it looks. Very nice! The privacy fence around the backyard was so nice for the dog's and BBQ. Will definitely want to rent your house again in the future. The Napier Family

We were rarely at the house, but it met our needs. The host was communicative and prompt with replies. I asked if a specific kitchen small appliance was available and she brought it over before we arrived. (Thank you again!) Everything I needed for cooking was there in the kitchen. Other thoughtful touches included a surge strip in the living room for a charging station and detergent for the washer. The beds were comfortable. The window ac units provided lots of white noise. The only thing we heard from outside were the church bells ringing at 7 a.m. Monday & Wednesday. (Monday they rang for a long time; Wednesday was much shorter.) We'd stay here again! Thanks for a great visit! The location was perfect for day trips to the Badlands NP, Spearfish Canyon, Custer State Park, and Mt. Rushmore.

This lovely little cottage was clean, welcoming and well maintained. Our hosts replied promptly to any questions we had. It was so nice to come “home” to it after a day spent exploring nearby parks and monuments.

This was a perfect location for our weekend stay, during the black hills stock show! It was central to the majority of our agenda! Everyone slept well all three nights and it was nice to have a place to unwind inbetween our weekend adventures! Everything was easily found/accessible in the home and ready for use! Thanks for the easy accommodations!

This home worked great for us. Our dog enjoyed the back yard, but also good sidewalks/neighborhood for a walk. Close to the sights we wanted to drive to, but walking distance to restaurants and coffee. The intersection with a busy street is one house away, but you don’t hear any road noise. Would stay again when visiting family and sights.

Tai is a wonderful host! Her house is too cute and she has great taste! It was very clean! It’s an easy walk to the historic downtown, where there are restaurants and shops. Private yard is a plus for pups. Would stay again!

We needed a place that was close to campus and this was perfect! Quick walk to main street too! The house was very clean and checking in was a breeze. We easily fit 5 and the beds were comfortable. Great communication with the host was appreciated.

We spent three nights in Rapid City. The cottage was in a perfect spot to tour Mount Rushmore, the Black Hills, Wind Cave and Badlands. I loved that we could also walk downtown for dinner and live music. The house easily accommodated two adults, two teenagers and a preteen. I would absolutely stay again.

We visited with our 13 year old granddaughter. The property was well located near downtown allowing us to walk to dinners or shopping. It was equally situated to the sights we wanted to visit. The home itself was one of the cleanest we have rented and pre-visit information from the owners was better than most. If we are back in the area we would definitely look to stay here first.

This home was perfect for our family of 5 vacation. With its central location, you are not far from all of the favorite attractions. The house is decorated so nicely and has everything you need to make meals in. You can walk to the local ice cream shop, Armadillos and other restaurants and shopping in downtown. There was a yard size Jenga game that we played on the front lawn. We grilled burgers one night and enjoyed the front porch. So clean and would stay here again if we came through Rapid City.

I would highly recommend this property if you are in the area. Plenty of room for a family. Fenced in area for our dogs was a plus. Extremely clean and comfortable Centrally located to almost all of the must dos while in South Dakota I would definitely stay here again when we come back to South Dakota

This sweet house was perfect for me and my husband as a base for visiting Crazy Horse, Mount Rushmore, Devils tower, and the Badlands. And then we walked downtown Rapid City to restaurants, breweries and wineries. Owner very responsive to questions.
