Down the road from the lake the "Bait House", decorated with a charming fishing theme, is a story of it's own. A one of a kind tiny house, rustic, yet comfy and cozy with a unique outdoor shower. Step out the door and into a hot shower. For extra FUN also rent our bunkhouse full of beds or an RV site The property has LOTS of space outdoors, BBQ grill, lighted entertainment and kid play area, plenty of chairs and tables for enjoying the fantastic sunsets, nature, firepit, pet friendly too. The space Only 10 mi to Marble Falls restaurants and breweries, minutes from several recreation areas, an adventure park, and wildlife refuge. Shaffer Bend trails and the lake down our side road. It's close to the Texas wine country too! Guest access Need more sleeping space? Rent "Angel's Landing Bunkhouse" with extra beds for sleeping 6 more people, warm or cool and comfortable. There is also "Cowboy Sunset" tiny home for 4. If you need RV space, there are full hook ups too. Other things to note This property is still being developed, so new things always to come!

We love this place? The owners and family are beautiful kind people. The grounds are a birders paradise! Beautiful wildflowers and butterflies! And so many lightening bugs at night. So beautiful ❤️. The accomodations were lovely.

The Bait House was a great place to spend a few days while exploring the hill country. I had everything I needed, and it was very clean. Nancy and Kent were great hosts. I would definitely book again if ever in the area again.

My partner, our two pups, and I had a lovely stay at this tiny little home. It had everything we needed including gorgeous sunrises and all the kitty cuddles we could ask for! We were a bit surprised that the other homes and RVs were so close together, as we were hoping for privacy and little more freedom for our dogs, but we got over it pretty quickly as we enjoyed the quiet mornings with butterflies feeding from the sunflowers all around the home and a gorgeous park and lake just around the bend. The park was absolutely breathtaking and allowed for infinite grasses and waters for the pups to enjoy full force without a crowd.

Very cute, comfortable, well maintained cabin with all the basics. The space is part of a larger RV/Cabin resort called the Orrasis. Interior photos on vrbo are accurate. Shaffer Bend Recreation area is just down the road and a nice place to hike. Easy drive into town of Marble Falls. Hosts are lovely and it's evident they take pride and joy in their land. They went out of their way to accommodate my electric vehicle charging needs.
The property isn't as remote as I would have liked and presumed from the online description. It is next to a heavily trafficked farm to market road. Saturday was especially noisy even with a fan. Sunday noises were much more mellow and quiet. Aside from the vehicle/motorcycle sounds being a bummer, the property is a nice place to rest and rejuvenate.

Very cute, comfortable, well maintained cabin with all the basics. The space is part of a larger RV/Cabin resort called the Orrasis. Interior photos on vrbo are accurate. Shaffer Bend Recreation area is just down the road and a nice place to hike. Easy drive into town of Marble Falls. Hosts are lovely and it's evident they take pride and joy in their land. I highly recommend taking a relaxing trip into Marble Falls and walking around the square. There is wine tasting, places to shop and eat. Hopefully we can go back soon!

Spring Break get away!
We had a wonderful time at the Bait House! It was me, my husband and our 2 older dogs. The area had things to do from hiking, biking, and the adventure park. I highly recommend taking a relaxing trip into Marble Falls and walking around the square. There is wine tasting, places to shop and eat. Hopefully we can go back soon!

The property was incredibly unique, obviously well cared for and maintained, and it was a lot of fun to explore. The Bait House itself was sturdy, clean, well-built, and also very well maintained. We slept comfortably and had everything we needed! We spent two nights and three days at the Bait House. While visiting, we spent a lot of our time in Marble Falls, and the 10-minute drive there was no big deal at all. It's beautiful country out there, so I found it very enjoyable driving anywhere. I'd highly recommend Flat Creek Estates if you're into wine, and there are SO many outdoor places to explore -- Balcones Canyon Lands (Doeskin Ranch, specifically) is beautiful and very nearby, then you've got Turkey Bend, Cow Creek, Shaffer Bend, and the list goes on. Even in Marble Falls the park system they have is quite large and enjoyable to walk around. So if you're looking for somewhere in the Texas Hill Country with lots of charm and plenty to do nearby, definitely check this place out!

If you are there to visit Hidden Falls Adventure Park, this place is located about 10 minutes from the park, and 10 minutes to town. The space was very clean and has an outdoor shower, which my husband loves. We will definitely return.

The Baithouse was everything we needed and more. The property owners live on site but keep to themselves. Privacy was never an issue. They have a great green space! We especially enjoyed the fire pit on the patio. The property is close to town and convenient.
