About this cottage rental
Less than 1/4 mile (6 blocks) from Main St in quiet neighborhood. Private entrance with covered porch for morning coffee or afternoon "wine down." Separate fenced yard for the fur baby or play ball on the main lawn. Open concept living/dining with a fully stocked kitchenette. 2 relaxing recliners. Separate dining table with 2 chairs. Roku streaming TV with tons of channels. Comfy queen bed. Private bath has huge 3x5 shower with rainhead and plenty of extra towels tucked away in the vanity. And their is a tankless water heater so you never run out of hot water:) Meet the owners out on the shared deck and make new friends... or enjoy your privacy... whatever you decide you will love this little charmer. PLEASE NOTE: This cottage is in the backyard of the owner's residence. Private entrance to yard and cottage allows you to come and go as you please. Private fenced area just off the cottage's porch is perfect for your pet. You are also welcome to use the gas grill and share the larger deck with us. City Permit Number 8056001015 House Rules as Required by the City of Fredericksburg's Short Term Rental Ordinance 1. Observe the City of Fredericksburg Quiet Hours (10pm to 7am) 2. Observe the designated on-site and off-site parking spaces. 3. Place all trash in designated containers.

Tara’s casita was everything we wanted and more! It was super clean, with a comfortable bed and spacious shower. The perfect place for my husband, myself, and our pup! Not to mention, Tara was very personable and accommodating. We will be staying here again on our next trip to wine country!

This was our 3rd time at the casita. We absolutely love it every time. Everything is so easy and accommodating. Tara is always there to greet you and help with any questions you need. Definitely recommend. We even walked into town once! It’s a great place, great location, cute town and super safe !!!

Don’t hesitate to book-it’s a lovely place! The hosts made everything so easy and they are so sweet. The place is beautiful and so adorable. The bed and linens were so comfortable. They have everything you would need in the kitchenette. The bathroom towels so soft and lush. Would definitely recommend!

The casita is charming, comfortable and well equipped. The size makes it perfect for 1 or 2 guests. The location is far enough from the hustle of Main Street to be quiet yet close enough to easily get to shopping and cafes. Ultimately though, it is the Host that will make or break a stay and in this instance, the Hosts were all about making sure the stay was perfect. You couldn't ask for a more generous Host. This is a great place to stay if visiting the Fredericksburg area. Highly recommend.

This little cottage is the cutest. Everything you need is there. When you think there’s something you forgot, be assure, it’s probably in a little drawer around there. So quint and cozy. I’ll be back!!!

Stayed for a weekend getaway with my girlfriend and our two dogs. The place was clean and comfortable, and the owners were very welcoming of us and our fur babies. Great setup for dog owners. There is a private yard that is even equipped with a dog waste bag station and a small hose. The casita itself is comfortable, modern, and comes stocked with all the essentials. The location makes visiting downtown Fredericksburg a breeze, being about a 3 minute drive to Main Street. Would definitely recommend.🙂🙂🐶🐶

My daughter and I stayed in this lovely Casita for two nights and found it to be very comfortable. We enjoyed the location, the property and the hosts were gracious. They were readily available but not intrusive during our stay. Cannot think of one thing I would change about this sweet Casita!

This is our second time to stay at this property. It is the sweetest little cottage/casita! So clean, decorated so nicely, so comfortable, private porch, even a private fenced in area for our little dog. Lovely trees all around, flowers about the yard. The owner did not leave out anything that we may have needed. Sweetest owners!
We will always return to this property whenever we go to Fredericksburg!

We planned a last minute getaway to Fredericksburg to celebrate our anniversary and this casita was a delight. It had everything we could have possibly needed and the decor was fresh and cute. Tara and her husband were great hosts and gave excellent recommendations for restaurants and wineries. We had a lovely stay!

We were so impressed with everything about of stay!! The Casita is excellent for 2 adults and a pet, the location so convenient!! The welcome bottle of sparkling wine and mini cupcakes a terrific surprise!! Highly recommend!

Surprised by the cleanliness. I always travel with things to cleanup a bit upon arrival.. when I walked it, I immediately realized it would not be needed. Owners were very friendly and hospitable to not only us but our furrbaby. Perfect for our weekend getaway!

A wonderful casita on the owners property. An incredible renovated space that looks spectacular. it looks like it just was in a photo shoot for HGTV. The casita was amazing. Very comfortable and more amenities than I'll ever use. Traveling with 2 dogs can be tricky. The yards were set up perfectly for them.

My wife and I make annual trips to Fredericksburg mid to late December to enjoy the holiday activities in the city. We typically stay in a different Vrbo property each time. For this trip we selected Tara's casita and were not disappointed. The casita was even better than advertised, well decorated, clean, comfortable, and in execellent condition. Tara was a terrific host and met us on arrival and departure, asking about our stay and what else she could do to make us comfortable. There the casita was stocked with chocolates, coffee, and even a pleasant surprise beverage in the refrigerator. We will definitely stay here again...proximity to Main street is good but far enough away for peace and quiet in the evening. Overall, great stay and I encourage others to try the casita and meet Tara. Larry.

This property is tucked away but still close to plenty of wineries and about 3 minutes from main street. Enjoy your morning coffee on the porch surrounded by butterflies while watching the cows at the neighboring ranches. The house is beautifully decorated and perfect for a short or long stay. The owners provide special little touches for your comfort and convenience and their attention to details is top-notch. We can't wait to go back and stay here again!

The casita was exceptional having all the amenities needed. We don’t cook on vacation but the kitchen had everything required for preparing meals and cleaning up. Tastefully decorated in blues and whites, calming and restful. Neighborhood quiet and if it is too quiet, there is a homedics sound machine to soothe you to sleep. The bed is very comfortable and there is plenty of closet and storage space. Nice bath area with large shower and plenty of hot water. Comfortable lounge seating with great tv/streaming options. The property is truly a garden oasis; lush green lawn and gorgeous landscaping with flowers to attract butterflies, birds, etc. If you bring your pup, there is a private side yard that is just as lush with plenty or green grass and beautiful landscaping to sit and enjoy the outdoors with your fur baby and enough space for small dog zoomies. Also, very large covered porch to sit outside and enjoy the lush surroundings. The hosts provide generous hospitality and are so friendly. Wonderful place to stay — highly recommend!!

We got in late and not only did Tara leave the light on for us but she waited up for us and greeted us with the friendliest smile! She was so helpful and thorough with helping us create the perfect weekend for my husbands birthday. Every one of her suggestions and recommendations were fabulous finds for food, atmosphere, and drink! This was also the most perfect setup for our little pup as a traveler too! We will be back !

This cottage is an awesome place to stay. It is so cute and the owners have gone above and beyond to provide renters with everything they could ask for. The cottage has a beautiful backyard with a separate yard for your dog. They have a well equipped kitchen, a dishwasher and beautiful backyard. It was important to us that we were able to cook out one night and they were more than happy to share their grill with us. I should add that the interior of the cottage is just as amazing as the exterior. This is a great property and we will definitely return!

Cute Casita
We loved staying in this perfect little cottage. It had everything we needed to make us feel right at how me. It was clean and beautifully decorated. We brought our small dog. We felt like he was welcomed with open arms. There was even a private area for him to enjoy some outside time.

I loved that my dogs had a nice yard area. It was quite and close to the places we visited, shopped, and great places to eat.
The cottage was cool and cozy. I would definitely recommend it anyone that wants to visit Fredericksburg.
