Nestled in Chama, this charming lodge for $149 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Gorgeous self contained King studio with kitchenette and jacuzzi bathroom 5mn from town yet feels like the country. Breakfast brought to your room included March/April. Every amenity including bathrobes. Lovely peaceful setting with abundant wildlife. Wonderful hiking trails close by. (Edward Sargent wildlife is the backdrop to our property.) Glass blowing studio onsite . Ask for appointment to take a lesson. This is a stunningly beautiful area no matter which road you take from the lodge. There is a fire pit outside which is wonderful for sitting in the evenings and watch the incredible New Mexico skies. Hot tub room is downstairs with fabulous views of the grounds. (Appointment required to ensure privacy) Dogs are welcome Please reach out if you need more bedrooms. The owner is a good communicator and was very accommodating. She made us feel welcome. It was our fault that we didn’t realize all of the stairs. My husband has heart issues and the stairs were very difficult for him, especially hauling the luggage. The accommodations were nice and comfortable.

Beautiful room. The following suggestions are to make your place even more wonderful! Please fix curtain holder near table. Look over bathtub for hair. The jets didn't work? Jacuzzi room reservations need to be clarified so that the room is cleaner. Try to cover the window on the door. More drinking glass please. A bottle water dispenser in room would be nice. A tub to soak used dishes. Open the windows prior to guests arriving to have a fresh smell in room. A extra large men's robe would be nice. Don't stain the deck when guests are arriving. I almost slipped on a piece of card board. If you say luggage will be carried downstairs and stored Please try to do as you said you would do. It was otherwise a lovely room with much attention to detail. Fresh flowers, candle. Clean linens. Reading material,t.v. Beautiful property to walk around. Prior to getting to property area run down. Once on property beautiful! Say goodbye when your guests leave if possible. It was lovely being greated by hostess,on arrival. Be consistent with friendly manners and voice with all communication prior to arriving. Coasters for drinks. In the summer hopefully air conditioning and a toster oven would be nice. What a great property, many places to just hang out and enjoy the scenery and breath clean fresh air and see the stars at night. Wonderful hosts and dogs. Very nice king bed. We loved our stay.

Excellent on a tourist standpoint. Close to the Cumbers & Toltec Scenic train station. Furthermore, a great location for touring Northern New Mexico.

The property and our room was well maintained. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The bed was awesome. Shawn was our on-site person and even though we had no issues was always checking to see if everything was good. I highly recommend the Flickering Flame.

My husband and I enjoyed out stay on this property. It is in a beautiful and relaxing setting. The poppies were in bloom when we were there and it was lovely. The hosts were exceptional. The room was charmingly appointed and just as in the photos. We were at the end of the upstairs balcony with our two Standard Poodles and the host graceously put out a little foldable gate, so we could keep the door open when we wanted and the dogs wouldn't go wandering along the balcony. It worked great. I have two recommendations. First the matress was super sinking soft, too soft, and I did awake with back pain and had to stretch the kinks out. Second, I think a tie back for the curtains would be helpful, as this would allow more light into the room, especially on the window closest to the door. We did enjoy our time there, though, and would certainly stay again.

Very quiet and peaceful place. We enjoyed cross country skiing on the property and the near by wildlife preserve.We had everything we needed. The hot tub was a luxury after skiing. Suhana and Sean are caring, interesting and very loving landlords and artists. We hope to be back for another winter getaway next year....

This a perfect place to stay while away from home! Great host & hostess!! So friendly!! Comfortable bed - we slept so good! The room was so cozy with the fireplace. Wifi worked great when I had to work while we were there. We would definitely stay again!!

From the time we got there to the time we left our stay was great! The room was even better than what we thought it would be and they had stocked the fridge with creamer, lots of snacks in the cupboard, hairdryer, shampoo etc and Netflix available. Although a multi unit VRBO, we could not hear our neighbors. Loved our time yon Chama❤️

We had a wonderful getaway! We were taking a weaving class just out of town so the location was great. Host and hostess were very helpful anytime we wanted anything!! We are definitely going to stay here the next time we visit Chama!

We were very happy with our accommodations. When we arrived too late to dine out the first evening, we were surprised to find a delicious homemade lasagna dinner in our room! The owners were very welcoming and pleasant throughout our visit. We would definitely stay here again!

Suhana's place is clean and quiet, out-of-the-way, with beautiful trees all around. The room was comfortable with coffee, tea, and snacks. I completely recommend Suhana's place to anyone spending time in northern New Mexico.

Everything was amazing! The room was immaculately clean, cozy and well furnished. The location was very quaint and quiet. Upon our arrival we found frozen breakfast items in the freezer as well as several varieties of coffee and tea. We were there during the snow storm (it was gorgeous) and Susan went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed in the event of a power outage! There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this property! We will definitely stay here again when visiting Chama!
