A great stay in a beautiful part of town. Had a bit of trouble with the door lock the first time, but figured it out. My only complaint was the lack of a hair dryer, but went out and bought one that is better than the one I have.

Stay was perfect clean and quiet. I was traveling for business and needed it to be seem less. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Only minor suggestion I would give is more pans to cook with and a hair dryer The pan that was there was beat up and lopsided and challenging to use. Thank you for hosting me

I'd say it was the best VRBO property I've stayed at over the years! Clean (and I'm known to be something of a clean-freak!), comfortable, felt very safe. It was my first solo trip since my husband passed so needless to say I was a bit nervous. Couldn't have asked for a more welcoming little cottage.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Dallas property. It was centrally located to all the destinations we like to visit, and it was very clean, comfortable, and secure. We will use this property whenever we visit Dallas.

This home was very convenient for our family and we were able to bring our dog at the last minute. Shops, restaurants and great walks are all minutes away. We attended a Stars game and it was so easy to drive to and from the American Airlines Center. We will definitely stay on Avondale again. Great host!!

We loved staying here. It was convenient, safe, quiet and comfortable. We are exhibitors at Dallas Market so it was about 7 mins away. Joel was extremely accommodating. Definitely will stay again.

Short but Sweet
My husband and I really enjoyed our little vacation at Joel’s place! Location is very convenient to nearby shops, restaurants and local attractions. He is an excellent host and it made us feel like at home. We found our little hidden gem in Dallas and we will defintely be back! Thank you so much Joel for accommodating us!

The property is as advertised. It is not a perfect cottage, but the location and price make it worth it. We would stay again. Easy check in, and we were able to check in a tad early which helped. The location is right near the Katy trail so you can get some exercise before exploring the area. We walked to the Ice House a casual beer garden at one end of the trail. Walking distance or a short drive to many great restaurants. Nice safe area and Joel, the host is awesome. Extremely easy to work with.

Great location and perfect size
We had a wonderful stay and loved the place. It's got great charm and everything you need for a couple to stay comfortably. Joel was a pleasure to work with and was a great host. We would certainly return for another stay!

This cute little house was everything we needed to spend a stress free weekend in Dallas. Few little things that could be improved, but overall a great place to stay.

We stayed for 1 week and it was ideal! Joel and Elizabeth are great hosts and the location/accommodations were perfect for us and our small dog.

Perfect guest cottage for our stay
My sister and I stayed two nights and were very happy with the accommodations. The cottage was clean, nicely decorated and in a central location in Dallas. The check-in/check-out process was super easy and Joel was very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again!

A clean and comfortable property located in an upscalish neighborhood; great for exploring uptown Dallas and surrounding areas. Host was friendly and responded in a timely manner to messages. Would highly recommend.

Quick stay while out of our house for remodel. Small guest house in a great location, walkable to many stores and restaurants.
Backyard was great for our dogs and the putting green was good entertainment too.
