This stay was just as amazing as the first year when it was completed and done. We were expected to see some wear and tear from the past two years but we didn't notice anything. It was perfect! The cleaning and grounds crew do an amazing job taking care of the place and Emma makes sure you feel right at home.

Our large family (30+) spread out over both properties recently. Each property was clean, well-supplied, the kitchens were organized and even the drawers labeled. Every need was throughtfully anticipated and our large family enjoyed our stay immensely. It's a delightful place with many activities set up and available for immediate use - like the swimming pool, sand volleyball court, even sprayers to keep you cool on hot days alongside the pool, billiards and pingpong tables, games - you get my drift. Anna and her crew did a great job preparing for our visit. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. The beds were very comfy. The log construction on the interior of the home is beautiful, and the entire property is welcoming and comfortable. Anna was available when needed via text or phone, and greeted us when we arrived and familiarized us with the property. The industrial-sized stove and TWO dishwashers also came in handy with our large crew. The downstairs bunk room was great fun for adults and children alike, and the smoker and grill + the beautiful poolside kitchen were great to use. PS The coffee was really good too! We will be back!

We had an incredible time at the Deep Woods Escape! the home was spacious, clean and loaded with extras. Our family really enjoyed all of the home…we played sand volleyball, swam, made s’mores at the fire and did evenings in the hot tub. The inside was equally impressive. The bunk room was great for the kids and they loved playing pool and ping pong in the lower level. We made so many great memories we will cherish! Thank you, Emma, for being so great to work with and for having such a well thought out home.

The 11 of us had an incredible long weekend! The house lived up to all the hype even though the weather didn’t cooperate! Hot tub, pool, smoker, incredible kitchen, pool and ping pong, etx! Everybody loved it! Will definitely be back one day and would recommend it to anyone! The owners were incredibly helpful and responsive, no problems at all!

Seven couples rented this Deep-woods property and we had the extra bonus of snow having fallen the night before adding a little more beauty to this property! Even though it’s winter, we probably spent as much time outside as we did inside as we gathered around the fire, in the hot tub, and snuggled up on the deck in soft cozy blankets laughing and chatting about all kinds of things. We enjoyed cooking in the fully stocked kitchen and there was room for all of us to do prepping around the extra large granite island. There is nothing Emma didn’t think of including in this kitchen. All kinds of spices, pots pans, everything you will need to prepare your meals. We also enjoyed the awesome coffee bar area each morning and all of us having all our meals around the the huge dining table that actually was two put together that seated our group perfect! The table is actually two individual tables that are nestled together and we took apart several times for all our game playing so that we were closer together to throw dice etc…So this table could seat so many more than our group size with all the extra chairs stacked closely and neatly against one of the walls. The fireplaces were great and put out nice heat as we enjoyed watching a movie and sports at different times. The bedrooms and bathrooms all worked out well for our group size and we could have had another couple sleeping comfortably on the twin bunks. Again Emma provided soaps, lotions, all kinds of extras in the bathrooms and comfy beds and bedding. We couldn’t have asked for a better place or a better weekend getaway! We absolutely enjoyed our time and hated to see it come to an end! There are wineries and breweries close by but we decided to stay in and enjoy all the great amenities this beautiful property offers! Look no further, book this, no way you will be disappointed!

This place is amazing! They thought of everything that we would possibly need and their hospitality was above and beyond. It was perfect for our family of 15 with small children. The kids had so much fun in the bunk room.

The Cozy rustic atmosphere to the fully equipped kitchen and the uttermost pristine facility all the way down to the tidiest bedroom sets and bathroom towels, while being able to dwell in a nice soft cozy bed at night. You can’t beat a better Christmas vacation stay. The family gathered on the main level, While the noise is muffled from the kids downstairs. For a large family that we have, there is lots of real-estate for the fun activities and recreation that we all participated in. Nothing but SATISFACTION & 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rented this property from Thursday-Sunday and we never even needed to leave. This property literally has EVERYTHING you could want or need! Very clean and you can tell it is very well taken care of. The owners reached out several times over the course of our stay to ensure that we didn't have any questions or concerns. It was fully stocked with all amenities. The pool and hot tub was a total hit. It was perfect for our group of girls. I would definitely recommend to anyone and I will book again. :)

The property was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and SPACIOUS!!! Our 10 person group had PLENTY of space to socialize and fellowship INDOORS and OUTDOORS!!! The kitchen actually turned out to be the FAVORITE place for us to gather!!! So much laughter and many memories were made! Our group is already ready to book for next year!!!

Emma was absolutely the best host anyone could ever have. She was very attentive to anything that we may need even prior to our stay. The property is beautiful and was an absolute amazing time for us and our family and we enjoyed every minute of it.

We had the most amazing weekend. We planned a combined bachelor/bachelorette party with a group of 20. Perfect amount of space and beds. Beautiful property and the owner was incredible to communicate with all weekend whenever we had questions.

We had a group of 8 couples and had the most fantastic time. The photos online don't do this place justice. It was like our own private resort; we didn't leave the entire time other than for a couple of trips to the grocery store. The property owners have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay perfect. We can't wait to come back with other groups as well.

Last week marked the 3rd Annual Badminton trip that we have had at Hillside hideaway/deep woods escape. The Oasis that they have built here is just what my group of 16 friends needed. between the pool, the professional sand volleyball court, outdoor bar\TV , full outdoor kitchen, and hot tub. we barely spent any time inside, but that wasn't because of a lack things to do in there. Baumans really is a magical place to go off grid at. Coming here is an event that all my close friends look forward to every year, and i for one cant wait to get back out there next summer.

Our stay at Bauman’s Deep Woods Escape was nothing short of amazing! The home had all the amenities a person could possibly ever want on a vacation. The decor was beautiful and we felt at home the whole time. The Sonos music system was a hit for my family. The little kids enjoyed the pool while the adults loved the volleyball games! Emma was a wonderful host and took such great care of us. We will definitely book this for next year as well!! A true 5 star resort!

We stayed from Thursday to Monday. Ages 65 to 2 years old. Something to do for everyone. We really enjoyed the pool and outdoor activities when the weather premeditated. Would recommend it to anyone.

This is probably the best air bnb I’ve ever stayed in - and I’ve stayed in many. They have literally everything you could need and more. This was the perfect place for a friends getaway and we can’t wait to stay again one day.

Deep Woods Escape is the place to go! We never left the house cause there is so much to do there. The heated swimming pool was the biggest hit! Absolutely loved the enclosure around it cause we had rain and wind for 2 of our days. On our good weather day we played a lot of volleyball, smoked some pork steaks, hot tubbed it for awhile and roasted up some marshmallows in the evening. We appreciated the fence around the yard for our little ones too. This was our family girls getaway and our ages ranged from 6-63. We didn’t want to leave! One of the kids sadly said “I guess it’s time to go back to reality”. We will return again! Thanks Emma for ALL of the extras you supply, no other vacation rental does what you do!

GORGEOUS home, super clean, well stocked with anything you need! AND never a shortage of anything to do, we will definitely be back!
