You'll be one block - a two-minute walk - from the sandy shores of Folly Beach at this comfortable, elevated home, ideally located within easy strolling distance of all the shops, eateries, and recreational outfitters on Center Street. This free-standing home offers plenty of parking and privacy, central air conditioning to keep you cool on even the warmest of summer days, and high-speed WiFi and cable TV for your at-home entertainment. Leave the day's swimsuits and towels to spin in the private washer/dryer in the basement, and spend the afternoon sipping cold drinks, sharing snacks, and playing cards on the spacious screened-in porch with two dining tables. There's a fully equipped, remodeled kitchen with granite countertops to assist in preparing dinner each evening, as well as an elevated sun deck where you can take in the golden hour views. What's nearby: This family-friendly home sits one block back from the beach, so your toes can be in the sand in less than two minutes. In the summer months, Charleston County Parks & Recreation provides two lifeguard-protected swimming areas on Folly Beach - one on the front beach and a second on the far west end at Folly Beach County Park. You'll also be three and a half blocks from Center Street, the main hub of Folly Beach that's lined with restaurants, eateries, shops, and recreational outfitters. Things to know: High-speed WiFi Full kitchen This property is managed by Vacasa South Carolina, LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. This was our 9th year renting on Folly and this house was a disappointment. The location was perfect; block and a half to the beach, 2 blocks to Bert’s, 4 blocks to Center St.
The overall feel of the house was shabby and worn. The back door had rot damage on the bottom, the fixtures had wear spots on them, screen porch had loose screens - so bugs came in, washer and dryer were old and in the basement - musty smelling.
Location is the house’s best feature.

We arrived about 3 weeks after hurricane Ian blew through. The property held up pretty well with only a few screens missing from the front porch. It could use a little TLC.. but still very nice.

It was just the right size and in a good location. We loved the front porch but found it disappointing that most of the screens were missing or broken. Kitchen was great! Lots of character in this house but it needs some work. Laundry is located in the musty basement and the smell of mildew was too strong. The 3rd bedroom had cardboard covering one of the windows. One queen bed was very comfortable, the other was rock hard. We probably wouldn't stay in this particular location again.

Very good location but dreadful interior and hardware in tub/shower was literally falling off and not working properly. Good thing we were able to even get the water to shut off. Terribly overpriced for what it was, I felt robbed after leaving. We rented another house several doors down and just stayed there 90% of our stay. Won’t rent this property again unless it’s renovated!

The house and furnishings were very clean, cozy, and comfortable. It was the perfect size for the two of us. Everything we needed was provided. Lots of info left by the host on the area, places to eat/shop, and things to do. Short walk to the beach, bars, restaurants, and shopping. Loved sitting up on the sundeck. Hope we can visit again soon!

This house is located within walking distance to Center St, and also has very close beach access. The home was perfect for 3 adults. Nice size patio, off street parking, decent kitchen (we didn't do any real cooking - too many restaurants to enjoy!) We will be back, we love Folly!

House is pretty cramped for two couples and rooms are close together so impossible to not wake people up at night. Would be good for parents with 2 or 3 kids. Will try a new spot next time. Vacasa is very responsive and helpful otherwise.

Great location! Short walk to the beach but still able to walk to the restaurants and shops in town. There`s also a great pirate-themed playground a few blocks away. Many items provided that we`ve had to bring ourselves to other beach rentals - linens, towels, toiletries, trash bags, hand and dish soap to name a few. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning to Folly Beach!
