The house was very cute and well kept. It wasn’t too far from the water, but also not too crazy far of a drive to the main downtown areas. Simple to drive to! It was a nice quiet neighborhood!

There was a problem with the power but it was resolved within an hour. Also an issue with venting on A/C unit in back bedroom. Property manager was in communication regarding the issue but we were able to fix it first. Once those were resolved had a great stay. Boat ramp down the street, plenty of parking for our water toys and fully stocked kitchen.

Our group of friends (20s and 30s) had a great experience at this home. The listing and amenities were accurate. The kitchen has adequate supplies. The outdoor fire pit is an excellent touch and firewood is easily available/provided. Wifi was reliable. The beds and couches are comfortable. Water pressure is good. Air conditioning is by window units. No dish washer. The owner and manager are continually working on updates/upgrades/improvements for the comfort and benefit of their guests.

We stayed here over a long weekend with 2 adults and 3 children. The place was easy to find and is located in a quiet neighborhood, but is still close to all the major attractions including, a state park within walking distance with a playground. The house was cute, cabin like, and welcoming. As others have mentioned the front door is jammed so getting it unlocked takes some jimmying of the door handle. We found keeping the house cool was quite difficult. The breakers were unable to support all the fans and two AC units running at the same time. They consistently blew until we finally quit running the AC unit in the bedroom. It took some searching to find the breaker panel to reset it as there is no direct contact information for the owner or the management company. If other's need to find the panel it's on the top shelf in the bathroom closet across from the toilet. There was no carbon monoxide detector (at least that we could find) so we went out and purchased one so it should now be equipped with one. There were a few other safety concerns considering we had small children with us including, an old shower closet in the bathroom filled with insulation (this could easily be fixed if the owner added a bolt lock to the top of the door), and a window AC unit precariously propped up outside by a piece of wood. Overall we would still recommend this location. It was a good price for the size of the house, and was well furnished. Additionally, the neighbor has free range chickens which were a source of entertainment for the kids with their nightly visit.
