When you want to venture out a bit, make your way into downtown Galveston (six miles) and visit the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier. For some fun closer to home base, check out Moody Gardens or Schlitterbahn Waterpark Galveston. Things to know: Shared pool Beach access Snowbird-friendly *Please note that there is an additional fee for the resort amenities which varies by season and length of stay. This will be built into your fees at booking. **The HOA counts all guests towards occupancy regardless of age. Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The property was very clean and easy to access. Communication with management was quick and easy and management responded quickly and helped us when we needed it. Will definitely stay again.

Our family lost our monarch in early October then our youngest son had to have a hip replacement so we truly needed some RR and found it here. There are so many things to do on the property coupled with just watching and hearing the ocean. Our stay was a 10.

Our family of 17 stayed at Diamond Beach Resort (in multiple condos) over Thanksgiving week. The resort was wonderful and everyone was so helpful. We enjoyed the hot tubs, private theater, game room, gym, etc. The condo itself was well stocked with everything we needed and was very comfortable. We’re already talking about coming back next year! Thanks for allowing us to use your beautiful place!

The condo was perfect for our recent stay in Galveston. Super comfy furniture and beds. When a minor issue came up, Vacasa was quick to respond to make things right. As we are from Houston, will definitely be renting this condo again in the future.

From the moment we walked in, we were on vacation and pleased with the condo! Very secure and safe. Condo was nicely furnished and had everything you need including w/d. View was great! We enjoyed the pool and lazy river very much. We were sad to leave today but will be back for sure!! Thank you for sharing your lovely condo with our family.

This place was amazing, perfect location right on the water. Just a short walk to the beach and a pool an lazy river even closer. Would love to come back someday!

Sofa, Dining Chairs, Living Room Pillows and Outdoor Cushions were very stained and needed a deep cleaning or replaced. Mattresses in Bedroom 3 with the bunk bed had plastic protectors on them that made a very loud sound every time you moved making it hard to stay asleep. 2nd Bath sink had no drain stopper which made it very nerve racking to rinse contacts. Trash can bin lid in kitchen wouldn’t close. I have stayed at other units in this resort and found them cleaner.

We loved the condo. My kids all had plenty of room and we loved the master bathroom. Galveston was windy this week, but we found plenty to do.

We stayed at this property during our winter break. We caught a great stretch of weather so we were able to enjoy the beach and some of us the ocean. The condo is as described, owners are very responsive. The kids enjoyed the free game room, the adults as well. Golden Tee was a hit ( not shown in pictures). We reserved the movie room one night which was fun and went in the indoor pool & hot tub every day.
There is a strip mall across the street with a great restaurant (Seafood Grille) , bar and a coffee shop.
Condo was very clean, lots of kitchen supplies and enough TP and paper towels for the 3 night stay. It could have easily housed another family with a huge bunk bed in one room. Would highly recommend, great stay!

This condo was represented well by the pictures. It was very nice and mattresses were super comfortable. Unfortunately, most of the kitchen blenders, food processors, etc. did not work. Not a problem if you weren’t planning to cook. The oven worked OK just ran hot. Stove top worked fine. The description says they provide towels but they only provide bath towels and not enough for the total number of people staying. Bring your own beach towels! Bring your own pool towels!

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this unit and have stayed in many at diamond Beach. If you plan on doing most of your cooking at the condo this is the place for you. Kitchen was so very well stocked with all appliances dishes pans bowls etc.
It’s taken care of by Vacasa so be sure and bring your own laundry detergent dishwashing stuff, paper towels and tissue. They leave enough to get through the first days.
Internet and cable were excellent. TV in every room. Beds could use a few more pillows but are comfortable.
Diamond beach provides carts to unload your car and roll all the way to the condo front door. AWESOME
Diamond Beach has a large playroom for the younger children and the indoor heated pool at winter was perfection. Diamond Beach has added an arcade room which we used every night. They also have a large theater room that you can pick one of their movies and a time and they will put it on for you and your family.
We will be back to this unit!

We really enjoyed staying at this property. We were visiting with my two children and mother in law. The condominiums are wonderful and we were able to enjoy many of the amenities, including the outdoor pool! The only complaint I have about this particular unit is that the sliding glass door to the balcony did not have a lock on it and the vertical blinds that covered the door were broken so we were not able to open them. We were having to go through them to get on the balcony, and were constantly keeping two toddlers out of them. The lock on the door is a huge liability issue. We let the property management company know about this as soon as we got to the unit, and unfortunately were told they could not address it until the day we checked out. They did send someone to look at the problem, but it was never resolved. The only other thing that bothered me was there was no hand soap in the unit at any of the sinks, and the bedding could be updated. Not a necessity, but always a nice touch, especially when staying at a property as nice as this one.

