This updated 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom private villa is situated beside the slopes, on-property in the heart of Massanutten Resort! Enjoy the updated ambiance, vaulted ceilings, private back deck, wood burning fireplace and more. Perfect get away anytime of the year! You will enter the house on the upper level. The kitchen, dining and living spaces are on this level. The lower level has two bathrooms and three bedrooms. The house is pet friendly but guests must get prior approval before arrival and pay a $100 pet fee per pet. Spend time in one of the nicest resorts in Virginia, not just a ski resort but truly a year-round destination. Of course there are amazing winter sports, with 1,110 feet of vertical - the most in Virginia, Maryland, or Pennsylvania. The resort includes 14 trails, all lit for night-skiing as well and offers ice skating and snow-tubing. But don’t forget about the golf, mini-golf, go-karts, bungee-jumping, zip line, mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, spa…and the INDOOR WATER PARK open all year-long. The Shenandoah River can be accessed from only 5 miles from the Resort entrance. Spend a day fishing, tubing or kayaking on the river!

Nice location! If you’re a light sleeper, the massanutten crew (snow machines and vehicles) preparing the slopes for the mornings work in the middle of the night and it’s noisy. But, the beauty is you are close to the slopes! Nice stay. Appreciated our time there.

My family and I made a trip to the Shenandoah valley for business and vacation, and we had a wonderful stay at Tree Top. Mary was great to communicate with, and the place is in such a beautiful spot near and overlooking the ski resort. There are so many peaceful and scenic places to walk. When you step in the door you find it well appointed and tastefully decorated so as to make you feel relaxed and at home! The upstairs is very well laid out with lots of space for making and enjoying meals, and the living room large with lots of windows to enjoy family time and chill. The downstairs is perfect with plenty of beds and two full bathrooms! (a must have with a large family). The kids thought the Atari arcade was so cool, and we loved seeing all of the friendly deer. Having such a roomy and comfy place to stay for two weeks really impacted our trip, and made my wife and kids so much happier; especially during the business part of our stay. Thanks Mary!

I can't emphasize enough how great it is to be able to spend the work week in an actual house rather than a hotel. From the second I walked in I felt at home. The condo is very clean, there is an abundance of kitchen tools, and plenty of towels. As someone who travels for work weekly, this unit was perfect.

This cozy welcoming home is halfway between two sides of our family. It has become a new tradition for the seven of us to "meet halfway" for a mountain getaway and we love this house! The kitchen is well stocked and roomy enough for us to cook together as a family. There is plenty of seating for movie nights and we look forward to coffee by the fireplace watching the sunrise across the treetops. Absolutely will stay here again!

We were here for a wedding in Luray. We have family in the area but it was a 40 minute drive to get back and forth where we needed to be. Overall, I was pleased with the property. The beds are so comfortable and was the best 3 nights sleep I've had in a long time. We had family game night with the games provided. Waking up to deer right out side every morning was a treat. The firepit was a hit and we all enjoyed smores while sitting out on the deck. There were a couple issues we encountered and the host got back to us promptly and was taken care of. My only fear was driving up and down the mountains in the dark.

The location cannot be beat as it is a super short drive to Base Camp and the adventure park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for our fall family getaway to the mountains. Our 2 year old felt right at home with the toys and bunk bed, and we enjoyed the fire pit on the deck after she went to bed. The primary bedroom was very comfortable!

Owner was worried about previous guests who caused a mess, however the place looked fantastic when we got there. We spoke with Mary and she was extremely sweet and helpful. They had just installed a new King bed the day of our arrival. The place was cleaned very thoroughly and exceded our expectations. Very good location on the resort close to many other dining and attractions. The asteroids gaming console was a huge benefit, even though I could not beat the high score. Overall would 10/10 recommend

We were looking for a little weekend get away and we found the perfect place! Highly recommend this pet friendly property! Hosts provided swift communication to questions we had. We were able to enjoy the gorgeous mountain area from the two porches, one of which is screened in for pets. Will definitely keep this location in mind for the future!

My son, daughter in law, daughter, son in law and 3 grandchildren ages 4, 5 & 6 stayed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The property was perfect for us and all the extras we needed. We were within just a few minutes of everything we had planned on doing with the girls ~ water park, hiking, putt putt, summer tubing, playgrounds and bear factory. Each morning and evening we walked out on the decks and the front door and were greeted by many beautiful deer. Saturday night we all sat around the large table and played games for hours. We cannot wait to return.

Great place to stay for a ski weekend - easy parking, nice kitchen, clean, cozy and the kids enjoyed the toys that were there. Easy to drive to the ski parking lot. Would definitely recommend/stay again!

this unit needs some TLC. Great location and has lots of potential but needs a good scrub. It was not advertised as pet friendly and the minute we walked in the dog bowls and mats were on the entry bench. The washer and dryer do not work. the bedrooms need curtains and the whole place needs painting badly and there are some real bad spots where water damage has occurred .on the ceilings The bedspreads are summer weight and were not adequate for warmth at a winter visit. The couch is badly faded, The firepit was also not functional.

Seemed like a nice family that shares their home with others. Definitely quick drive to drop off kids slope side, when there's enough snow. The trail did close for lack of snow on our visit. Was clean and beds comfortable.

The garbage disposal and dryer were broken when we arrived. The heater was incapable of properly heating the home. Owners claimed it was a system failure, but there were space heaters all over, leading me to believe they were aware the heat system was not adequate and they rented it to us anyway. They were responsive and did agree to a refund after we woke to 46 degrees on Christmas morning and said we could not tolerate the cold any longer, deciding to leave 2 days early. We should not have been placed in the position to deal with all their broken appliances in the first place.

This is a great place to say if you want to be close to Shenandoah National park. It was clean and quiet, perfect for relaxing. The kitchen was stocked but if you don't want to cook there are plenty of food choices just outside of the resort. There was a discrepancy in the listing but the owners updated it as soon as I alerted them. They are very responsive if you need them.

Overall the property was satisfactory. The upstairs is perfect for a small group to socialize and hang out together, but there is no bathroom on this floor. The lower level had 3 bedrooms and 2 small rather outdated bathrooms. The last few to shower each morning did not have any hot water, but otherwise the bathrooms were functional. You are up in the trees so I was a little disappointed that there was no view of the mountains from this property. Communication with the owner was sporadic, but she quickly responded to deny a slightly later check out. Overall the home served its purpose and Massanutten is beautiful. However, for the price, you might shop around for other units nearby that are more updated with mountain views.

We had such a nice stay for parents weekend at this lovely mountain home. We chose it because it looks so clean and we could bring our dog. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have game night in the living room. The kitchen was large and well equipped. We would definitely stay again!

What a gem to find Massanutten Resort! So many activities to be had, we particularly enjoyed the waterpark!! And food was great on the resort! We loved the ribs at the BBQ place (and I'm pretty picky on my ribs!) and loved Base Camp! The house was perfectly set up for a family of 4 and very accommodating for a dog, Mary the owner even actually had a welcome basket for our pup! The house is located in a great spot, we officially named it our Tree House as you felt you were one with the trees sitting on either of the back porches! One porch was screened which was nice to avoid the bugs! I would certainly recommend this place!