There were four women on this trip. Our condo was very comfortable and well decorated. The views of the gulf and pool area from inside and on the balcony were great. Beds were comfortable as well as the couches and chairs. The kitchen was well stocked. We would have appreciated a sponge or wash cloth in the kitchen. The place was very clean.
. Diamond Beach Resort was nice. There are several extras but we mainly stayed in our condo since it was November.
We would definitely rent this condo again.

The view was fantastic the condo was roomy and well furnished. The only negative thing is there are some stains on patio cushions and dining chairs that need cleaning. Except for that I loved it. 2 coffee makers a drip and kpod was great. Kitchen was well stocked. Ice maker worked. Washer/dryer a plus. Free arcade machines and pinball fun. Inside pool great due to raining weather conditions. Location and price a terrific bonus

My family and I recently stayed 3 nights. The condo was exceptional as was the entire resort. The condo was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the huge outdoor pool and lazy river. Beach access was an easy short walk. My grandson loved the game room. We have stayed at a lot of different condos and hotels when visiting Galveston and this place is the best. Look forward to next year.

This was our first time visiting Diamond Beach. Our unit was beautiful and well appointed, not one complaint about this unit.
The lazy river was amazing and enjoyed by all, The pool is gorgeous and so big you can almost always have a spot pretty much to yourself. It is a little more pricey than we are used paying on the east end of the beach where we usually stay but the ameneties make it well worth the extra money.

This condo was gorgeous and very well appointed. It was clean upon arrival and had everything we needed for a short stay.
Pros: A large 6-seat dining table and plenty of couch/loveseat/chair seating in the living room. Beds were comfortable. Two large bathtubs. Resort is gorgeous with awesome pools and easy walking access to the beach.
Cons: Nothing negative about the condo or property except that the water slide at the pool was never opened during our stay. The kids were disappointed in that.
Otherwise it was an incredible stay!

A Month of Fun
We rented this unit so we could spend some quality time with our son and family who live in S.E. Houston. Our twin five-year-old grand daughters loved the place, and so did we. The amenities were enjoyed very much by all, especially the pools and lazy river. We had no significant issues with the unit at all. It was clean and very functional. We had to have the hallway bathroom worked on a couple times (leaky stool, installed new rubber flapper in toilet and A/C condensation was very drippy once). Altogether, we had a wonderful time and would consider renting again.

The photos are dated ~ the entire condo has been completely updated and is so fresh and inviting. Far nicer than we were expecting, which was great!!
Check-in on 2nd level to get keys. Park inside the underground area but go to the far left side. The elevator isn’t as busy and it’s slightly closer to the unit.
The overall property has a ton of amenities and is really well managed. Also secure/safe with fob access required to get into building, pool area, etc. Incredible views from the outdoor deck; I was worried that the seawall road would be in the way or an eyesore, but not at all.
Beach access is literally steps away; walk through the gate on the far right side near the sand volleyball court and walk 20 steps down a path and you’re there. If you plan on spending lots of time at the beach, be sure to bring along chairs, umbrella, etc. We expected there would be one of those beach chair rental companies and there was not.
There’s a small strip-mall across the road behind the building with a gas-station-type shop and a local coffee shop, but it’s a pretty busy road and not real easy to cross. We did have a small delivery of groceries through doordash one evening which was convenient. But plan on needing your vehicle to get everywhere. Still 100% worth it versus the other places that are across the street from the beach but can walk to shops etc. Everything here was quieter and less busy compared to what we could see at all the others.
I would also suggest bringing along an Amazon fire stick to do streaming for movies etc in the evening. Easy to setup and connect to the units WiFi.
Finally, my only complaint is that there was no toilet paper in the unit when we arrived. I’m sure it was an oversight, but kinda inconvenient! Tried to email the company that does the vrbo (Vacasa), but didn’t get a response. We went and got our own, so not really a big deal. I also suppose we could have asked the folks on 2nd floor and they would have had some.
In Galveston, go fishing and dolphin tours with SeaPlay Charters. Go golfing at Moody Gardens. Eat at Katie’s and HuliHuli. FishermansWharf and Salsas restaurants were underwhelming.
Overall this was an A+ experience for us. Our first trip to Galveston and the property was everything we had hoped for. Clean, inviting, secure, accessible, and comfortable! Highly recommend!!
